The light kits are really great but missing an essential item.
The light kits are really great. The new 2.0 are the absolute best product for LEGO lighting. However, I’ve only rated in at 4 stars because I really think for the price these kits should all come with at least with a battery box so you can use it without having to buy a bunch of usb ports. Every other light kit out there does come with a battery box, so I can’t give 5 stars without one.

Disappointing, instructions not available as advertised
Very disappointed as I bought the 41843 Christmas Tree set due to it having been advertised as 'Light As You Build' which is perfect for my family as we build it together. However having received the product and sat down together, the downloaded instructions say 'coming soon' to the light as you build. This is false advertising, why isn't this noted on the website?

Would definitely recommend LMB 2.0!!!!
The instructions are clear and I think, the staff are realising that not ‘everything’ needs to be lit. Because that was taking away the fun of the Lego building experience, but while building the Italian Riviera I have only placed one lighting part so far, so I’m really enjoying the Lego building experience. I would highly recommend Light My Bricks. Have tried other lighting companies but always come back to them.
