We’re truly sorry to hear that you were disappointed, but we’d like to clarify a few things for others reading this review.

Maison d’Amber is a legitimate European company based in the Netherlands, and we stand behind every product listed on our website. All product descriptions, photos, shipping times, return policies, and refund options are transparently displayed and clearly communicated at checkout — we do not hide our return fees or conditions.

We offer customers two clear options if they’re unhappy with an item:

1. Return the product for a full refund (excluding return shipping costs, as stated on our policy page),

or


2. Accept a partial refund if they prefer to keep the item.

Our support team responded to your emails and explained these options several times. While we understand that international return costs can be inconvenient, we do everything we can to support our customers fairly and within our terms of service.

We are continuously working on improving our products and packaging and truly regret that your experience didn’t meet your expectations.

Just to clarify: we absolutely do offer returns and we never refuse a refund when a return is processed according to our clearly outlined return policy — which is available on our website and shown at checkout. If you were not provided the return address, we kindly ask you to check your inbox or reach out again so we can assist further.

Maison d’Amber is a legitimate business based in the Netherlands. Accusations of being a scam are not only unfair but also inaccurate. We work hard to provide responsive customer service and transparent policies — including offering customers the choice of returning their order for a full refund (minus return costs) or accepting a partial refund if they wish to keep the item.

To clarify, delivery typically takes 7–12 business days from the shipping date due to international transit and customs, which we mention at checkout and on our website. We're sorry to hear that the tracking link wasn’t working — if that ever happens, we're happy to send you an updated version manually.

Also, please rest assured: if you're not satisfied with your order once it arrives, you’re absolutely entitled to return it. We offer a fair return policy and process refunds quickly upon receipt of the returned parcel.

While we completely understand price perception differs per customer, our prices reflect more than just the item itself — they include our team’s efforts, branding, content creation, warehousing, packaging, customer support, and shipping logistics. We do not claim to manufacture our products; like many global retailers, we work with international suppliers, but we carefully select styles based on quality, fit, and styling — not solely on cost.

Regarding sizing: we do provide size charts on every product page, and our customer care team is always available to assist before purchase. We also offer returns if something isn’t quite right — the 10% refund option is simply an alternative for customers who wish to avoid the costs of returning.
