Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction and would like to address your concerns comprehensively. Our priority is always to resolve matters fairly and provide a positive experience for every customer.

Regarding the Zelex doll and packaging:
You initially requested a return, and only after this was declined did you raise concerns about packaging. No details or photographs of poor packaging were provided at that stage. All our dolls are sent out in brand new condition after a thorough QC check. The packaging may vary from one doll type to another, however, they are all sent out in mint condition. Our records confirm that we responded promptly and offered appropriate support throughout.

Regarding the Zora doll fittings:
The product was shipped with the correct fittings. When you reported an issue with the screw, we offered multiple solutions, including the option to return the doll for inspection. You advised that you could not return the item due to time constraints. Despite this, we still issued a £25 goodwill refund. There was no written agreement for a £100 refund, so this claim in your review is not accurate.

Regarding Klarna:
You sent the return after approximately four months without an authorized return request, following several attempts via Klarna to recover the payment. Klarna independently reviewed your case three times and, on each occasion, ruled in our favour after carefully considering all evidence provided. Please note that we are not authorized to speak on behalf of Klarna, hence we have told you several times via email and phone to raise this with them independently.

Regarding the return and quality inspection:
Prior to your return, our manager called you to advise that the return would be refused by our warehouse as it was not authorized and stood well outside the return period. During this call, you assured us the product was unused and requested a quality inspection report with photographic evidence. You also acknowledged that the return was being accepted as a goodwill gesture and that a refund would not be possible if evidence of use was found. Our inspection, documented with photos, confirmed that the product had indeed been used, as all makeup in the intimate areas had been washed off. Having strict quality controls and terms around returns ensures all customers, including yourself, receive only the best product each time, in mint condition. We strictly do not resell goods and inspect all authorised returns with great care for signs of unboxing and/or use. The consumer law also acknowledges this through clauses around sale and return of intimate items, largely due to health and safety concerns.

Following the evidence and final decision given to you, you left a one-star Trustpilot review. While we understand your frustration, several points raised do not accurately reflect the sequence of events or agreements made.

At Lucid Toys, we remain committed to delivering quality products and responsive service, as reflected in the experiences of many satisfied customers. Although we could not reach the outcome you hoped for, please be assured that your concerns were taken seriously and addressed promptly at every stage.
