Alistair has genuinely made me fall in love with law. His ability to explain difficult legal concepts in such a clear, engaging and memorable way is incredible. I normally lose focus quite easily, but during his lessons I stay completely engaged and often wish the lesson could continue for longer.

He dosent simply teach definitions or encourage memorisation. He teaches you how to analyse, question and think like a lawyer. After every lesson, I feel more confident, more curious and more capable of approaching legal problems properly.
The homework he gives is always thoughtful, interesting and genuinely valuable. Every week I learn something new, and most importantly, I truly understand what I am learning rather than simply memorising information.

Alistair is patient, encouraging, highly knowledgeable and clearly cares about his students’ progress. He is also genuinely funny, which makes him one of those rare tutors who can make studying law both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating. Thanks to him, studying law feels exciting rather than overwhelming. I could not recommend him highly enough to anyone who wants to understand law properly and develop strong legal thinking skills.

I've been asked for my feedback on my SQE prep course experience so far and I can honestly say its the best help ive had during any of my studies (undergrad, masters or SQE) and is 10x better than another provider I was already with which was so much more expensive and not even half as good (learn from my mistake!). The tutor is very knowledgeable and helpful and easy to talk with, the notes provided are very comprehensive and easy to learn and I like that there is someone to do the practice questions with every week. I will update this again after I have taken the SQE1 next month but I am very happy with everything!

Have been doing the SQE prep course and I have to say its been so helpful! I was already signed up somewhere else on another prep course (which was so much more expensive!!) but it was not good at all as the classes were so big and the teacher just talked about general things, asked us to email him if we had any questions and then never got back. My experience with legal law tutor has been so different, the tutor explains everything so clearly and easily and always answers any questions straight away. The notes provided are great because they cover all the core things in each subject without unnecessarily covering obvious things and stuff that isnt likely to be tested (the notes are about 20-30 pages for each topic). I also find the mcq practice qs for each topic helpful and enjoy going through them with the tutor because its nice to get feedback and an explanation straight away it helps me to remember it better. Mega happy with everything, thank you so much.

I get on amazing with my tutor, he is always very well prepared, friendly, funny and literally knows everything! I tried other tutors in the past and some were so bad, I am so happy I have finally found this and will definitely be a customer until I graduate!

I have been having tutoring for 3 weeks now and I have already seen a massive improvement! Every lesson is so practical and helpful, I just wish I would have found Legal Law Tutor earlier :( would highly recommend

This was so helpful! I had 2 sessions with Alistair for 2 different essays, which were very detailed and informative. It helped me feel confident when writing the essays, and helped improve my understanding of the topic massively!

Alistair is an amazing law tutor. He taught me how to properly structure a law essay/problem question, patiently went through topics I found difficult, and always made sure I fully understood them. He even checked in with me, reminded me to study, and asked if I had any questions, which really helped, especially since I found them last minute. He’s super friendly, supportive, and genuinely cares about his students and wants them to do well. I definitely recommend Alistair.

Very helpful. I mentioned that I wish I had found them at an earlier stage in my degree as it was extremely beneficial and helped me achieve a high 2:1 in a topic I struggled with. Would definitely recommend to other university students!

The university modules focus more on the legal technicalities or “law-in-theory”. The tutorial sessions with experienced UK native lawyers at Legal Law Tutor helped a lot to gain knowledge about the “law-in-practice”. Great experience and highly recommend.

These were the most detailed classes I have ever received. In the 3 years time at university I had not gained the knowledge about writing essays and problem questions that I have now. I am upset that I didn’t find them earlier otherwise I would’ve joined classes from the very first year at law school.
