I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I waited nearly a month for my order, and after requesting a refund, I have now been waiting almost another month without receiving my money. Despite being told that the refund would be processed shortly, no funds have been credited to my account.
The lack of communication and excessive delay are unacceptable. I expect businesses to take responsibility and handle refunds promptly. Unfortunately, this has not been the case here.

Do Not Order you have been warned this is a complete scam ! He will take your money then not deliver promise refunds which are never paid had to get charge back from bank. I will be reporting to trading standards too this guy should not be permitted to run a scam business.

We are extremely disappointed with our recent order (Order #64764).

The lamb brains were poorly packaged in foam trays wrapped in foil instead of proper plastic containers, which caused them to arrive squashed and completely unusable.

On top of that, the bones were delivered as two large, uncut pieces. They should have been cut in half, as it is not reasonable to expect customers to cut through thick bones at home. This made them impossible to use.

The overall quality, packaging, and preparation were unacceptable. This was our first time ordering from this company, and unfortunately, it will also be our last.

We would not recommend buying from them.

Absolutely dreadful!!! Do not order from this company, refunds takes forever and communication is absolutely vile! I’m so angry with this company and STILL sitting on no response !

I ordered veg in December for Christmas - it was not delivered - they informed me at the last minute on 23rd Dec they would not deliver. I was promised a refund. It is now February and despite many many emails I still have not received a refund. Do not use this company. I wish I had read the other reviews saying exactly same thing.

Rotten, out of date, meat delivered five days late. The smell opening the box was putrid & hideous.
Ordered well in advance (16th Dec) for a Christmas Eve delivery.
Both courier (DPD) and this supplier apologised- yet a month on- no refund or compensation received.

Writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent order. If it were possible to assign a rating of zero or even a negative score, I would certainly do so.
I placed an order for Halal Grass‑Fed Fresh Lamb Marrow Bones along with vegetables (beetroots and okra). The order was expected to be delivered within five days. However, after more than three weeks, I received only a small box containing poor‑quality, uncut lamb marrow bones. None of the vegetables have been delivered as of today, 26 January 2026.
I contacted the company several times via email, and at the end of October I received a response stating that the matter was being looked into. Since then, I have not received any further communication or resolution.
I subsequently opened a dispute with PayPal, providing clear evidence—including photographs of the box contents and images showing the discrepancy between the advertised products and what was delivered. To my surprise, PayPal resolved the case in favour of the seller solely on the basis that they provided proof of delivery, despite the photographic evidence I submitted clearly demonstrating the issue.

I'm bitterly disappointed with this company. They emailed me at 1120 pm the night before delivery was due to tell me they could not deliver my order of a party size cheesecake for my husband's surprise birthday dinner. What am I supposed to do now!!!!! I await their refund - I wonder how long that will take. Lesson learned - will never order from them again.

Ordered £50 worth of fruit to be delivered 23rd December. Had an email to say it would be delayed but delivered on the 24th. Nothing turned up and now I’m not getting anywhere with a refund, just empty promises that I will get my money back but I’m still waiting and now they are not responding to my messages.
I would strongly advise not to use this company.

Placed order which was confirmed. Noticed the shipping costs seemed to be overly high. Chased after a few days, and seller said sorry, can't fulfil, expect a refund. Chased refund after 4 weeks. Seller promised refund in 5 days. When it didn't arrive, I raised a dispute/claim with PayPal which was settled immediately in my favour, so it seems this company is known to them, Avoid. (EDIT: Trustpilot have asked me to add further details to prove this review is genuine. There is nothing I can add to what I have written.)

Terrible. Had over £100 worth of fresh fish booked to be delivered on Christmas Eve (their advertising pushes hard for you to "Book your Christmas delivery now!"). Planned my entire Christmas family event around this food, including all the other ingredients sourced from other places to compliment and create the fish dishes. Everyone was very excited for it.

Delivery never arrived. Raised complaint. The company acknowledged but then no further response.

Intended to chase this up today (over three weeks later!) but checked here and realized I was probably wasting my time. Charged back with my bank instead.

Pointless and depressing waste of time. Avoid.

I ordered beef organ meat and oysters. The products arrived two days late. The label on the meat had no use by date and there was also no label and no use by date on the oysters. The oysters were OPEN - meaning dead and needed to be discarded. The absence of food labelling with a use by date is in contravention of regulation 20 of the Food Labelling Regulations 1996

This is, without question, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

I ordered fresh duck from LondonGrocery.net for delivery the week before Christmas. I was told the order had been shipped, yet the company could not provide any tracking details. Shortly afterwards, they admitted — blaming a “technical error” — that the order had not been shipped at all.

Because I was away over Christmas and could not accept delivery, I requested a refund. I was told this would be processed within 3–5 working days.

That was 18 days ago.

I have since followed up multiple times and was again told that finance would process the refund in another 3–5 days. Nothing happened. Instead, I received repeated excuses about “bank processing times”, which simply do not hold up.

The issue here is not the money — it is the pattern of misinformation, delays, and broken promises.

I am equally disappointed in myself for not reading the reviews beforehand, because the feedback here and on Facebook is remarkably consistent: poor service, unreliable fulfilment, and refunds that do not materialise without persistent chasing.

Based on my experience, this company is dishonest in its communication, unreliable in its operations, and cannot be trusted to resolve issues once they arise.

My recommendation is simple: avoid, avoid, avoid.

Would give it 0 stars if it were possible, Had ordered a Chocolate fudge cake for a birthday, wrong item was delivered (Also damaged and squashed) When I tried getting in contact, No one answers any calls, no reply on WhatsApp just gets left on read and no reply on emails, Will now be taking this further as it's been 3 months

Ordered turkey for the 24th December- got an email the night before saying they had swapped it for goose - without consent and no regard for allergies - this company needs reporting to health and safety as well as trading standards. Called and emailed loads of times - no response other that one text saying “sorry - merry Christmas” the cheek of them to say this … never ordering again

Excellent company , ordered for 23rd Dec but courier didn’t deliver . They chased the order & contacted me on Xmas day to make sure I was happy ! Very impressed , will definitely order again !

A big shout out to out to the agent who eventually handled my problem. I get the feeling that they are swimming against the tide of a less than user-friendly system. I had a delivery scheduled, but the tracking page didn’t work. There was no text from DPD. The WhatsApp chatbot was very limited. And there was no phone number on the website or reply to an email query. The WhatsApp number went to voicemail. The first contact with an agent didn’t seem like there was a human there. No names or niceties. But, after that, things improved. And a very helpful person provided tracking details, just as the package arrived. Suggest the company makes life easier for customers and staff alike

Extremely helpful with questions and so easy to order . Delivering was spot on also !!

I got delivery tomahawk the best quality of mead come all packing was all of the best quality for me mead and the delivery was fast i cook the mead today and was delicious getting more delivery now thank for the good customer service

Wish I read the comments before ordering!!!
Ordered seedless watermelons, they had seeds and also 1 had been dropped and as bruised with mush.
Also ordered a kilo of rack of lamb, very mediocre of quality.
