Be careful

I filed a complaint with the Organization of Consumers and Users in Spain (OCU) and the refund has been resolved after 3 weeks, but I want to share my experience here to help other consumers:
I wanted to cancel an order an hour after placing it. I contacted customer service through various channels and waited for a response from the after-sales service. Initially, there seemed to be no issues with the cancellation according to their customer service accounts. However, they began asking me for reasons and ignoring my requests through other customer service numbers (Whatsapp).

The poor language skills, spelling mistakes, and unprofessional manners made me suspicious of unreliable practices, as their slow responses were always excuses that prevented the cancellation of the order, despite being within their own website's policies.

One can only think that either the information on their website about the products and orders, which they claim are custom-made by master craftsmen, is very incomplete and does not clearly inform the consumer, or they put many obstacles in the way of basic services.
Seeing the reviews found here, the problem seems worse: negative reviews suggest they are a dropshipping company; positive reviews follow a pattern where they all only review the same companies, all accused of the same fraudulent practices (based in Torrelavega as well, curious) and even banned by Trustpilot... Be careful.

Edit to respond:
You are lying. OCU has accepted the complaint with its lawyers because you were not complying with the cancellation policy that you have on the website, whose deadline was explicitly met and demonstrated.

Your terms and policies may be correct, but your actions are not. You made up things that were not explained anywhere on the website, something that must be explicit for the consumer's information at all times before placing the order. The reasons for cancellation according to consumer law do not have to be detailed because there is a right of withdrawal that I exercised. I recommend that if you have problems with this company, you use the services of the relevant consumer organization in your country, because they do have the power to intervene and file complaints for malpractice.

I see that some products (the one I ordered) have disappeared from the website. It's a shame not being able to enjoy the skill of the Shaolin Chinese craftman performing their magic.

When you do a clearance (in your case, perpetual), it is only for the stock you have in the warehouse. If you, as you say, **allegedly**, have to bear the costs of materials, production expenses, and so on, that's called market value, not clearance, and it's not the consumer's fault that you don't know how to run the business.

Good afternoon:

You tried to make a cancellation after the deadline and even with this premise we decided to do it so that you would not have any problem.

Before time and without even telling us the reason for the cancellation, he decided to contact the OCU, an organization that does not provide any type of solution when our company has all the policies in order. If it was decided to make the refund, it was solely for his satisfaction.

I don't think your experience is worthy of a star when a refund and cancellation was made completely out of time and our company had to charge the production costs.

We would like it to be fairer.

La información sobre envío es engañosa, porque, al menos en mi caso, aunque la "tienda" aparece como en España, era totalmente dropshipping. Entiendo que esa es la razón de las quejas sobre plazos de envío de otros clientes. Cancelé el pedido con relativa "facilidad" porque había usado PayPal y directamente lo reclamé con ellos. Una desilusión...

Buenas noches R-Manchester somos una empresa registrada en España y en la información de envío no es engañosa en nuestras politicas indicamos claramente que nuestros productos pueden ser enviados desde España o desde alguno de nuestros almacenes internacionales.

El Dropshipping es un metodo de comercio en el que el vendedor no compra el producto hasta que este no es comprado por el cliente, nosotros trabajamos bajo pedido unicamente en articulos de mobiliario custom o grandes piezas, creemos que es el metodo utilizado por el 99.9% de las empresas de muebles. En el caso de nuestras lamparas informamos que se envian con el plug segun pais de destino lo que no obliga a dedicar un tiempo a cambiar el plug de la lampara aunque esta se encuentre stockada en almacen.

Nuestro producto es un producto de muchisima calidad y le invitamos a solicitarnos videos de cualquiera de nuestros productos.

Este tipo de comentarios hacen mucho daño a las empresas y no consideramos que su experiencia con nosotros merezca una estrella en absoluto espero puedas recapacitar y aunque no haya sido de su agrado pueda al menos mejorar su valoración ya que en ningun momento hemos puesto problemas para realizar su devolucion.

Como aclaracion nos gustaria destacar que enviamos algunos productos desde España, productos de menor tamaño y arte.

Great quality and service!

I bought two chairs a few months ago and I hesitated to buy the matching Stool, my surprise was that when I decided to do it they were already sold out.I signed up to be notified as soon as there was stock thinking that I would no longer find it, but no, as soon as there was stock they contacted me and sent it to me. The quality of the service is incredible!

This company is a scam!!!
They have fake followers and fake comments. They lure in with ads on insta- you spend money and never get your order and nobody replies to you!! Don't buy from them

Do not buy from this company!!! I purchase a sofa sending a photo of the 3 seater sofa I wanted having seen it on Instagram. I waited from January to May 2024, they sent a two seater!!! When I contacted them to resolve the situation they were rude, dismissive and did not help at all. I lost 2 thousand 2 hundred euros. Very distressed.

When you received your sofa, you were expecting a 3-seater sofa, but the sofa is a custom-made sofa and exchanges are not allowed.

Es imposible hacer seguimiento del envío, las fechas no se han cumplido, no dan explicaciones y nos piden que lo gestionemos con la empresa de transporte. Es una compra para nuestro negocio y verdaderamente dependemos de ello. Lo compramos con mucha ilusión y estamos muy decepcionadas.

Alejandre entendemos su preocupación desde el primer momento pero nosotros no somos los receptores del sofa por lo que no podemos operar en vuestro nombre con las Aduanas Españolas, el retraso ha sido causado por un agente externo como es la Aduana Española y nosotros no podemos hacer nada contra esto espero lo entendais y podais mejorar vuestra valoracion.

Nuestra atencion whattsapp jamas ha dejado de responderos aunque sentimos que la respuesta no pueda ser la que deseais.

My Harley Lamp Adventure to Nowhere

Alright, picture this: it's March 31st, 2024, and I'm all excited to light up my life with a new Harley lamp from Maison Figueras. Fast forward two agonizing weeks to April 12th, and what do I have? A whole lot of nothing! No lamp, no updates—nada. So, I call up customer support to pull the plug on this debacle, and guess what? They hit me with a "too late, buddy" because apparently, the cancellation deadline has ghosted me just like their delivery promises.

Now here we are, it's May 3rd, and according to their "Order Tracker"—which is about as reliable as a chocolate teapot—my order hasn't even been picked up yet. Surprise, surprise. And to add insult to injury, my inbox has turned into a ghost town since April 25th; not a peep from Maison Figueras.

This isn't just the worst online shopping experience of my life; it's a masterclass in how not to run a business. I'm still here, lamp-less and ticked off, waiting for either my Harley light, my cash back, or just a darn reply.

Never again.
