The Dashboard will give you personalized service recommendations from this marketplace based on the analysis it does of your website. The system they have over there is actually pretty great as everything is connected. Not only that but they also have 24/7 human support. Super friendly people, and they always solve my concerns in the matter of minutes. All recommendations for Legiit!

I tried Legiit mainly for a press release service and honestly didn’t expect much beyond that, but I was pleasantly surprised. The press release itself was solid, and the customer support was genuinly amazing. Fast replies, helpful answers, and they cared about making sure I got what I needed.

If you’re a freelancer thinking about Legiit, here’s the shocking truth: they force you into a lose lose situation. Either you:

1️⃣ Bring clients from outside the marketplace, do the project yourself, and let Legiit take 15% of your earnings even though you sourced the client.

2️⃣ Or, pay $27/month for Legiit Plus just to make your service visible in search and categories.

I personally got a client from outside the marketplace today and closed the deal using PayPal. So why would I let Legiit take 15% for nothing, when my service isn’t even visible? 😅

Instead of helping freelancers succeed, Legiit prioritizes forcing to buy their plan. This is hands down the worst marketplace I’ve ever seen, especially for new sellers trying to get exposure.

Freelancers beware visibility shouldn’t come at a cost or penalty, yet here, it does.

You mentioned:

If that is truly your policy, then why do you encourage new freelancers to buy the Legiit Plus plan, where just by paying, their services instantly become visible even if they haven't met any of the “proven, vetted” criteria?

So which one is the real standard?

Quality and proven track record or the ability to pay $27/month?

Because from my experience:

• Without Legiit Plus, a new freelancer’s service is hidden
• With Legiit Plus, that same “unproven” freelancer becomes visible immediately

That directly contradicts your statement that Legiit protects customers by only showing sellers who have proven themselves.

If visibility can be purchased without meeting the criteria, then this becomes less about quality and more about revenue.

I hope you can clarify why “unproven freelancers” are not allowed visibility unless they pay for it because it completely goes against the explanation you provided about maintaining quality standards.

I ordered a Google Maps Citation service from a seller on Legiit, but the seller used the wrong address. Despite my providing proof, he insisted he did it correctly and refused to fix it. This has caused my client's local ranking to drop drastically due to NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) inconsistency and poor-quality GSA backlinks.

I showed the seller and the admins Local Falcon rankings for the same location, keyword, and radius as evidence.

I filed a dispute with Legiit's customer service, but they sided with the seller because he is a top-rated seller. They have not intervened to solve the problem, leaving me to deal with the dishonest seller on my own.

To make matters worse, the seller asked for extra money to remove his incorrect work. The Legiit admins did nothing about this and allowed it to happen. They did not even dare to give the seller a deadline to fix the issue. It has been over a week since I filed the dispute, and no action has been taken.

Gigs don’t even appear in search results, which makes it nearly impossible to grow. When I asked for help, the only solution offered was to buy Legiit Premium for $30/month. That’s not support—it feels like a paywall. No real assistance or flexibility was provided. New sellers deserve better treatment and fair chances to succeed without being forced into a subscription just for visibility.

Chris Walker was wonderful. Not only did he help me with my project, but came up with some very great ideas for me and my website in the future. His results are phenomenal and he is true to his word!

Legiit - very unprofessional and poor service marketplace. They trying to be fiverr copy but their staff is not well qualified for this marketplace. I think only family members of owner doing all job, like support, approvals. I lost potential client because of them.

Great marketplace for SEO and freelancer jobs. I was able to split test dozens of link providers, and those who moved the needle the most, we used over and over again. I'd personally recommend Saket or Superstar SEO's link services (niche edits, guest posts, and PBN with caution), they performed the best split tested over $50k or more in backlinks purchased.

Legiit is a great buyer experience. They create an environment where it's easy to work with the sellers on the platform. Also their customer service is super fast and helpful.
