I had to pay extra for shipping and


I had to pay extra for shipping and then when it turned up I had to pay an additional €20 for international shipping even though I paid for it initially. In essence I ended up paying almost the same amount for shipping (£35) that I did for the goods (£38).

We understand that the additional €20 for import duties was unexpected and may have been frustrating. Due to the UK no longer being in the EU customs union, import duties are now a necessary part of shipping to European countries from the UK. We want to clarify that the initial shipping fee you paid covers the cost of getting your order to your country, but it does not include any import duties or taxes that may be imposed by your country's customs authorities.
