My experience of London City Smiles is on the whole very positive. The only negative is the encouragement to use the dental hygienist even if you can’t afford it. Isn’t dental cleaning still part of a dentist’s job?

I can recommend Dr Meera Vekaria and hygienist Irina wholeheartedly. I've been to a lot of dentists in my life, some good some not so good, but these two women I trust completely. Very happy. Haven't been as thrilled with some others in the practice but these two enjoy their work, are very professional and are friendly to boot. And always happy to explain and share info.

I am a nervous patient who has required complex restorative and cosmetic dental surgery over a long period of time. Finding Dr Vekaria - and his predecessor Dr Parek - at London City Smiles was transformational. Not only have they earned my trust and respect, they have enabled me to have treatment that has conserved and enhanced my teeth long past the point where once I might have needed dentures. I cannot praise them highly enough.

London City Smiles has some of the friendliest staff I have ever encoutered in a dental practice. My dentist is always beaming and happy and is very solution orientated when it comes to solving any concerns I have over my treatment.
My only critique would be the length of time between check ups. I am currently having Invisalign treatment through the practice and I am currently on my third refinements and beginning my third year of what I was told would be a 6-9 month procedure.
I feel that if I had more appointments (every 4 weeks maybe) then filing to allow movement and any other issues that would be interrupting progression would be picked up and dealt with.
I repeat that the staff are absolutely lovely but I feel disillusioned having spent more on Invisalign with the information that it would be quicker only to be still wearing them just over 2 years later. Braces would have been quicker and probably with more appointments to monitor progress

I would certainly recommend the practice. I have experienced great customer service so far.

Excellent – I would recommend this dental surgery to anyone.

I had invisalign braces put on a few years ago. At the beginning I was told the approximate duration of the braces but that if my teeth had not moved enough this duration would be extended. At the end of this duration I felt my teeth had not moved enough but I felt I was pressured into stopping there and not continuing until the result was perfect. I am not sure why. Following this the inside retainers came off my front teeth and had to be reattached which is fine but they came off again. I have since been told that this is because the teeth had not moved enough into line prior to the retainer being fixed. I had booked in to go and see my orthodontist again but the first time the wrong time was given to me and the second time I called to say I was running late and was told it would be ok to take another time later that day as there had been cancellations from other patients. I still could have made my appointment but would have been about 5 minutes late. I did not receive a call back for another slot despite this having been told to me when I had called. So I was annoyed when I tried to book another appointment and LondonCitySmiles told me that I would need to pay a cancellation fee as the error could have been argued to have lain with LondonCitySmiles and not myself. At this time I decided to cease my relationship with LondonCitySmiles and find a new orthodontist to fix my teeth. As a proposed solution I would say that LCS should obtain feedback at regular intervals after the invisalgn braces are removed to ensure there are no problems and also offer a flexible approach to re-booking for appointments if the error sits with themselves.

Very good service but non-NHS treatments are unfortunately overpriced.
