Avoid!
1. Ioccupy, Lenwell and now leaders, they keep changing their name every year to confuse tenants.
2. After I signed the contract, they changed the price and added 100 pounds per month and gave me another contract. When I confronted them about this with the contract that I had and screenshots/links of their website instead of apologizing, they rudely said if you canât afford it, we can find you something cheaper.
3. From first week before I even moved in, they wanted to charge me for repairs that I am not responsible for, when I confronted them and asked for the inventory list. They removed the charges and could not provide me with inventory list.
4. Appliances all over the house are broken and they refuse to fix it like dryer and washing machine, broken glass door, broken door to house, broken boiler by ignoring the calls and emails sent to them.
5. No heater or hot water for 3 weeks and last time I called I get told in an indirect way to p**s off by Jasmine.
6. During lockdown one of their agents (malik) entered the house without permission at 6pm with no PPE so he could show the property for a new customer. And then he entered by mistake without knocking on one of the residentâs room while he was sleeping thinking that he moved out, which showed complete disregard of lockdown rules and respect to the safety of the residents.
7. In case of emergency there is no number to call, for example the boiler and hot water broke down and was not fixed for over 3 weeks which made me sick leading to self-isolation and missing 10 days from work.
8. They entered my room without my permission for what they claim is ââessential maintenanceââ when I was away at work, and I have valuable stuff missing.
9. As a professional who deals with over 150 customers per day, I am very surprised about their lack communication skills (extremely bad manners), I thought the issue is with me or itâs a case of racism, but I found other residents complaining about the same issue, so I have blocked their number to avoid future conflicts of them being rude over the phone.
10. I managed to find another property to save my life and career, but they refused to give references by not answering phone or email.
Conclusion
They have very good properties in excellent locations, but their incompetence and bad manners and lack of maintenance or repairs are too bad that you should avoid dealing with them.
If you decide you still want to deal with them, take a very good look at the place before paying and test every appliance and equipment before moving in and if something major is broken like a door or window donât move in or pay before its fixed, because they donât provide an inventory list and they will charge you for everything that is broken when you are leaving.
Google reviews are misleading because they are all positive reviews if you check other websites you will find people complaining about the same things.
