We were referred to Legacy by our vet as we wanted a home visit rather than taking him to a surgery.
From the first call with Hannah to collecting our boys ashes a few days later we could not have had a better service. The whole team, Hannah in the office, John the vet, Ian and Justin who collected Diego from our house where all amazing. They showed immense compassion and empathy for our loss and took great care of our boy. I would certainly recommend Legacy to anybody who is unfortunate enough to find themselves in such a sad situation losing there beloved pet.

From finding out we had to make the hardest and most painful decision, legacy pets, from start to finish where very supportive, From the 1st phone call to Ebony, the home visit from Claire the vet, and shawn we couldn't of asked for a better service for cujoe our dog, she was well looked after from the beginning to the end, Claire the vet was very dignified and showed so much empathy at this sad time, there was no rush, we got to spend just over a hour with our fur baby before shawn turned up, again he was brilliant, showed a lot of care and talked us through everything, we got a call once cujoe arrived where she was taken, shawn told us she would be well cared and looked after, which was lovely, thank you annalise for calling us to say cujoe would be ready to get picked up, and for the service when we cameto pick cujoe up, everything was so lovely, would highly recommend this kind caring people, thank you Hazel, gaz, family,

From start to finish, all staff who have supported us on the journey have been terrific. They have provided a quality of service that has been both extremely customer and pet focused throughout. It has provided time to grieve Molly's passing and celebrate the joy she has given too. The additional touches of a candle and forget me knot seeds along with a personalised memory card were a real comfort. On behalf of Pat and myself - a big thank you.

But they arived. And was so kind he gave us time with our boy before. Taking him this was done with dignity and respect to both us and Joe
They rang us when Joe arrived bed and let us know he was being taken care of with respect
And that’s exactly what we wanted he was our world so we wanted the best for him
To know he was taken care of at the worst day of our life’s gave us. Some comfort
They delivered Joe back to us. A couple of days later and again the gentleman who came was so kind and respectful

We recently lost our beloved cat Ozzy who was involved in a road traffic accident. We contacted Legacy Pets Cremation Services to take care of Ozzy and the service they provided from collecting him from the Vets, to bringing him home to us was carried out with so much care and respect.

our beautiful boy was put to sleep on thursday. they met us in the vets to take him and solidify everything. on sunday, we got a call to let us know he was ready to come home.
the shop in bury was very clean and welcoming and calm.
every member we spoke to was absolutely fantastic and had lots of patience for me as i could barely speak over the phone.
it makes it a little bit easier knowing our sweet boy was respected and comfortable until he could come home.

Highly recommend Ann arrived the vet for our Scamp she made him feel calm and special spoke to us regards what will happen she was amazing kind and so professional. Our Scamp passed pretty quick we were then left to have time with him before Ian arrived to collect him and I must say this what a lovely caring gentleman Ian was not only did he explain everything he handle my Scamp with love care and respect that night he rung to let me know he was safely in the crematorium. When we went back to pick up this ashes the lady was so lovely and caring the package we bought was beautiful right down to the card they sent with love all the staff and the manager there deserve praise for being such kind hearted people who treated our Scamp like there own thank you so much for making such a sad day and week be more easy through you xoxo and again thank you for everything you have done amazing 5 star service plus lovely keepsakes in the shop to buy love nataliya and Addie Scamps mum and dad xoxo❤️❤️

Legacy Pets provided an exceptional service from beginning to end. The staff are very caring and professional. This is the second time I have used this service and again they made a very sad and difficult time so much more bearable. I had total confidence that my girl would be looked after with care and dignity. The quality of the products and packaging are also of a high standard. I would highly recommend Legacy Pets to anyone.

5 stars doesn’t seem enough for the service we received. From the initial phone call to the final goodbye, Legacy Pets were amazing, and we couldn’t rate them highly enough.
The vet Ane was so compassionate and she ensured that our 15 yr old golden retriever, Harvey, left this world peacefully and with the utmost dignity. She explained everything in detail, and kept checking in with the 4 of us. She allowed Harvey’s companion Bentley (8) to lie next next to him for the whole process (that’s a whole other heartbreaking story).
The undertaker arrived at the agreed time, and let us have as much time with Harvey as we needed.
He was wonderful. My husband helped to gently lay Harvey on a portable stretcher and carry him out to the black van, where they laid him on a huge soft bed and tucked him in with clean throws.
The guy was not phased at all by how upset the 4 of us were, and encouraged us to say one last goodbye. Bentley waited his turn and then went up and sniffed H’s paws and then sat down to watch the car leave. 😭
They phoned us when Harvey arrived at the crem and assured us that he would be dealt with in a dignified manner.
When we went to collect Harvey’s ashes a few days later , the service again was exceptional.
We would 100% recommend this company.

I can't write anything much because I did not use legacy pets I had to use anther service ( who were fantastic ) as when I rang them for an urgent home euthanasia they could not provide the services as it was after tea time and no vets available I've heard the same of other people, definitely not 24/7 change your website.

It’s taken quite some time for me to be able to write this review. On a Sunday morning in January with several inches of snow, our beloved Siamese cat, Milo had deteriorated quickly. Home euthanasia was the only real option. Our local ’24/7’ (animal hospital) vet would not come out but recommended Legacy Pets.

Legacy Pets were fantastic from the very start. They promised to try and get to us within a few hours and were true to their word.
The vet that came was fantastic and extremely empathetic. He took time to stroke and chat to Milo before anything else happened. He talked us through everything he would be doing and exactly what we could expect to happen so that we weren’t shocked or alarmed in anyway. He was very caring with Milo throughout the whole process and made an incredibly painful time for us as bearable as possible. Once the vet had told us Milo was at peace he then told us to take as long as we needed with him before the van would arrive to take him away.

The van driver arrived quickly to collect Milo. He asked if we were sure we were ready and if we needed more time as he would happily wait as long as we needed. He came in and spoke to us and reassured us that Milo would be in good hands. He didn’t rush us and took things at our pace. He was very kind and calming in his manner and you could tell he cared about our feelings and Milo, over anything else.

Despite the extreme weather and Sunday morning call out, Milo’s remains were returned home, as promised, within 48 hours, in such a touching and empathetic way.

The staff on the phone were also lovely and kind. I cannot praise this company enough and the service they provide is certainly value for money. Thank you so much Legacy Pets!

What an amazing company Legacy Pets truly is. The love, empathy and understanding is truly second to none!
From the very first phone call on Monday to discuss the options. I wasn't sure if we were in their area. I was in Horbury, near Wakefield. Legacy Pets is based in Bury. There was a minimal fee for the mileage, which I was happy to pay. It was a smooth swift service to arrange for our beloved Jack to be collected, for the cremation service and tribute box. The empathy from the person I initially spoke with was exceptional. He truly put me at ease during this difficult time. He was helpful and informative. Happy to answer all my questions and put my worries at ease.

I had phoned a few companies that day. Within 2 minutes of speaking to Legacy Pets, I knew they were the company for me. They truly care about our animals! Once I had chosen the style of urn and gone through everything over the phone. I was told that Jack would be collected within the next 2 hours. Given that we were almost an hour and half away I was extremely surprised.

I received regular calls and updates, informing me that Jack had been collected from the vets and was now in their hands. 24 hours later I recieved another call stating that Jack was all ready to come home !

He was hand delivered by a very smart polite gentlemen who very kindly gave us our Jack back. He was in a presentation bag, with a sympathy card from Legacy Pets along with candle, certificate of his cremation. He truly was cared for well with Legacy Pets and they maintained his dignity and were so respectful of him and us.

Thank you for helping us during this difficult time.

You should all be very proud of the service you provide! I will recommend you to anyone who needs this service in the future. Should anything happen in the future to my remaining furbabies, I will certainly use your service again.

We used legacy pets to collect our Ruby from the vets and use their cremation package. From the first phone call before we made a vet appointment for her to be put to rest legacy pets gave an immense amount of support and care explaining with care the packages they can offer. Ruby was collected from her vets within 45 minutes from Legacy pets and due to be returned home today 48 hours later , we chose a package with a wooden engraved casket with paw prints fur shavings and a tube of some of her ash to create other keepsakes. Would 100% recommend this company to anyone who needs these services they made us feel at ease and what is a very sad time reassuring that our girl was looked after untill she was returned home Thankyou very much

Once again on the 19/02/25 I had to call upon the services of Legacy Pets at Bury in Lancashire, another of my little puss cat became so seriously ill that I had to call Legacy Pets as an emergency. I would need immediate home euthanasia for her by one of their trusted vets, also I would need one of their full packages off them which would include, cremation, sleeping cat package, prints, fur vials, pick up and return.
After taking my details the lovely lady asked if she could call call me back, she did so within minuets and to my great relief she had managed to arrange everything I had requested, the lovely vet John Foord would arrive within two hours and Ian Ramsden from Legacy Pets would arrive an hour later to take over giving me some time to spend with my little Milly to say good bye and give cuddles.
Milly was brought back to me by Ian Ramsden within 48 hours in a beautiful wooden sleeping cat urn along with a lovely nose print and fur vials.
Milly now rest in peace with her friend Poppy.
Thank You Legacy Pets, to ALL who made this very speedy process possible, you are true professionals, thank God you where there when I needed you.

I sadly lost my pet dog Reva on valentines day,she was taken to Legacy after making an appointment with Eboni, who was so understanding and compassionate, then on arrival we where greeted by Fern, who again was so understanding and again compassionate and very professional explaining everything and showing us what we could choose. We loved the way thing's were done and how much dignity Reva was given as a loving and grieving owner's.
On monday the 17th, We collected Reva for the store in Bury and where greeted by Annalise who again was so helpful,caring and very professional, we chatted about Reva and that helped us a lot.
The total experience with Legacy, again has been very exemplary and beautiful handled all the staff we came into contact via phone or in person have been superb and are a credit to Legacy and John's professional and understanding beliefs THANK YOU ONE AND ALL AT LEGACY PETS CREMATION SERVICE ❤️💙❤️💙

on Wednesday I had to make the heartbreaking decision to have my beautiful cat Joe put to sleep and I was absolutely devastated. I came way from the vets and immediately phoned Legacy pets as I had used their service before. I had time to take my boy home to say a final goodbye to him and he was collected within 45 minutes of me speaking to the lovely lady over the phone. Joe was collected by a very kind man who laid him in a soft bed in his van giving me time to give him a gentle stroke and kiss goodbye. I was kept up to date with everything and Joe was returned to me 2 days later in his sleeping cat urn, beautifly displayed in a bag along with a candle and cremation certificate. He is now home resting peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Thank you Legacy pets for your care and kindness to myself and Joe at this extremely difficult time 💜🙏

From start to finish the care and understanding was outstanding. Absolute top class customer service, treated our little dog like their own. Transported her on her own in a little bed all tucked in. Put her little coat on her and made her look nice after CPR etc. such kind, personal touches,read out some words we had written for her before she was cremated, on her own with her favourite toys,blanket etc even flowers.
Ashes personally delivered to our home 24 hours later in the engraved casket we ordered with some very thoughtful bits and pieces.
Pet parents will understand how important all this is,truly the kindest people,we were devastated after the sudden loss of our 7 year old little dog after a tooth extraction which led to complications and her death within 24 hours. They couldn't have been nicer or more considerate. If you want your pet treated like you would treat them this is the place.
I hope one day they will offer pet funerals then they can have the send off they truly deserve.
Thankyou from the bottom of my heart, we will never forget what you did for us at our lowest moment.

Legacy Pets came highly recommended to us from my brother in law, who had used their services a while ago.
The whole experience was one of professionalism, care, kindness, dignity, and understanding.
when Charlie the vet came to our home, he was so compassionate and understanding, telling us about the whole process. It was so very peaceful to see our little girl, "Lola", just simply lie down and go to sleep.
That sereneness was the same in the Chapel of Rest.
When we went to collect her ashes, we met Paula. What a wonderful, caring and understanding person she was. She brought a smile to our faces when, in fact, we thought it would be the opposite.
Legacy Pets is such a wonderful place to deal with, in such traumatic upsetting times.
