I recently bought a new Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS from Lings in Ipswich. I found Lucious to be really friendly and helpful and the whole experience was drama free. I'm obviously hoping the after sales is as good so will report back after the first service! I really love the bike, though why Triumph supplied mine without rear pillion footpegs is still a mystery...

I brought a motorbike from Lings and…
I brought a motorbike from Lings and the front Tyre needed changing. I contacted then and they confirmed a booking with me. I rode upto them only to be told it wasn't in. I waited for 3 hours and still not there. They told me they would contact me when it gets in and here we are again over a week and still haven't heard anything .😡

As part of your purchase, we agreed to replace the front tyre and, at your request, arranged for this to be completed after collection of the motorcycle. Unfortunately, on the day of your original appointment, the tyre delivery was delayed due to circumstances outside of our control, despite having been ordered in advance. We appreciate this caused inconvenience and apologised at the time.
Since then, our team has made several attempts to contact you to arrange a new appointment, and we are pleased that a suitable date has now been agreed for the work to be completed.
We understand your frustration with the delay and apologise for the inconvenience caused. We look forward to completing the tyre replacement and resolving the matter for you.

After a long wait (3 months) I received my new bike and I am very pleased with it. The process to get it was very frustrating as dates for delivery kept changing and were very vague at best. Leon did his best but I don’t think the dealership was kept fully informed as to delays etc.

Triumph scrambler 400 xc
I recently purchased a Triumph Scrambler 400 XC from Lings Ipswich, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish.
The team at Lings Ipswich were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt confident in my purchase without any pressure.
The bike itself is fantastic—exactly what I was hoping for—and it was presented in perfect condition. What really stood out, though, was the delivery service. It was smooth, well-organized, and right on time. The handover was thorough, and everything was clearly explained.
Overall, I’m very pleased with both the bike and the service I received. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lings Ipswich to anyone considering their next motorcycle purchase.

Great service from Lings
I purchased a used Tiger 900 from lings Suffolk Triumph in Ipswich
I was looked after by Leon, and from start to finish nothing was to much trouble. His attention to detail was second to none. If fact all of the staff I came in contact with were very helpful and friendly.
Very pleased with the bike and service received would certainly recommend Lings to anyone looking for a new bike

Lings offered an excellent buying experience. At no point was there any hard sell, no pressure to buy accessories or finance products and fantastic post sales communications. This is the way to build customer advocacy and loyalty.

Very happy with my bike, However!
Very happy with my bike.
Staff are very friendly and enthusiastic.
However, there is a total lack of professionalism. When you ask for someone to contact you, when something is supposed to be done, don't expect it to happen or if you ask for your MOT reminder to be corrected, so you don't get a reminder after it's due date. That doesn't happen either. Parts ordering is vague too.
It feels like the regular staff have gone sick and they've called in the Saturday kids In to run the place.

Happy with branch staff, had a few hiccups that have been dealt with , bike itself had a few minor issues,but now i will deal with them myself, as this was partly my own fault for not examining the vehicle thoroughly,

Purchased a bike from Lings December…
Purchased a bike from Lings December 2023 no problem's and was asked if I wanted to buy a extra years warranty which I declined because I couldn't afford the extra cost at that time but was told that I could purchase the extra years warranty when i was ready in the future so November 27th 2025 rings Lings up to extend warranty i was told they couldn't extend it, i had 4 or 5 catch up calls from Lings over the years with them saying no problem just give us a call when your ready to extend your warranty and we will sort it out for you .
I asked to speak to the manager who just fobbed me off when I was asking questions and then hung up on me when I said that I wasn't happy and was going to put my experience on their website.
Very unhappy with Lings which is a shame because everything was good before this happened.
