The best course in the industry. I am blown away by the quality of the contant. The trainers are the best who got enormous amount of knowledge and expertise. I requested them for help which they immediately offered.

Great content

Andreas is a fantastic instructor. I am grateful for the incredibly well-structured data engineering course he has provided. The most beneficial aspect for me was the inclusion of hands-on projects; these allowed me to practically apply the concepts and theories I learned throughout the course.

This was a pretty good overview of API concepts and the use of FastAPI. It requires some extra research on FastAPI's website and other sources to get exercises in some of the lessons to work.
It took me a while to figure out how to configure the WSL setup properly. File paths are important, and this isn't covered much in the lessons.
For example, when installing UVICORN, there are a couple of warnings "the script uvicorn was installed (at a certain path) but this path is not in PATH". After adding the path to Ubuntu PATH, vscode pylance still does not recognize some of the Python packages. (Needed to restart vscode.) Also, UVICORN needs to be started (reloaded) in the path where the main.py exists.

The company is doing well and has significant knowhow in Data Engineering. I can say I have learnt a lot that's highly beneficial to me.

We can find a lot of content about Data Engineer on the internet, but we can't find it like in the Learn Data Engineering Academy.
I always wanted to learn Data Engineering but was looking for something that can guide me well and nothing can bit this Academy course structure. Everything is well structured and well explained here. The best part is you get to do lots of hand-on with relevant courses, and Andreas is always direct and very practical.
It really guided me in my professional life.

Andreas is a great teacher. The content is fully curated, and as Lead Data Engineer I come across super useful information for learning different Cloud Providers approaches.

The main difference, and the aggregate value are the office hours. ONLINE spaces asking almost anything to Andreas in first person, having a truly back and forward.

I really would love to come across the academy sooner, but know i am proud and going to the lifetime subscription.

Ich bin jetzt seit ein paar Monaten dabei und freue mich über jedes Video, das hochgeladen wird. Der Inhalt ist super und Andreas hat eine sympathische Art die Dinge zu erklären. Was mir noch etwas fehlt, sind ein paar Handouts oder Anleitungen (Step by Step), die man als PDF speichern kann. Da es sehr viele Themen sind, ist es bei manchen Themen schwierig, sich alle Videos noch einmal anzuschauen, wenn man sich näher damit beschäftigt. Ich hoffe, dass das vielleicht noch nachgeliefert wird. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden. Ich werde demnächst als Quereinsteiger in den Bereich einsteigen und freue mich auf alle Einblicke in den Bereich. Toll ist auch, dass immer wieder neue Themen veröffentlicht werden und die Community mit einbezogen wird. Andreas ist offen für Feedback und steckt viel Herzblut rein.

I went through the coaching program from Andreas Kretz and thoroughly enjoyed the sessions. Both beginners and experienced folks can take the course and gain value out of it. Data Academy videos were mostly hand on to develop a variety of skills including database design, data warehousing, data modeling, and data pipeline development. Follow Andreas on various channels to gain insights on what's happening on the Data Engineering world.

There is a lot to be said about Andreas. For one, he coined the term "Plumbers of Data Science". It's a great analogy for data engineering!

When I first joined his class...I was quite intimidated. Having watched many of his youtube videos, he was easily the most knowledgeable, straight-forward and sharpest of the youtube personalities that I came across. He was a mentor of mine, whose content I watched over and over, educating myself on topics around data engineering and analytics. He had an impressive background, and focused on a niche area I was interested in (data in industry).

However, it was humbling being a part of his mentorship program. As sharp, intelligent and wise as he is...Andreas is also a down to Earth nice guy. He was patient when answering questions, shared best practices and processes with his students, helping them structure their own data projects in a methodical way. He entertained my many questions, and was always professional and available for any follow up and help.

Over time, I now consider Andreas a friend, and a data coach. He is a natural teacher, and his content is essential for anyone pursuing learning/work in the field of data engineering and analysis.

Highly recommend Andreas to anyone looking to take their journey in data to the next level!

Some time last year, when I was trying to understand the data engineering field better, after some research, I found out about the site learndataengineering.com.

There are several technologies/techniques
and tools covered on the site. The instructor Andreas Kretz has a great teaching style, he doesn’t throw any technical jargons to explain anything
and never rushes through any topic, which I truly appreciate.

I’m now working as a full time data engineer and everyday I’m using the tools, knowledge, and experience I learn from Andreas Learn Data engineering courses.

I think I enjoy my job because I was trained precisely by Andreas about the data engineering basics.

His course are designed in such a way that helps you begin with any new tools quite easily.

I understand that this field is vast but there is a genuine need to teach spark beyond those introductory lectures. The topics covered are too elementary.

If really you want to become a data engineer you have to learn the job from a data engineer.
The academy is the place to learn this job.
You learn the basic then the right tools and how to choose them (based on your data, your schema ...) then you build a pipeline.
Like that, you will learn by doing and at the end you will have a solid knowledge and a competitive portfolio.
