Just to say I am a fan of Maintracts and have engaged with them over many years. On this occasion this was an emergency and I had a small leak from some old pipes. They were able to attend within an hour and then returned a week later to undertake a total removal of the old pipework. It turned out to be a complicated and awkward job.
The plumber was calm and clear and I was totally confident in his abilities.
He completed the planned works in a timely and tidy fashion.
I would highly recommend.

We have used Maintracts since the 1980s and they never fail to deliver excellent service: electrical, plumbing and boiler servicing.

I live in Streatham. Maintracts sent Darryl to investigate a leak under my kitchen sink and he identified the problem in minutes: a tap valve that, unbeknown to me, was leaking tiny drops at the top nut and staining my neighbour's ceiling. He replaced it for me. The appointment was easily booked. Neil.

Toby was brilliant, really helpful and fast

I had an excellent experience with Toby this morning. He was friendly, helpful and efficient, and he kept me informed at every stage so I knew what was going on. Great service, very impressed with Maintracts – will definitely be using them again.

I have used Maintracts previously for paid jobs and been very satisfied, but this time I’m utterly grateful to Oliver who coached me over the phone to solve & identify an issue for myself after returning to my flat at 10pm to find no running water. Very calm, supportive and kind.

We had an ongoing problem (for more than a decade) with the drainage from our downstairs macerator toilet, which was linked to the washing machine and had been installed with too small a pipe under the kitchen floorboards with flimsy joins and with an upwards slope, thus prone to blockages. Several plumbers had looked at the situation, but none of whom were prepared to come and actually do the work. Finally just before Xmas, the emergency we were long expecting happened. The downstairs loo flooded and the macerator refused to work again. No washing machine or downstairs loo, and lots of other plumbers were dealing with heating emergencies. In desperation I called Maintracts and explained the situation and they recommended Harrison for the job.

Not only did Harrison sort the immediate situation with a new macerator in December, he saved our Xmas stress-load. The plumbing was carefully done and he ensured everything was working properly and that we were happy with the solution. We then booked a second appointment to do the remedial pipework. Harrison and Jack came to do the job last Saturday. They worked as an excellent team, knowledgeable, careful with the installation as well as respecting our property and the work was completed exactly as they had planned. It was a complicated solution and they have done it well, we do not anticipate any further issues. They kept us informed of the process and finished in good time, cleaned up and for the price quoted. I have gone into some detail because I would recommend them for this work again, or any other plumbing needs you might have in an old house. Hearty thanks to Harrison, Jack and Maintracts.

Highly recommend Maintracts. I’ve used them multiple times and Oliver is always very helpful over email and quick to book you in. Toby replaced my hot water cylinder and was very efficient and friendly.

Maintracts are excellent heating engineers. Over the last 3 years I have been using Maintracts for a rental property. The work has included boiler servicing, gas safety certificates and ad hoc boiler repairs. Their service engineers and admin team are experienced and efficient in carrying out work. Malcolm, who is part of the team, is exceptional at identifying the cause of issues and resolving them. I will definitely use this company again and would recommend.

I had a boiler issue this morning with low pressure (E119) and no hot water, and he was incredibly helpful and professional.
He took the time to talk me through the problem clearly and patiently, and helped me get everything sorted quickly.
Really knowledgeable, calm, and reassuring — especially when you’re stressed about having no hot water.
I’d definitely recommend and would happily contact him again.

Efficient, professional and friendly - the best plumbers we have ever used

I have used Maintracts several times over the years and they have always provided a highly professional and efficient service, at a reasonable rate. The engineers and plumbers have been great. I would recommend them highly.

Excellent assistance out of hours from Malcolm for a boiler issue. I’m a longstanding Maintracts customer and this is a good example why. Malcolm talked me through step by step how to fix it when chatgpt had done a good job but not fixed it. He even gave some helpful advice on my whole HW and Heating system. What a knowledgeable and helpful guy.

I was struggling to gain great standards from independant builders and recently dissappointed by a long standing builder to complete work on a water damage situation. I asked friends for a recommendation and Maintracts instantly came across professional bcause of their site, reviews and the simple fact my friend sung their praises.

I called through quite early and didn’t manage to get through and instantly I received a call back as they saw my missed call. A lovely mannerful gentleman took te time to understand my scenario and offered me a home visit within the next hours. I was so amazed. Unfortunately my tenants preferred the next day. I really appreciated the fact the gentleman explained my rights as a landlord to address damaging scenarios above the tenants preferences. This impression left me with the feeling this company genuinely cares. I later booked a slot the next day knowing my window and I asked if I could be called half hour prior to be able to drive down. So accommodating.

On the day I was called by a very polite gentleman called Nick and he was at the property half hoir ahead of the window I was given and he was absolutely happy to wait. I arrived in ten mins and the inspection and works was so so thorough and explanatory. It was a bonus to have had lovely conversations as I watched and as he worked. I was provided with a professional report and expert advice regarding any follow ups with my home insurance company. Nick made all efforts to resolve my plumbing needs despite me having a non typical bathtub. I was very impressed and appreciative.

The staff and company ethics are so lovely you actually walk away heart warmed that you were in good honest hands. I cannot recommend them enough.

They were great on the phone and FaceTimed me so I could show them my electric panel! We managed to resolve it without an expensive call out, highly recommend!

Great Experience with this company. Jake was the plumbing technician who came to install a new shower valve which I had purchased to replace a valve that failed. I thought it would be a simple job but some changes in the new valve's design made it considerably more complicated. Jake was great. He methodically thought it through and then talked me through the various adaptations he could make to enable the new valve to be installed. He fully explained the various risks that came with attempting the job and what would be the consequences and solutions if it did go wrong. I decided to put my faith in both his ability and obvious expertise and professionalism. He carefully proceeded explaining each step as he undertook it and finally achieved the desired result with no mishaps . Well done Jake. He also identified some other issues that require attention and gave me an immediate quote for the work. I was highly impressed with Jake, a first rate plumber. He also told me that nearly all the people who worked at Maintracts were long term employees as they all loved the job and he spoke very highly of his employers. To me that signifies a great employer with a happy enthusiastic workforce. I would highly recommend Maintracts and Jake.

I have used Toby a few times now and hes been brilliant every time. He is honest, reliable, trustworthy and puntual and would highly recommend him to anyone.
