Amy prepared one of the most detailed and exciting trips we’ve ever taken and we travel allot. This was our 1st trip to Scotland and we really feel like we saw so much of their beautiful country. Amy is phenomenal to work with, super communicative, responsive and flexible. Highly recommend her and Luxury Scotland Tours.

Our family of four recently returned from the most extraordinary trip to Scotland, and it’s all thanks to this exceptional luxury OF Luxury Scotland Tours. From the very first email to the final dropoff, every detail was handled with a level of care, precision, and warmth that exceeded anything we could have imagined.
Traveling with two teenage boys can be challenging, but the itinerary struck a perfect balance between sophistication and fun. We explored breathtaking landscapes, from rolling Highlands to storybook castles, all without ever feeling rushed. Our travel coordinator (Jessica Convery) was organized and responsive - always quick to answer emails and adjust our itinerary based on our feedback. Our driver (Jacky Drummond with Transvercia Chauffeurs) was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also wonderfully engaging, punctual, reliable and full of helpful suggestions and tidbits of Scottish history and culture. We missed Jacky after we parted ways!
The accommodations that were reserved on our behalf were nothing short of spectacular—each property felt handpicked, combining luxury with authentic Scottish charm. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches along the way: seamless transportation, personalized recommendations, and those little surprises that made each day feel unique.

I planned a trip to Scotland for my husband's 60th birthday. As I had never been to Scotland I did not know where to begin. Luxury Scotland Tours was fantastic at helping me with all the steps including planning the itinerary and booking all the hotels, restaurants, sightseeing and tour guides. Everything went smooth and they were very quick to answer any questions and make last minute changes to the itinerary when needed. They also booked the most fantastic chauffeur Gordon for us. He was super friendly, fun and knowledgable of all the places we visited and really added value to our trip. All in all we could not have asked for more.

We had a wonderful time and loved everything about Scotland. We couldn't have done it without Jessica and Luxury Tours. The food, tours, driver and hotels were unbelievable. Everyone was so grateful for your services. Thank you for all those who helped make this a memorable vacation.
If anything that could have been better, it would have rained for us? Hahahaha! We packed so much rain gear that it took up half of our suitcases. Beautiful weather!!

Our driver service, Transvercia, was outstanding: professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and an absolute joy to travel with. We felt safe, relaxed, and completely taken care of the entire time. Jacky shared amazing stories, took us to breathtaking spots we never would have found on our own, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.

The itinerary was a dream come true! We visited countless breathtaking castles, toured some of the finest Scotch distilleries, and immersed ourselves in Scotland’s rich, captivating history. They even planned private walking tours, boat excursions, and a private tour of a wonderful chocolate factory. All we had to do was show up. Even dinner reservation for each night had been planned. If you have a chance to take a private walking tour of Edinburgh ask for Edward Deely. He was impressive.

I worked with Luxury Scotland Tours to plan a special 19-day trip to Scotland to celebrate multiple life landmarks with my husband. Their in-country expertise was paramount in planning an itinerary that exceeded all our expectations! My wife and I celebrated our 50th Anniversary in Scotland to trace her heritage. Luxury Scotland Tours put together an amazing Trip! We could not have been happier and we have done a lot of traveling. Our driver Jackie was awesome! We loved seeing so many we visisted and especially Leault Working Sheepdogs, Highland Private Charter, Storr, Fairy Pools & Kilt Rock. Our accomodations were wonderful especially the Caldedonian in Edinburgh, Kinloch Lodge, Isle of Eriska and our favorite Cromlix Hotel. There are not enough stars to rate the service provided by Alan and Luxury Scotland Tours. We recently returned from a perfectly planned trip to Scotland. I highly recommend that anyone planning a trip to Scotland use the incredible service that Luxury Scotland Tours provides.

Everything and every aspect of our trip was impeccably planned and executed, and thoroughly enjoyable, thanks to the very careful attention and efforts of Luxury Scotland Tours, with special mention to Florence, Helen and Alasdair. We were met promptly in Inverness by our driver Ewan Innes, and from the moment he collected us at the airport to the time he dropped us off for the journey home, he was the very definition of what a great driver should be. He was so personable, at times funny, very knowledgeable, punctual, and communicative at all times, without being too talkative

The three hotels chosen for our six-night tour were impeccable. The locations ensured easy walking access to the towns of Inverness, Portree and Dornoch, and the restaurants in each hotel were first rate, with special mention given to the award-winning Mara in the Links House at Dornoch. The staffs and service at each location were exemplary, and included special welcomes such as champagne and specialty cocktails. My mother, sister and I were in Scotland to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday, and the attention and care received by my mother by Luxury Scotland Tours, our driver Ewan, and all hotel personnel in each location made her feel like royalty.

The itinerary itself was beautifully thought out and prepared, based on my initial communication with Luxury Scotland Tours. We were treated to the very best of the Highlands, including a private boat tour on Loch Ness, castle tours chosen specifically toward accessibility for my mother, and whisky distillery tours and tastings that enhanced our experience of the tastes and essences of Scotland.

In summary, I was overwhelmingly satisfied with Luxury Scotland Tours’ excellence in communicating and planning, and in the execution itself of a delightful celebration through the Highlands.

Fantastic vacation! MV Luxury Tours setup an excellent itinerary which we were able to also further customize as the trip progressed. Top notch hotels and experiences. The staff is extremely responsive and provided excellent guides/drivers.

My wife and I have been fortunate to travel extensively. I have always been the trip planner, arranger, and junior travel agent. For our trip to Scotland and Ireland we wanted to try a different approach. Our goal was to find a company that could work with us to design a custom itinerary for our 16 day trip. In MV Luxury Tours we found that company.
From the very first conversation they listened closely, made suggestions, and crafted the itinerary that we wanted, not some one-size fits all plan. We opted for the self-drive option instead of a chauffeured vehicle. This gave us additional flexibility and added a bit of "adventure"to the trip. Every detail from dropping the car off at our hotel at the start of the trip to picking it up at the end was handled flawlessly.
The hotels MVLT booked were spot on. They were exactly the type of accommodations we wanted. The only problem was they were so nice we didn't want to leave!
Having all of our dinner reservations pre-booked was an even bigger convenience than we imagined. At the end of an active day, it was relaxing to know we didn't have to make reservations, find a really good restaurant, etc. MVLT had taken care of all of that in advance. Of course, as with the hotels, all was done with our pre-approval of the choice.
The sights and activities built into our itinerary were amazing. Even though we had worked through every detail in advance, being there and experiencing them was even better than imagined.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with this tour company! From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully organized and executed with care. The itinerary was rich and immersive, and the people we met along the way made it truly unforgettable.

Our driver and guide Doug was exceptional—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our trip special. He even helped us recover our passports from a hotel safe we’d forgotten them in! His stories, humor, and insights added so much depth to our journey.

While the itinerary was a bit packed (we’d recommend allowing more time at each hotel to relax and explore), every accommodation was charming and the breakfasts were consistently outstanding. The Isle of Eriska hotel was a standout—we just wish we had more time there!

We especially loved the Coral Beach Walk and our time with guides Christine, Emma, and Gordon—each brought their own unique energy and expertise.

I cannot even begin to say enough about this company and our customized trip experience. This was a special moment for my husband and I, we are very busy professionals with minimal down time, and I was not able to fully immerse myself in the planning of this trip. This was also our first experience with international travel, and I wanted this trip to be the perfect one to set the precedence. Our correspondent took the time to schedule a phone call completely sensitive to my time zone and busy lifestyle. They asked questions, but most importantly listened to what I said in the conversation and planned a trip including all of the things that mattered to me and my husband and did so in a timely manner with selection of the perfect guides and drivers. We are home and I can say I am incredibly speechless. Our next trip I can only hope to find another group to plan such a magical experience.

At first, we were hesitant to engage with a firm we did not know. I checked reviews and everything I could and then determined to work with them. Luxury Scotland gave us exactly what we wanted - a tour of Scotland that was unique to us. Amy Cornock, our travel coordinator was excellent. First, she laid out an itinerary based on our defined desires. She responded quickly and graciously to every change, addition or deletion we wanted as we moved closer to our tour. A key for us is Amy knows Scotland and the various vendors - driver, hotels, restaurants - and was able to guide us to the people, places and experiences we wanted. When we arrived in Scotland, everything was prepared for us. It was the smoothest international travel experience we have had. It was obvious Amy was monitoring our trip as she was always one step ahead when a closure or challenge happened (one time only) and made the edit before we even knew what was needed. Our driver, Brian Livingstone, was a professional's professional. He was always on time, stayed ahead of every needed step (always had water etc. available), was extremely conscious of our timeline and safety and made our time in Scotland a breeze. His knowledge of the country, culture and people made this a special trip. Besides his professionalism and skill, he is a wonderful and delightful human being. We enjoyed out time with Brian. He delivered well beyond expectations.

Our recent private tour - September 2024 to Scotland with Luxury Scotland Tours was one of the very best tours we have gone on and we have traveled extensively. Alan and his team really listened to us to design a tour that was perfect in the pace, the flexibility, the accommodations and sights. A lot of what we are came from this country and they showed it to us. We specifically wanted a focus on the coast and they built in some great day boat tours. In one we saw three whale species from a Zodiac, and, in another, they also set a day up for us to have a private Falcon tour in which a fifteen pound Bald Eagle flew in from the shore, landed on my arm, grabbed a piece of meat from my (gloved) hand and stared me in the eye. It was one of the most amazing experiences we’ve ever have ever had. The private guides were especially excellent and we had great conversations as we toured. We recommend them highly - I just wish they covered more areas than the British Isles.

For a tour company to get our repeat business, they have to be exceptional. Luxury Scotland Tours is exceptional! In July 2022 my husband and I took our first tour with Luxury Tours, and in July-August 2024 we took our second.

Luxury Scotland Tours makes the planning easy. My husband and I looked at some of the readily available tours and then worked with Helen Kidd to create our own personalized itinerary. What an incredible adventure! We went on a walking tour of Edinburgh with our own Blue Badge guide, enjoyed afternoon tea at The Dome, fed reindeer in Cairngorms National Park, participated in a falconry experience, watched the Kelpies change color at night, visited magnificent castles (Edinburgh, Stirling, and Culzean), visited beautiful lighthouses (Portmahomack and Chanonry), visited scenic Glencoe, played golf (Castle Stuart and Dundonald), and so much more.

Helen paired us with a wonderful driver, Craig Donald. He was so likable, knowledgeable, and professional on our first trip that we asked for him on our second trip as well.

Helen and her associates worked hard to make sure our vacation was everything we had hoped it would be and it was. We highly recommend Luxury Scotland Tours!
