“Never a lender nor a borrower be” has always been my mantra, so the idea of a loan beyond a mortgage has always filled me with great anxiety. However, when I needed to borrow some cash to invest in a smart and sustainable heating system, I was so grateful to discover Lendology CIC. Really lovely and helpful advisors who guided me through every step of the process, and the approval of a low interest loan, has put my mind at rest about borrowing, particularly as there are no fees for early repayment. My loan helped me out at a really difficult time. The process was really straightforward and the staff very helpful. Five star service.
My only problem initially who was finding a reputable Tradesman who was prepared to measure up and have UPVC windows and doors made without payment or a substantial amount being paid upfront. I was not in a position to do this and many companies would not proceed on this basis.
I was lucky that I found a reputable Sole Trader who was a relative of a friend of mine who was prepared to vouch for me. I can see this as a potential stumbling block for other people and needs looking into.
