I have had the pleasure of working with Major fir the past 5 years. For the last 3 years i have worked closley with the Bradford Branch, more so Agata and the delightful Carlos. As a site administrator i would request staff to work within the business. Agata would always deliver and would be extremely helpful when it came to wages and contracts.

I have always been impressed with Majors service level. They always go that extra mile to look after their clients with good communication and excellent service.

From entering their Bradford office I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff. I have been out of work for about 6 months and was low on confidence, they took my information and asked relevant questions to discover what I was looking for. I completed the application form and was told a company they deal with would likely want to see me.
The next day the Branch Manager - Carlos he told me ge had contacted a manufacturing company and arranged an interview for me.
Truly excellent experience

I’ve had a great experience with Major, they worked hard to find a role that suited me and I’m really happy there. Would recommend!

Major recruitment is by far the best recruitment agency I’ve encountered. It’s clear they are passionate about what they do, and go above and beyond to help and support you through the whole journey. All staff are friendly, approachable and professional. Communication is fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone

I would give no stars if possible, very unprofessional,absolutely disgusting work ethics, extremely keen to extract your very personal details,driving licence,passport, NI number, tell you they will contact you fri to start a job Monday for a none existing job,of course no contact from the so called office manager a request has been made for them to remove all details supplied to them,this request was sent 7 days ago ,of course no reply whatsoever from them , absolutely disgusting

Major Recruitment? Well, no!!! Major pain in the A$$!!! Avoid them!!! Time wasters!

Terrible Experience!
Had to work with them for a month and end up underpaid! AVOID WORKING WITH THOSE KIND OF AGENCIES! The worst part is that they actually go under other names, so it's really hard to track them and keep them responsible. BE AWARE!

Where to begin!! Avoid them - there are agencies who care so much more about their workers!

They send group chat messages once in a while begging you to give them a positive review! No need to beg if you cared about your staff! They clearly don’t care about our bad reviews otherwise they’d read them and respond lol.

They won’t explain holiday pay unless you ask. Many colleagues told me they lost out here and didn’t know they were entitled!

They give you shifts then cancel them on the day without pay! EVEN WHEN THEY TELL YOU THEY WILL PAY 💰 😡

They often mess up pay and under pay you, if they pay at all!

If you’re with a union you might just need them!

I should have read the reviews first.

Only 8 reviews and the majority are negative. Craziest part is, the company doesn't even reply to the negative reviews so they obviously do not care.

So I registered with the agency thinking that I would be going in tomorrow for an induction. They told me on Monday that they would contact me for a time. It is now Thursday and all they have said is 'the manager hasn't gotten back to us with a time yet, you are on the shortlist don't worry!'. They said that yesterday. Still, I haven't received any call or email from them confirming a time. I think they just take your details and god knows what they do with it. Probably the worst agency I have come across.

Edit - the company lies through their teeth. They said they had phoned me after I emailed asking for an update which they did not, and they are insisting that they called me but I did not answer. That is total BS. Read the other reviews is all I have to say. They are just trying to get you onto a list to either say that they are getting workers so they get funds or they want to steal your details. STAY AWAY

I had an interview and weld test at Denso at 9.30am. I arrived and suddenly it was 10am for an induction. HOW CAN I HAVE AN INDUCTION IF I AM NOT YET EMPLOYED TO WORK THERE.Some thing very wrong with either Denso or the onsite people from Major Recruitment.

Terrible company. I was tricked by them and lost my holidays because of them. Before annual leave I asked muliple times how many days of holidays I still have left and is it possible to transfer them to the next year. And I been told that they are going to sort it. At the next tax year I been told immediately that I lost my holidays. I tried to complain about that but nobody even bothered to answer. As far as I know my colleges had problems with them as well.

I registered with Major Recruitment on the Thurs 14th July, for the Weekend Night's Freezer Picker and Packer role in Stanley, WF3. I was offered an induction via text, on the same day I registered with them. I replied straight away, that I was unable to attend the induction, due to illness. However, I stated I'd be available for an induction if they have any, on Sat 16th, Sun 17th, Mon 18th - Fri 22nd July. I stated if this was possible, but no reply. I even sent an email to the Wakefield branch, but it remained uneventful. It's a shame really, because I know some people that work for this agency and they highly recommended it.

Honestly, had the best recruitment experience. I applied for a job through indeed and got a call from Vince.

Vince is honestly sent from heaven. He really vouched for me and went the extra mile to get me an interview. I could not do the interview at the arranged date or time so he helped move the interview to another date that I was available. He used his special magic and I got the job!

Couldn't thank Vince and Major Recruitment enough. Thank you.

Incredibly ignorant company, I have now contacted the Bradford office via the website on 5 separate occasions with a simple yes or no question and had no response. This then caused me issues with DWP who then made out I was lying and on the 5th attempt at getting an answer I informed Major Recruitment of this but still no response. Their website claims they are honest, open and act with integrity as their reputation means everything!!!!!! Really!!! They got 1 star as I was unable to give them nothing.
