There was a problem whilst ordering but my suggestion for avoiding this recuring has been noted.

Un carnet magnifique et un service de grande qualité.

On a été très bien accueillis mais on aurait voulu plus d’explications sur les éléments qu’on choisi. L’histoire de la maison / D’où vient le cuir…/ comment il faut entretenir le cuir. Il y avait comme un ex-libris mais on ne savait pas si on pouvait l’utiliser … on a trouvé dommage que la personne qui s’est occupés de nous ne soit pas plus communiquant avec ce qui nous entourait.

What a fantastic shopping experience, even online! I was able to browse, choose, and customize my journals all from my phone. I was shocked by how quickly they arrived, but oh so happy! I’ve been loving them and using them daily. They look (and smell) divine! Amazing service!

I did my order through the video appointment and was able to customise the engravings more flexibly. It was a seamless and memorable experience. I love my Roadbook and I’ll definitely purchase more!

Mon carnet et un petit bijou que je me suis offert tout récemment, je l'ai reçu très rapidement enveloppé d'un papier de très grande qualité ce qui reflète bien la marque. Le cuir sent divinement bon et n'a aucune trace de marquage, j'ai acheté la crème d'entretien qui va avec pour en prendre soin. Je suis très heureuse de l'avoir entre mes mains j'ai hâte qu'il se patine avec le temps.
Je voulais un carnet en cuir haut de gamme qui me suivent toute ma vie et je suis ravie que ce soit mon Louise Carmen qui m'accompagne.

I bought the first journal online, but the second one I purchased from the physical store in Paris. I am very satisfied with both of my purchases. My experience at the physical store was good. Unfortunately, the wait was very long, but the staff inside were extremely helpful and, despite the incredible workload, very friendly and patient. I honestly don’t know how they managed it with the non-stop work, but that really shows their professionalism

Ik bestelde via videocall een LC Honore,
Ik kreeg aantoonbaar een ander leer dan ik had besteld. Het originele leer had wat "foutjes" in het stiksel, het leer wat ik ontving had dit niet. Ik heb de videoall deels opgenomen en heb screenshots.

Het exemplaar dat ik ontving had naast de normale nerfstructuur gebruikerssporen en patina door langdurig en veelvuldig gebruik.

Het grootste probleem is echter de gravure. Deze is uitgelopen en bijna onleesbaar. Van de 12 tekens zijn er 7 totaal verpruts. Helaas kan ik hier geen foto uploaden, dit heb ik wel gedaan bij google reviews.

Bij het benaderen van de klantenservice werd ik genegeerd. Mijn eerdere ervaringen met de klantenservice waren geduldig en meedenkend waren. Ik kreeg steeds snel antwoord. Nu er iets mis was( wat natuurlijk kan gebeuren en an sich geen probleem is) kreeg ik geen antwoord.

Na gebeld te hebben kreeg ik wel binnen een uur via de mail antwoord. Er stond dat alles binnen de norm valt. De onleesbare personalisatie was een teken van "craftmanship".

In dit licht vraag ik me af hoe ik mijn eerdere (perfect uitgevoerde LC) moet bekijken.

Daarnaast stuurde de medewerker me dat ook heftige gebruikerssporen en patina normaal zijn. Als bewijs daarvan stuurde hij foto's van de website die volgens hem gelijkwaardig waren aan mijn exemplaar.

Hiermee bevestigde hij zonder het zelf door te hebben mijn punt: De foto van een saffraankleurig notitieboek die volgens hem gelijkwaardig was aan de staat van mijn notitieboek staat op Instagram als "8month patina"

Ik vermoed dat mijn leer een paar weken gebruikt is tijdens de videocalls die LC aanbiedt om je eigen ontwerp samen te stellen.

Uiteraard heb ik gereageerd op de mail, en uiteraard blijft het stil.

Het feit dat ik aantoonbaar ander leer heb ontvangen dan geselecteerd via de videomeeting wordt volledig genegeerd.

Louise Carmen is fantastisch als je het geluk hebt dat alles mee zit. De medewerkers zijn dan echt alleraardigst en warm. Wanneer er dingen mis gaan (kan gebeuren) lijkt het alsof het klantenservice protocol tekort schiet. Je krijgt gewoon geen antwoord op je mail. Google reviews worden ook alleen beantwoord bij 4 of 5 sterren. Er lijkt geen antwoord te bestaan op dingen die mis zijn gegaan.

Alles wat verprutst is wordt ambacht genoemd. (bekijk mijn afbeeld bij de google reviews)

Ik begin me af te vragen welke ambachtslieden daar het ambacht verrichten.

Mijn kinderen knutselen ook op school. Hun werk zit ook vol imperfecties. Dat maakt ze geen ambachtslieden.

I ordered the Light Year and it came in less than a week! This was my second order and I was again so pleased with it. It’s beautifully packaged and I appreciate their efforts to use sustainable packaging. I also appreciate the extra effort to ensure I receive my order by having a ‘signature required.’ Because the shipping and tax is quite hefty, I ordered several things thinking I could hold out until I could visit in person. But that’s tough to do when the products are so tempting!! I will say that I so appreciate how swift my orders have arrived. I have ordered from other artists or stores and sadly I’m still waiting on them months later. Because it has taken so long to receive them from these other sources, I have lost the excitement. But with Louise Carmen, the orders arrive so swiftly that the excitement never wanes and I’m able to put them to good use without delay. I love this so much! Not only is it high quality and items that I cherish, but to be able to utilize them in less than a week of placing the order, is GOLDEN! I also want to thank them for adding more colorful pouches and for creating special editions or capsules. I love them and I do look forward to visiting in person someday soon!

Wonderful quality…beautiful.
I went to the store. The line was toooo long and I wasn’t feeling well so I left. I pondered. I hemmed… I hawed. On the plane ride home I decided that not getting the notebook was my only regret from my Paris trip, so with slow internet I ordered the notebook. It came so quickly.. all personalized.
I have no regrets over not going in person or doing a video EXCEPT I would still recommend you do that. I love my notebook as is.. but it’s hard to say if I might have “thought outside the box” with colors and charms.
Anyway… very happy.

Le site est intuitif avec la personnalisation poussé à fond si on le veut.
La réception du colis est top, le carnet est bien protégé avec une livraison sécurisé (ce qui rassure toujours).
Mon modèle Honoré ne me quitte plus depuis 1 mois et il répond à tout ce dont j'avais besoin. Alors pour ceux qui hésitent et qui aiment écrire. Faites-vous ce cadeau !
