Excellent service and immaculate timing

If you need to cancel your trip, even on the day of purchase or two weeks before the trip, you will most likely not get your money back. The ticket refund rules are very vague and unfair.

They do not provide refunds if you are unable to use the tickets and need to cancel your trip.

Although their policy appears to offer several refund options, there are hidden conditions in practice.

For example:
• If you purchase a round-trip ticket and one segment is discounted, the other segment becomes non-refundable.
• If you process a cancellation online using the link provided in your email, you are not eligible for a refund.

In my case, even though one of the tickets was not discounted and I canceled more than two weeks in advance, they still refused to issue a refund.

Takeaway:
• Always consider booking each ticket separately rather than as a round-trip.
• Avoid using the cancellation link in the email; instead, contact their customer support directly.

I’m unable to book on LUX Express app. When I input cities and dates it takes me to different possibilities, when I click on it I get message “your Basket has Expired“. I booked a train instead.

Great value for a bus trip from Tallinn to Riga. No issues. On time. Used also airport shuttle and the same result.

The bus was comfortable, and the ride was smooth, but the service didn't fully meet expectations. The WIFI was unreliable. The seats were spacious, but cleanliness could have been better. For the price, it's an okay option.

The best bus service for its money. Period. I’ve been using Lux Express for several years and have taken about 25-30 trips. The service is reliable and well-managed. They provide everything needed for journey: water, hot drinks, power outlets, USB ports, earphones by request, and a tablet at each seat. The seats are very comfy (but I prefer lounge version more), and buses run on schedule. Once, I needed to change a ticket due to an error with the date. I called customer support that day, and they quickly switched my ticket to the next available bus at no extra charge! The flexibility of their support team is 10/10. Fast and very helpful. They just got loyal customer for years.

Right now on a Lux Express Tallinn to Riga. I've used them for several journeys throughout the Baltics recently. Consistently excellent, immaculately clean and punctual. Great wifi, tea and coffee and clean toilet. Drivers are professional and friendly, including our present lady driver. I wish we had these buses in UK!

One of the best bus companies in Europe! I used their services four times during my trip around the Baltics, and each journey was consistently punctual, often arriving even ahead of schedule. The seats are spacious and comfortable, and the onboard entertainment screens add to the overall experience. I highly recommend this company!

Mostly always on time - way more reliable and comfortable than other companies. Luggage gets labelled so less of it goes missing. Affordable. Wifi and plugs work!

When buying tickets for more than 1 person you all get placed randomly in the bus. Your father will go to the back, you will sit your ass at the front, your son and daughter must sit with random people because people don't want to move from their perfect ideal spot.

Staff only speaks Estonian so no luck if you aren't local.

He viajado de Riga a Tallin en bus. Una persona pone las maletas en el maletero y te da un resguardo. Es muy cómodo. Hay wifi, diferentes cafés disponibles en una máquina, baño. Fue puntual. En fin, muy recomendable.

Esmu ļoti apmierināta ar savu izvēli izmantot Lux Express pakalpojumu ceļā Liepāja-Rīga.
Šoferis Andris ļoti laipns un taktisks. Autobusa serviss iepriecina. Saprotu, ka šobrīd ir iepazīšanās cenas, bet noteikti izmantošu pakalpojumu arī turpmāk, arī ja cena pakāpsies. Par izcilu servisu var maksāt.

Bus didn't arrive on time. Customer support couldn't give any information when it will arrive and just told us to wait, promising it should arrive in a few hours.

Meine Frau ist zum ersten Mal mit Luxexpress gefahren. Toller Service mit sehr fairen Preisen, top saubere und bequeme Busse, auffallend freundlicher Service und Busfahrer ( alle Busfahrer! ). Haben sich sehr viel Zeit genommen, a den Grenzen gewartet, geholfen und alles kontrolliert. Busse ausgestattet mit sehr sauberen Toiletten, Tee und Getränken. Kann man nur besten Gewissens empfehlen. Top, Zehn Sterne ! Immer wieder gerne.

The temperature inside the bus was 7-8 degrees celsius in December(!) (I have photos from the cabin stating it is 7 degrees with timestamp and destination), an absolute nightmare for sitting more than 6 hours even in all on winter clothes. The bus has no water in the restroom and no tea. Asking the driver about what on earth is happening does not help other than watching him stating this is how it goes, deal with it.

Luxexpress support replied after 6 days and did nothing, just stated this was outside temperature (it snows all the way around there, this is a stupid joke). No refund provided.

On the trip from Tallinn- Parnu - Riga, on 30.11 2023 11:00 bus driver was rude and did not helpful. Is this company's name really "LUX express"? Because the experience was definitely not LUX. Maybe it would be better to find a staff, which would be able to work with clients, than to give a job for a person who can't speak politely to the clients and is rude and has no idea what good service is about? Thank you for the awful experience, never ever again...

Do not trust this company! I chose Lux Express for my trip only because of their 100% refund promise explained in their own T&C. However, when I wanted to cancel my ticket 28 days before the travel time to receive the refund, they changed the Refund option to Voucher only. Lux Express is not able to provide the service because Finland closed some border crossings with Russia, but surely as a business Lux Express has insurance for these situations. However, they decided to punish the customers who trusted their promise. Appalling customer service! Do not use Lux Express!
