After reviewing the call in question, it seems there was a misunderstanding. Our agent was simply informing you that she would call back at another time to speak with our usual contact, as you are not our normal point of contact.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We only took control of this profile at the end of May 2024. We requested further information from you to establish the legitimacy of this review but have not yet received a reply.

However because complaints like this are extremely rare we have been able to identify you just from your first name. Your company sent us an email comparing our product with a product you found online. Although the cartridges can look similar the product you supplied a picture of is a different specification. If you look closely it only had a fraction of the impressions so instead of getting cartridges for 8 times cheaper you were actually paying more per impression. Don’t worry you not the first person to miss this.

The other thing which you would not have been expected to spot is the stock movement on the product on the website your referred to. Even though there are fewer impressions the website is only selling 2 to 3 cartridges per month which means the stock they were holding had been on their shelves since before the Covid 19 pandemic. We regularly replenish our stock so our customers know that they are not buying stock with reduced shelf life.

The red flag you mention is also incorrect. If you call our inbound line you will hear short introductory message and then you will be transferred to a live agent. This is one of the many things that helps differentiate us from our competitors.

Please note that we have recently taken control of this profile in May2024 and this review is from July 2021.

We were able to identify Nicola through an inbound email and a 5-star Google review for her current employer. After conducting a thorough investigation, we could not find any instances of Nicola or anyone at her company placing an order with us.

When we informed Nicola of this, she mentioned that 15 years ago, the Managing Director at her former employer placed an order. However, once again, we could not find any record of such an instance.

It appears there is a misalignment between the perception of our sales process and our actual procedures. Employing the described practices would not sustain a business for 30 years, nor would it ensure successful transactions. Furthermore, 15 years ago, there were companies employing such tactics, but these companies no longer exist.

The only conclusion we can draw is that this is a case of mistaken identity. While we welcome feedback, maintaining a respectful and constructive dialogue helps us address concerns more effectively and ensures a positive environment for all users. Therefore, we kindly ask Nicola to review and remove any defamatory language from her review.

We have been in business for 30 years and have systems in place to protect both our clients and our team. We make hundreds of thousands of calls per year, and incidents are very rare; in fact, yours was the only complaint we received in 2020.

We investigated this incident and found it to be quite unique. The issue began in December 2019 when our employee contacted the Parking division of your organisation and spoke with the users of the franking machine, discussing potential savings. He received a positive response and asked to speak with the decision-maker, which led to him being transferred to you in the Banking division. Unfortunately, you were unavailable, so he scheduled a callback for the New Year.

When he called back in the New Year, again via the Parking division, he was put through to you. From his notes, he mistakenly believed he had spoken with you previously, which understandably caused confusion and irritation. The employee, who was fairly inexperienced at the time, struggled to handle the situation properly. We believe that if a more experienced agent had handled the call, this problem would not have occurred. The call ended awkwardly, though for transparency, he did not hang up abruptly.

Using the practices described would not sustain a business for 30 years, nor would it ensure successful transactions.

We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our training, ensuring a better experience for our customers and prospects while also protecting our employees from these situations. We value the opportunity to improve and strive to make our processes better.
