I am very disappointed with the handling of my recent flight booking experience.
I purchased a ticket through Skyscanner and LY.COM for an early morning flight from BKI to KUL. Just one day before departure, I was informed that the original flight had changed and was given the option to either accept a later flight or request a refund.
I tried contacting customer service multiple times but could not get through. Since I had an important international connecting flight the next day, I went directly to the airline counter and was able to check in successfully using the booking reference provided.
After checking in, I informed the team clearly that I did not want a refund because I had already received my boarding pass. However, no one informed me that the booking had already been cancelled or could no longer be used.
I only found out after boarding the plane that my booking had been cancelled. Because of this, I had to pay again for a new ticket and also pay penalties to change my international flight. The total losses were almost RM6,000.
This experience caused major stress, financial loss, and inconvenience. Communication was unclear, customer service was very difficult to reach, and the situation was handled very unprofessionally.
I hope improvements can be made so that no other customer has to go through the same experience.

Do not use this service for anything at all. They are horrendous, incompetent, and extremely dishonest. I booked a flight with them but instead of using my contact information so that I receive updates directly from the airline, the person used their personal email address. So, when the airline cancelled the flight, I didn't get any notification and ended up at the airport only to be turned back. Then, I had to stay for 2 additional nights at a hotel waiting for the next available flight. Ly.com, now going by hopegoo, promised to pay the hotel bills but when I sent them the receipts, they did not respond anymore.

Worst experience ever! I paid extra to get the feature where I can have the option to change the dates of the ticket. And it was a medical emergency at my home and I needed to go earlier. But these scammers kept me on hook for 3 days saying they are trying their best to accommodate my request. Mark you, I paid extra already to them to get the ticket which can be modified. They kept giving me hours and excuses. Ultimately it didnât pass through. Neither they refunded my money. I will never ever buy from them even if the ticket is being sold at the cheapest rate whatsoever! They are scam guys! I wish someone could save me from this horrible experience. But please donât ever trust this site for your tickets! Worst experience ever! They costed me mental health and the harassment was another level of calling them and following up again and again about my own paid tickets. Good for nothing fellows! I was fined by Ryanair because I couldnât check in beforehand. I checked at the emails from Ly.com so many times then finally found a super f**king tiny lines in Chinese saying that I should use their email to pre-check-in. Other than this ridiculous message, nothing on my booking document/website has any further information.
I called the service to complain and they responded me that having the important information written ridiculously small is a systematic problem but they wonât refund me. Seriously? Isnât the platformâs responsibility to provide READABLE information?

This company is a SCAM I got to the airport and it was a man on my itinerary that I had no idea who he was and they wanted me to lie and say I knew who he was in order for me to catch the flight. The airport flagged it which left me and my children stranded at the airport. I had to beg my family to send me extra money to catch a flight home because the same day flights were outrageous. This company is in China and I should have known better when the language was in Chinese. Please don't be scammed by this company. I had to sit at the airport for my son 16th birthday. They charged my credit card for a ticket, but the airline later informed me that the agency had actually used a fraudulent card to purchase the booking. Although the agency provided a confirmation code, it did not appear in the airlineâs system. When I called the airline directly, I learned that the reservation was invalid because of the fraudulent payment.
Had I not verified this in advance, my trip would have been cancelled at the last minute. This companyâs practices are deceptive and potentially dangerous for travelers. Avoid them completely.
I have also cancelled my credit card as I don't want to be another victim of fraud.
