Would be zero stars
Would be zero stars. Needed a cut because we sold our house and wanted to give it one last cut for the new owners. Requested service and heard nothing for a week. Called to inquire and they were escalating the request. Got an email saying someone was assigned and would do it the next day. That day came and nobody did it. I assumed they would come another day and was out of town for a few days and days away from close and my backyard now looks like a jungle. Completely pissed.

My regular lawn man was ill so I looked for alternate service. I selected Lawn Guru & they responded quickly, however when they arrived they started service without a knock on the door (I work from home) or text. I looked up and they were packing up. I reviewed service from my camera & saw a HOLE in my new vinyl fence, I ran outside & asked how are we gonna resolve this, when we went out to inspect, also notice they did not edge the fence line. I was livid that they were packing up & not have the respect or DECENCY to admit their damage to the fence. I had to run inside for a call & these Mickie Fickie's took OFF. The name of the service guy is Delson & his actions were unprofessional. He claimed I had an object in my lawn that he ran over. That's a LIE, I'm an old woman with a well kept yard, I have no kids, animals or foreign objects littering my yard. I wish there was a way I could attach the photos.

Probably the worst experience with a company Iâve ever had. The app is ok and lets you book services through it but the contracted company did half of the work and then left never to return. Then LawnGuru makes me jump through hoops just to get a whopping $10âs off my bill that was well over $100.
Unsatisfactory lawncare
My daughter hired Lawn Guru this past week. They we due to come on Monday 3/16/26 however they came on 3/15/26. When they showed up, they welcomed themselves into my backyard with no announcement or anything! They just opened to gate and started mowing. If this is a business, then give the customer common courtesy of coming to the front door acknowledging who you are and then start work.
Let's get to the lawn job. Looked sloppy and very rushed. The work was incomplete. Proper clean up was not done. The yard looks like a kid or a newbie did the work. No pride was taken in the work done. Looks like they just wanted the money and left. Absolutely unacceptable! I've asked my daughter to cancel the service. I don't want them to EVER touch my yard again!

Horrible experience. Sent the wrong provider, they didn't plow, i lost most of my day arguing w/ them about it and then they sent me an updated quote for double the price quoted originally.

I cancelled an order for snow service and then had to shovel due to emergency need to be able to get to a hospital. Next day, someone claims he performed the plowing at my house. He had done nothing. In fact I had not cleared all the snow, but he didn't know that because he never drove down my driveway. I sent photos of this to LawnGuru and opened a ticket. So

Contacted customer service and they said they were looking for another provider. That never happened. I canceled with them and got someone local. They suck....
The past few months
The past few months, the service was good. I rate the plow driver a 10 but customer service a 1
I was notified via text of an upcoming plow. Within minutes, I replied "skip" Thank you.
Received response and the next day, they plowed my property.
When I inquired about the error, I was berated because I included thank you on the next line. When did courtesy become outdated? If they only wanted "skip" the app should only allow that. Unbelievable!
I'm disputing the charge with my credit card and wished I read the latest reviews back in November.
Worst of the worst in customer service!
They charged me for a job they didnât do!
I requested snow removal if it could be done in a 24 hour period because I was having a party. No one picked up the job so I did the shoveling myself. Then today, two days later, someone came out to do the job. I told them no and that it was already done. They charged me the full $86 for the job even though they do nothing! Itâs very hard to get any customer service and there is no phone number for customer service, only for sales. Terrible experience!
Complete Incompetence - Can't Deliver Service
Like the numerous other reviews related to the failure of their AutoPlow service after the January 25 snow storm, I would rate LawnGuru a zero if I could.
After three days of having them promise that someone would accept my job, they emailed me today to say that they were canceling my plow request.
They offered the option of placing a 1X order, which they priced at FOUR times the price of the AutoPlow!
Avoid these incompetents if you need to get somthing done around your house.

I would give zero stars if I could. Never showed up, didnât respond to messages asking for updates or ETA. Even after messaging someone via the app and being told they would get someone asap they never came and I never heard anything from them. I had to hire someone else 3 days after a snowstorm to do the work. It seems convenient to sign up but donât do it. Now weâll see if I get my money backâŠ
Very poor service
I had arranged for snow removal two days before the last snow storm. A vendor excepted and emailed he would be here after the snow storm. I emailed him three times thru the Lawnguru email system with no reply from the vendor that accepted the job. Online chat system for Lawnguru keeps kicking you to the bottom of the list for a reply could not speak to chat. Lastly someone from Lawnguru came to my house in the evening looked around I spoke to him and he said someone would follow up with me. Never happened. Very poor service understand it was a bad storm but they could have kept in touch during the storm. Not a service I would recommend or use again.

I have to start off with... I wish I read all the negative reviews before I tried to hire this company. I tried to hire them for the snow storm we had here in southern Maryland. Maria Chicas accepted the job and never showed up. I reached out to Maria and she never answered my two messages. I then reached out to the company twice to ask what is the next step and they never responded either time. Now the snow turned to ice and I cant get anyone here to remove the snow. I am literally trapped in my home now. The CEO of this company should be reading these reviews. If you ask me I dont think they care! Shame on you LawnGuru. I wish I could give this comany Zero stars. Horrible.

Service Provider no show. Called and text him with no response. Called company they said they would reach out to other providers in the area. No one ever came to plow driveway. Left me stuck in my house for a day. Neighbor finally plowed me out thank goodness or I would still be there! I cancelled immediately. Will never use them again.

Booked their Auto Plow service for my elderly parents, first snow fall hit and they ghosted. There was no communication, didn't tell me no one was coming, just didn't show up. I canceled my service.

This is the worst service provider ever. I signed up for auto plow to service my property whenever it snows. We have had seven events of snow this season and a shoveler only came one time. Do not sign up for this app or service they are unreliable. They claim they have experts who monitor snow but they obviously donât. Find another provider because you will be highly disappointed.
