Ordered $60+ worth of yarn and was sent the wrong yarn filed a claim online says it shouldn’t be long to process it’s been almost 8 days with no movement yet for my missing yarn …. No way to view an update or to contact anyone regarding my claim. I have commission projects on hold because of this mistake

Love the Lion Brand, I have used several variety’s, the Truboo is the softest and it works perfectly for baby dresses, which is my kick at this time.

I have been having e mails from Lion Brand for some time. But, it is almost impossible to buy anything other than the yarn or a kit! I tend to buy yarn when I see something I like, and then buy a pattern to use the yarn. I have been doing this for years, and therefore do not need a kit!!!! I have everything else I need. Don't think I will continue with Lion Brand.

I ordered from them over 2 months ago and my yarn still hasn't shipped. I reached out a month ago asking when it would ship, and they basically gave me no information. after 2 months had passed I emailed them asking to cancel and refund my order, and they refused. Do not order from them.

Easy website to use, pricing is good, received my order promptly. Can’t wait to start my project.

Wish I would’ve actually received my order!! Apparently they ship through Amazon now and even though my address is correct it was deemed undeliverable and sent back over two weeks ago. I have yet to receive a refund on either kit ordered!! Disappointed to say the least!!

I love the yarn, but I don’t love the company and their shipping policies and their religious holidays. They don’t tell anybody about and you’re sitting here waiting for two weeks to get your yarn. I don’t approve of any of that but the yarn is good.

The company has zero customer service. I have a shipping problem and cannot contact anyone. Do I really need to charge it back on the credit card? Shameful!

I ordered over close to $300 in yarn and patterns the end of May. Finally, I have received an email that states my products will ship out, but from a reseller at Orchard Yarns on Amazon. They said it was packed and ready to go 4 days ago (the 5th of June). Now, I get an email saying I'll get it on the 11th from Amazon. I wrote to customer service and was promptly dismissed. I had given them the order number and that I was unaware they outsourced their orders to resellers. I let them know I wasn't happy with how long it was taking me to get the very expensive order. This is their response:

I made the purchase through Lion Brand and gave the order number which they didn't even bother to research. I did NOT purchase through Amazon. I also sent them a screen shot of the Lion Brand email they sent me with shipping information. I was ghosted. I will go through other companies for yarn from now on. I love Lion Brand but this did it for me. Try Knit Pro, Linde Hobbie for great European yarns, Jimmie Beans and or the variety of local sellers and crafters in your area. If you have to go retail, Hobby Lobby has a great variety of yarns as well.

This company is ridiculous. I ordered 6 of the same skeins of yarn that the website claims is in stock. A week later, it still hasn’t shipped. I requested a refund, and somehow they can’t do so. It’s suck in limbo where it can’t be cancelled but also can’t be shipped? Unacceptable.

I really don’t appreciate that when I’m in the middle of a project their yarn has tied ends within the skein. The tails aren’t long enough to weave into my project leaving a highly visible knot that takes away from the beauty of the product.

I LOVE Lion Brand Touch of Linen yarn. I have knit many placemats using TOL, and they have been very warmly received.
All my Lion Brand orders have been correct, and the yarn was delivered in a timely manner. Quality yarn at an affordable price. I have only knit placemats with TOL so can’t speak to its quality for other projects, For placemats I suggest knitting with a double strand for a sturdy result.
Only complaint - few color choices

I love Lion Brand yarn. I try to use it for most of my projects and feel it is very good quality. I do want to say that I have tried the cotton ‘Re up’ that is recycled—the colors are beautiful but it does split/thread separation, mostly with smaller crochet hook. Otherwise love it.

I love the color of this yarn & the softness of it. It i sone of my favorites.

I absolutely hate this yarn company. I have wasted so much money, time and energy. This brand is always knotted. Tangled, splitting and just plain old annoying. There have been cheaper brands and way more expensive brands that I have loved to work with. I literally just threw away 8 skeins of lion brand yarn. Not because it was old in-fact they were brand new. I am livid about tha decision to throw away, but my peace of mind is more valuable. Never EVER will I purchase anything from this company.

Love the colors and 24/7 cotton yarn is my favorite yarn to use.💗💗💗

Don’t buy from the website. I ordered a kit, knowing one color wasn’t available. When the package arrived, I didn’t get 3 skeins of red and 2 of beige. They sent me 3 skeins of beige AND overcharged me. I’ll never buy from the company website again.

The selection is great, the site is easy to use and the deliveries are quick!

The website was easy to navigate. There is a great choice of yarns. I like the way the yarns lined up on the order screen so I could see what I had. It was simple to remove the yarn I didn't want and replace the skein with one that worked better.
