Learning SPACE is a family-run business, started in 2007 by sisters Lorraine (a teacher) and Mary (a social worker). It all began with our younger sister, Emma, who has Sotos syndrome. Supporting her showed us how hard it can be for families to find the right equipment and honest advice, so we set out to make that easier. Naomh joined in 2015, and we’re now a team of 14 combining lived experience with qualifications in education, childcare and specialist support. We supply sensory, educational and specialist equipment, from sensory toys and resources to full sensory rooms, classroom furniture and outdoor play. We source from more than 200 suppliers and work with families, schools, nurseries, therapists, hospitals and local authorities across the UK and Ireland. We’re also a major supplier for Family Fund. What makes us different: Products chosen by people who use them. Our range is shaped by therapists, teachers, parents and children, not just a catalogue. We’ve been there ourselves. We understand what families are going through, and we give advice rather than just a sales pitch. Fair prices. If you find it cheaper elsewhere, we’ll do our best to match or beat it. More than products. Our sister company, Diverse SPACE, offers neurodiversity-affirming training for schools, families and organisations.

Items are absolutely fab!

Items are absolutely fab!
I ordered 2 large floor bean bags and they are amazing. Fantastic quality material, really sturdy, they should last a long long time. Lovely designs. Bigger than I was expecting! My son absolutely loves them! Great customer service and the delivery was really fast.

Great customer service

Great customer service! I was having issues placing an order, and Georgina the customer service administrator could not have been more helpful!
My emails were responded to very quickly, Georgina placed my order for me and updated me on the progress.
I have used Learning Space before and I highly recommend.

All I can say this learning space is absolutely fantastic as it's got everything in from sensory to leaning disabilities to pre school 🚞 and even adults can benefit from this also just fantastic absolutely nothing to dislike about any item I've got from this leaning space it's all benefit all from ages 0 to adults xxx ❀❀🙏🙏🥰🥰

Training with Andy

Andy came to our setting to provide training on ASD/ADHD/ Sensory processing. It was incredibly informative and such a fun training session. We all gained some new knowledge and Andy made the time go very fast. He also spent time with anyone who had questions and no question went unanswered. Amazing company, amazing products.

Absaloutely amazing service from start to Finnish, I'd been awarded a family fund voucher to use for my ADHD/ASD daughter for her sensory needs, the items we recieved are brilliant quality and I will 100% be ordering from them again.

Cormac was extremely helpful when ordering items for my Daughter diagnosed ASD. He even suggested an item that was very helpful when I had a few pounds to spare from the grant.

Can’t wait to set everything up with my Daughter to help her anxiety and share some very special moments with her.
