I would highly recommend Lydia and LS Tuition to anyone (and often do). My 10 year old daughter loves her sessions each week and has made great progress since starting with Lydia in both literacy and maths. She regularly comments on how she finds certain things in class so much easier since she has covered the topics with Lydia. So not only has LS Tuition helped with her learning it has also increased her confidence and I feel she is far more likely to challenge herself in school now. I originally looked for a tutor for a short period prior to sitting a Private School Entrance Assessment as I thought it might help to brush up on a few things beforehand. However what we found was a lot more and we have continued on after successfully getting a place. LS Tuition offers a fun and nurturing place to learn and I love the relationship that Lydia builds with the children. My daughter literally skips in each week and I think would happily stay longer!

I cannot recommend Lydia enough. She is super professional yet kind and nurturing in the most exceptional way. We have tried franchise tutors in a group setting before working with Lydia and they simply do not compare. My daughter has really come on academically but what we have been most thankful for is seeing her confidence and enthusiasm for learning sky rocket. Lydia took time to do a thorough review of our daughter’s ability and then set her tutoring level accordingly; constantly re-assessing and adjusting where needed. Her communication with us as parents is incredible, really feels like we are a team, working to do what is best for our daughter. Our only regret is not finding her sooner. My daughter and her have really connected over the last few months, she adores Lydia and looks forward to her sessions. Can’t ask for more than that ❤️.

I cannot recommend LS tuition highly enough. My son has progressed so much in only a few months, and his school have also seen the difference in him. Lydia and Ashley are amazing, he loves his lessons and even loves his homework. Their communication with us as parents is also excellent and so important to make sure we’re all on the same page. I looked at the LS tuition website for a while before finally getting in touch and am so glad I did, we haven’t looked back.

We're so happy with our 9 year old daughter's progression since starting tutoring sessions with Ashley at LS Tuition. Her confidence has increased tenfold and her willingness to engage with reading and writing. She has gone from dreading any Literacy based activity at school to begging me to find a publisher for her first 'book' written with Ashley's encouragement! The main difference (other than the level of her reading comprehension) since startingat LS has been her enthusiasm and self confidence which is so key for her, coping in a school system which isn't always ideal for children with dyslexia. Fabulous tutors and great nurturing environment for the kids to learn in. My kids had a fabulous experience and I would highly recommend.

Lydia is a wonderful tutor for our 10-year old son. He was losing confidence at school, falling behind in maths and English and she has been helping him enjoy learning again. He loves the sessions with her, she makes it fun and gives him different ways to remember things that before felt too difficult for him. I would thoroughly recommend her tutoring.

I can't speak highly enough of LS Tuition. Our 4 year old daughter was reluctant to engage in learning at home and would easily give up if things we introduced were too difficult. After a couple of sessions it seemed like her desire to learn had been ignited, and she kept asking to learn something new. She is very keen and excited to go to her tutoring each week. What we most wanted from the sessions was for her to enjoy and want to learn. This is exactly the outcome. We are thrilled with her progress.

Throughout our daughters experience at LS Tuition, Lydia has been nurturing, kind, flexible and thoroughly professional. She has helped our daughter grow in confidence and ability, in a welcoming, happy environment. We couldn't have hoped for a better tutoring experience.

Our daughter is eight years old. After moving back to the UK we found she was significantly behind the Scottish curriculum and needed to get her up to the appropriate level for admission to school. In addition to being behind on the syllabus she also has some difficulties with learning that require additional support. We saw Lydia’s tutoring reviews and based on this approached her and had an initial consultation by phone followed by an in-person appointment for my daughter to meet her.

Our daughter loves going to Lydia. She sees her twice a week and always enjoys it and finds the lessons engaging, at the correct level and supportive. She does not come home frustrated and it has been a big help getting her settled back into a mainstream school in the UK. Lydia has helped her so much in just a few months. We’re using Lydia for reading, writing and maths tutoring.

Lydia has been great at tailoring support to match those of the exact syllabus that our daughter is learning and school and has helped to support entry process into the school as well.

We are so happy to have found Lydia to support our daughter and could not recommend her enough to anyone else. We’ve also had lessons from other tutors in LS Tuition and have found them to be equally excellent. When we’ve had to have different sessions with another tutor the handover has been great and continuity for our daughter has worked well.

Our son loves his weekly lesson with Nikki. We are seeing real progress in his reading thanks to this 121 tuition. I would happily recommend LS Tuition to anyone!

Thoroughly deserves all the stars. Our son is extremely comfortable with Lydia and has come a long way since joining the sessions.

My primary children both had gaps in their learning and Lydia was recommended by another parent. They have been going to Lydia for some months now and am so grateful for the recommendation - I really can't rate her highly enough! From the first time they met her, my children both said they couldn't wait to go back. She is fun, caring and her experience and learning techniques are incredible. My children have come on so much in such a short period of time that I'm confident that, with her continued support, they'll be fine at school!

After missing quite a bit of learning in P6 due to the pandemic, my daughter was starting to lose confidence in her ability particularly in Maths. Lydia has helped my daughter so much in her Maths skills but also in her confidence. Lydia is kind, fun and a great teacher and my daughter really enjoys her sessions.

Lydia’s lessons are a highlight of our daughter’s week! She’s made fantastic progress in her literacy and reading, and her confidence and enjoyment of the sessions is amazing to see. Lydia is a wonderful tutor; patient, encouraging and fun! I also really appreciate the support she gives me as a parent, she’s very open and always happy to discuss any questions or queries. I’m so glad we found her!

Lydia has supported both my children massively. Lydia helped with my son's transition back to school post-pandemic and really helped rebuild his confidence in his ability.

Also when my little one started school she was struggling with her focus due to missing so much nursery. Lydia has not only helped her but assured me everything we are experiencing is not a cause for concern, which is a massive relief.
