This situation is not fair to my business.
At 8:11am, I asked if you could move your appointment from 12:00 to 12:20. You confirmed at 8:41am that you would come at 12:20. However, you arrived at 12:50. Whether your booking was at 12:00 or 12:20, you were still at least 30 minutes late.
You arrived late and did not take responsibility for the time lost. Instead of having the two treatments originally booked, you requested to have only one. I had reserved a two-hour slot for you and could have offered that time to two other clients.
You did not apologise for being late, although your husband did. He politely asked if he could have a 60-minute massage and said I could keep the deposit as it was his birthday. Later, he asked for 90 minutes. I agreed because I did not want to disappoint him.
When you left, you both said the treatment was very good and even complimented me. However, you later left a one-star review, which was very surprising.
From the moment you arrived, your attitude was rude. I always respect my clientsâ time, and I expect the same respect in return. When a client arrives late, it affects the rest of my schedule and other customersâ bookings. Sometimes I have to adjust other appointments because of situations like this.
I value fairness and mutual respect. Unfortunately, in this case, I do not feel my time or my business was respected.
