Vini is working with Liam on Liam’s his…
Vini is working with Liam on Liam’s 8 th grade standards in math. Liam was able to complete some of his weekly tests. Since he was quite a bit behind, he was not able to do some of his homework. Vini had requested Liam’s homework lessons as he wants to work parallel with his tutor lessons so he can complete more homework assignments. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to get those until the week of October 5. We are looking forward to him being able to complete more homework assignments from now on! The homework lessons he was able to complete he did very well!
We appreciate Vini’s help and patience.

Vini is a great teacher
Vini is a great teacher! We had some math problems right after our session, and my son had no trouble remembering what he had just learned! He was excited that he had just learned it from the teacher and could recognize that! It was a lightbulb moment!

Working with Dustin has been great
Working with Dustin has been great! I have learned a lot in both math and english and feel more confident in tackling math problems (which is the area that I wanted to improve the most). Working with Dustin also helped reduce the stress/anxiety that goes along with test taking. His explanations were always clear and helpful - I would highly recommend LEARNER and working with Dustin.

I love his tutor
I love his tutor. She’s very patient even though he has a disability and has issues sitting down. She still gives him his time that he needs and then he ends up getting everything done. I’ve never seen him interact with a tutor in the way he does with her and love to work with her I really love this program. I love his tutor and would not give it up for the world

I was listening as you were working…
I was listening as you were working with him. I appreciate the style in which you teach. Letting him tell you and giving him what I call “think time”, the opportunity to work through it, and have him explain how he came to the answer.
He was smiling when it was over and said he feels more confident now and thinks this will help.
His exam is coming up this November. When can we schedule more sessions?

The session wasn’t interactive
The session wasn’t interactive. It was basically like a public school class room setting teacher white boarding and explain vs having student do it and engaging the student to make sure they are understanding the concept and practicing the concept. This is not going to work for us

Axel is quickly becoming my favorite tutor of all time. I'm learning Spanish with him and I'm finding his gentle style is helping build my confidence in leaps and bounds by the lesson. I know I"m going to reach my language goals with him and the work outside the classroom.

Thanks for the great Math help
Sophie is getting A's so far in Algebra 2 and likes working with Miguel and says he is "good at teaching her how to do stuff". She was worried about online tutoring at first, coming from an in person group tutoring program. Thank you and we REALLY appreciate Miguel's flexibility with scheduling and changes because of Sophie's ever changing schedule and many committments.
