I completed the Cert IV WHS. In hindsight, it was hard to stay disciplined during self-paced study, with lots of things happening in my personal life. I would have gave up, had it not been for Robyn.... もっず芋る

We signed up in 2019 and had some


We signed up in 2019 and had some extenuating circumstances with the birth of our twins being in regional WA. LET Training were very accommodating and supportive throughout the entire process. The trainer was skilled and offered support throughout the entire course when we needed it.

Overall I think they’re a definite 4.5 out of 5.

Would definitely use them again for my training.

Started Cert IV in WHS

Started Cert IV in WHS and setting me up online was easy and straightforward I received lots of helpful tips throughout the process and they were always there to communicate with which made it great.

The trainers were very helpful, the training materials really flowed in alignment with the assessments.

Pretty good all round, I would say.

Even after extenuating circumstances


Even after extenuating circumstances they refused to refund. Every time i requested to speak to the Management team they were either out of the office or on another call. They are just a money hungry company with no compassion for anyone. Would not recommend.

EDIT. thanks for the reply but the correspondence actually dates back to November but in tune with your company you dont read emails. After reading the other reviews I'm not suprised by your cold hearted responses seem as though you are also giving the run around to a war veteran. So thank you again for being nothing but heartache. Also my course was not actually even started so zero work from your tutors had been utilised. So what was my money actually spent on that you can't refund?

Thank you for your feedback and review.

We understand that you have been unable to commit to your course due to personal reasons. We care about you and have offered our support by placing your course on hold, until you are ready to recommence with the full course term.

Your request for a refund was received in June 2021, after 12 months of enrolment (enrolled on 11th June 2020) due to a change of personal circumstance. At this time, we had provided the learning resources, trainer support and other supports included in your course; unfortunately, a refund was unable to be processed according to our refund policy agreed by you upon your enrolment registration.

We are sorry that your request for refund is declined, however, LET Training team is willing to help with your course completion once you are ready to start your course again.

Great training institution

It was a good experience. My teacher was always answering all my emails and questions. I loved the course and reading material was laid out well. Sometimes the questions asked in an assignment would need to be clarified as sometimes it wasn’t clear, but all in all, great learning experience.

Great Experience

I found LET training great with communication. The staff and the markers were really helpful. The fact that each topic didn't have a due date and I had a year to complete defiantly made working part time and being a single mum easier to manage.

LET Online Courses

The LET online course in WHS provided plenty of flexibility in the learning modules and in delivering assessments. Extremely helpful assessor who provided guidance throughout the course with candid and helpful feedback for each assessment. Thanks.
I found the organisation from Admin staff through to Assessors to be polite, very helpful and responded almost immediately to queries.
I would highly recommend LET for online studies.

My training through Let training has


My training through Let training has been a very positive experience for me. The mentoring system is fantastic, even when I had problems, the mentors helped without judging me. It is a very non-threatening experience. As I suffer from anxiety this approach was perfect. It took me a long time to actually enroll but once I spoke to my mentor I felt supported. I would definitely refer others to train or retrain through Let Training.

Supportive

Supportive, interactive and proactive with offering help and assistance.

Con: practical assessments are confusing. Questions are vague. I had to email my trainer many times to understand what’s required in many sections of the assessments

Let training review

I have been reluctant to write this review and I have only done so to promote some thought to enhancing/correcting the course.
The training package got off to a bad start in that it became apparent that quite a number of questions were poorly written. The use of the term "How would you" leads to any answer being correct as it would be how I would do it, yet that was not the case.
The questions not only require interpretation to answer, you quite often need to second guess the interpretation of the assessor as well. I do have a certificate "Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills" (TAELLN411) but I wonder if the author of this program does. I believe my command of "English" is better than average but I despair for anyone who has English as a second language.
My assessor has been patient and given good direction, but I would suggest that they try not to slip into condescension. I have read the information concerning the unit that I am currently attempting and find that a number of questions have been written as statements and therefore the answers may be a bit of a guess. As well it seems a bit convoluted and confusing. It is pleasing that we have three submissions.
Finally, I registered for the course because I was told that it recognized "Victorian" Legislation more than most. In this module we seem to have forgotten that idea.

Feedback

Assessment 1 is only available on line & content covers the module. This does not allow you to read the module to locate the answers & then complete on line.
Many of the assessment questions are not clear enough that you are second guessing there meaning & at times you feel like you are second guessing the assessor interpretation of the question. The learning modules are not definitive enough to provide
Direction in answering the question.
The provided scenarios are too limited & do not provide enough information to answer some questions. The option of using the Victorian legislation is very limited & I question the usefulness of the course in Victoria. Many of the questions refer only to WHS.
Due to these issues it seems that you are better off submitting your first assessment in a cursory fashion & then work with the assessor comments just so you can get the motivation to continue with the course

Constructive feedback

I find the reading material easy enough to understand, however when it comes to the assessment material, the layout of what is required can be over complicated making in confusing to get a clear understanding of what is required.

Your workbooks and Learning Modules are


Your workbooks and Learning Modules are easy to read and understand. My assessments are marked very quickly and results returned within a day of being submitted. Webnairs are also another great tool to use for learning and assessments.
