Loan Depot has been awesome to work with when my husband, who had worked 2 Full Time jobs for 17 years
(I had worked 39 years as an RN till injury forced me onto disability) suddenly became ill and was hospitalized the first 7 months of 2025. We had only my disability check coming in for income during this time which wasn’t enough to pay our mortgage (we had had for 23 years) and all our other bills. Following discharge he was unable to even move his own legs in the bed and totally unable to walk. I applied for his disability and it was approved in under 1 month due to the exigent circumstances we were in, thankfully. But 1 disability does not equal 2 full time checks as an RN which he was. So I contacted Loan Depot early in his hospitalization and they immediately suggested a forbearance for 3 months. All I had to do was explain the circumstances to them. They continued extending the forbearance for a year and now they have offered a modification of a loan! They have been truly wonderful to work with! Always expressing concern for him and a desire to help! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Loan Depot!

Roxanne and the team at LoanDepot were excellent in helping us navigate buying our first home. She was very willing and open to answering questions and was always prompt with responses. Taking our loan through LoanDepot was an overall great experience for a process that many dread going through.

Representative was very argumentative when I was trying to convey to him what my goals were for the home equity loan. What topped it off, he ran a hard credit report without my consent. I was just trying to get a preliminary quote on interest rates and the amount of equity I could qualify to borrow.

Excellent communication through the entire process. Their online dashboard was very simple and easy to navigate. My loan was completed and closed in less than 40 days.

I had the opportunity to work with Marshall and Desiree with Loan Depot on a project for a 3rd party homeowner. I was very skeptical on how this would turn out from the start. I must say, Loan Depot exceeded my expectations in all areas, from the initial communications to the payment and follow-up.
I recommend Loan Depot for anyone wanting to work with a loan company as that delivered.

Loan depot makes it easy to go through the entire mortgage and refinance process. Very clean Communication and UI and amazing support available if you have any questions.

Toy and her team came in and save my deal. Everything was processed in a timely manner. They treated me like a person and not a number like other banks did.

The agent was very friendly and worked hard to get our loan approved we did have to go through a lot of red tape though. I was told that in order to get the loan approved they would have to pay off my 2 Capital One Credit Cards one was my Business card and the other one was on a structured payment plan. I asked if the one on the payment plan I was able to negotiate a lower payoff they would send 2 new checks one to Capital One for the negotiated price and one to me for the difference that took alot of back and forth to get that taken care of after 3 weeks

Dan originated the loan was very nice to deal with. Interest rate was not competitive though. After closing received checks to pay off debtors quick. But escrow for Home owners insurance has been a nightmare and still ongoing…! Also whoever LoanDepots partners with, or who they share my personal information with etc has been relentless. Constant solicitation via mail, texts, messages, scams etc..

I received a cold call offering terms to refinance. As an existing client I expected the process to be very simple considering I've always paid the mortgage without issue. It was not. After proving my income, sharing my life investments accounts, retirement accounts, etc. we agreed to terms. One of the MAJOR benefits for even doing the refinance was because I was told we would not have to bring money to the closing table, AND I would be able to skip two months of payments. Neither has happened. The night prior to closing, I got a call telling me they discovered LTV would be too high, so I would need to bring 8K to closing. They had the appraisal, knew the loan costs, but didn't realize until the night before closing that there was an issue? I let them know I wouldn't be closing under those terms. It was at this time that they let me know I would have an escrow refund of about $2,200. After a few days of going back and forth I let them know I was willing to bring that 2,200 to the closing table because theoretically that would be coming back to me in a refund. The final day to make my mortgage payment was approaching. I explained if we were going to close it needed to be asap. I didn't want to make my mortgage payment, miss out on the 2 months of payment relief, AND still pay the 2,200 at closing. On the final day for me to pay they went radio silent. No communication. No confirmation we were on track. Nothing. I made my mortgage payment and moved on. What followed was harassment by phone. I received multiple calls and text with shady sales tactics to try and force me into closing. After ignoring them for long enough they magically came back with improved rates and closing terms. I finally closed because although the whole experience was poor, I accomplished what I needed to accomplish. I recently received noticed that my escrow refund was ready. The lump sum was $177. Not the $2,200 that was quoted. I sent an email to my rep 10 days ago, and I have yet to hear back. Everything was communicated through texts and emails. I have all the receipts. Looking forward to someone finally responding to me after this review.

Refuses to provide online HELOC quotes or any quotes without a soft credit check. Also a 1% fee at closing which is absurd as most lenders charge 0%. And they call you hourly if you make an inquiry. Very sleazy.

I was looking for information about a heloc loan and spoke to Aaron. It was good at first. Sent me an offer. But then he started spam calling me. Like an controlling,obsessive ex husband.5 times in 3 hours after 5pm Tuesday evening.So I told him to call me. I cussed him out. His response? 1. I didn't talk to him since Friday. 2. All companies spam calls. 3. Has anyone told me my ringtone sounds like my phone number has been cancelled? I wish I was joking.4. Most customers accept the offer the second day. I am telling you something is off with him. LoanDepot is not a good company to do business with when they have psychos like Aaron on the loose

I like to thank Loandepot for lending me the money and helping me manage my money deat. I'd like to especially thank Lyndse Thomas being so patience with me filing all the paperwork and directing me though the operation of my phone. She made it so easy and I probably couldn't have completed it without her help. If in the future, atlease I know where to get the help I need. Thanks again Loandepot.
