Order cancelled without explanation
I purchased a product, and then several days later my order was cancelled without any explanation or apology. Frustrating!

Poor communication
Order sent, progress checked, account said processing. This status didn't change, checked several times. No change. Checked reviews many poor. About to reorder a cheaper one from another supplier when the order arrived with no notification. Poor communication but satisfied with the conclusion.

Since taking over this business a short while ago we have gained mostly lovely and positive reviews and some unfortunate ones where we have had some teething problems / technical issues but as a new business we strive to learn from these errors.

Good afternoon Jayne, I have just checked on your order and i can see your order was dispatched this morning, We have had a bit of a delay from a supplier with a delivery arriving to us which has had a knock on effect to a few customers with their orders arriving in a timely manner. Your order will arrive with you tomorrow via DHL. You should receive the tracking information shortly from them with an estimated delivery time. Short delivered and still awaiting response
After ordering a 10L tub of Slug Gone I only received 5L. Emailed over a week ago to ask if additional 5L tub can be sent but as of today, no reply

I have just checked on your order and i can see you have been partially refunded for the missing 5L of your order. Unfortunately our supplier seems to have a shortage of slug items at the moment, we were waiting for a delivery of them but it was cancelled at the last minute as the stock didn't arrive in for them to ship it to us, so a refund was issued to you as there would be a long delay getting this to you.
My apologies for this and any inconvenience caused.

The products came too late for the event I needed them for, they took one week delivery time. There was no indication when I ordered them how long delivery would take.
Products good, as described.

Having had a reply from the company I am upgrading this review, as I hadn't noticed information on the website about the 4 days' dispatch time. After taking that into consideration, I feel the rest of the experience was efficient and as peviously stated, the products are fine, as described.

I have just checked on your order and i can see it was dispatched out within the timescale provided on our website which is 4 working days (the majority of the time this is much quicker but if we are waiting for a delivery we say 4 working days just encase) then the 48 hour royal mail delivery time for light items. Please let us know if you would like to return them if they are no longer of use i will happily get that arranged for you and a refund issued, if you send an email to accounts@littlefieldsfarm.com i can pick that up. Our sincerest apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

Good morning Terence, i am so sorry you have been having trouble getting in contact via telephone we must be experiencing some technical issues. I will get this looked into as we had the same thing happen last week.
I can see your items were dispatched last week but they have been held up with DHL for some reason, i will speak with them to see what happened but in the meantime i have had some more dispatched for you and are now with the courier and they will arrive with you tomorrow.

Good morning Catherine, i am sorry you have had issues getting through to someone. We have had some staff holidays so we have spent a lot of time in the warehouse getting orders out, we are a small family run business with a small team. I can see you ordered on the 29/6 and your order was dispatched via royal mail on the 02/07 so well within our outlined dispatch times. I have checked the delivery time and it will arrive with you on 06/07 between 12:17pm - 4:17pm. Please bare in mind as you are over in Ireland royal mail can take a little longer getting to you.

Poor delivery times, poor communication
Ordered 2 items on 8th June. One item arrived 3 days after order. No sign of the second item. No correspondence from the seller. Sent an email, no response. Tried a different email. Eventually got a response on 19th June saying the item had now been dispatched (no explanation, no apology). Item eventually arrived on 23rd June. Not impressed with the service and won't buy from this shop again.

Good morning Lucie, i am so sorry you have had a bad experience. I have just checked on your order and i can see it was dispatched a while back now so you should have received it. I have just logged on to check the status of your order and i can see the parcel is being held with DHL ( this usually means they have lost it.) I will chase this now to see what has happened (this has also happened to another customer) but in the meantime i have had another feeder dispatched for you and it has been collected by the courier and it will arrive with you tomorrow. Tracking information should come to you later on.

The items were incredibly well packaged…
The items were incredibly well packaged and arrived promptly. They are good quality (we bought kilner half pint and diddy bottles) and we love them. Great for an excess made from smoothies. We also bought pyrex glass dishes with lids which are great for storing anything really. Very secure lid.
