Ordered by accident, emailed them straight away to cancel but they said it had already been sent out. Tried to return it, didn’t even open the package and said I couldn’t return. Surely there has to be something that can be done with trading standards about this company??

What a sham of a company! I cancelled my order within minutes of accidently ordering. I sent another 3 email the same day. No reply for 2 weeks... only to tell me that I didn't cancel within 12 hours. I sent proof that I did, then they said its already been sent. Once received I asked to return, when they bother replying ive had a number of excuses why I cant return it. Even though their website specifically says 30 day returns!! Now they have ignored all my emails

Avoid – Terrible Customer Service and Misleading Returns Policy

My experience with MANICISTA has been extremely disappointing.

I requested cancellation of my order within minutes of placing it. Instead of cancelling, I received repeated generic replies saying they would “check with the supplier.” The item was shipped anyway.

When I asked for a refund, I was incorrectly told that refunds are only given for damaged items — which directly contradicts their own published 14-day return policy. I had to quote their policy back to them. Even after receiving the parcel (unopened) and formally invoking the 14-day return period, I was given unrelated excuses to refuse the refund.

To make matters worse, I continued receiving emails saying my parcel was “in transit” after I had already received it. It was clear that no one was properly reading my emails.

This has been a frustrating experience involving:
• Ignored cancellation request
• Contradictory information
• Misrepresentation of their own return policy
• Generic, automated responses
• Refusal to process a straightforward return

I would not recommend this company based on their customer service and handling of returns.

Awful!!! PLEASE dont ever buy from this site. Awful products, tuned up late, no box, look exactly the same as temu products and they have refused to refund me!!!

In some ways I have benefitted from not reading the reviews first, because I normally do. I found the product easy to use, it arrived promptly, admittedly not in a box but loose and wrapped in bubble wrap. I followed the instructions and the nails lasted, looking nice, for over 2 weeks. As far as I could see, no removal kit was promised but I had no problem removing by scuffing surface with an emery board, and then soaking in acetone. Unfortunately this does dry the nail out but a good soak in a suitable nail moisturiser will sort that. My only criticism is that is the powder is a little messy so make sure you have something to shake the excess off onto. I didn't find it lumpy but keep an orange stick or cuticle knife handy to neaten the sides and cuticle before applying the activator. I hope this helps.

This company are using false advertising and lie. Product sent from abroad, so take ages to arrive. Items come in a jiffy bag rather than in a presentation box. They refused a return and refund. Ignoring my emails initially and responded after I escalated it through PayPal but waited until last day where they refused a refund. They are therefore lying on their website which offers money back guarantee .

Unreliable company! Received damaged item. Emailed the company and it took two weeks for them to reply. Numerous emails exchanged and they kept sending the same unhelpful email. Refused to refund saying the 14 days had passed. Their fault entirely for taking so long to reply. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Rubbish product. Extremely poor customer service. I am filling a consumer complaint.

Arrived late, when it did product arrived in bubble wrap....no instructions!
Emailed manicista regarding my concerns. Two weeks later received email with links how to use this product.
Decided to try using link they provided, unfortunately my nails looked awful.
I sent them an email of my nails after using this product as I was not happy with the end result....still waiting for a response and refund.
Based on my experience I would avoid this company and go to a salon

Items arrived not in box as on website and product stained my skin with the top coat like gorilla glue, had to go to a salon to get removed, customer service is terrible have been trying to return and refund for 6 weeks, now going through a chargeback via my credit card, definitely not recommended. They changed their policy from 90 to 30 days money back guarantee only on unused items.

So I should’ve checked the reviews more thoroughly before ordering, but I requested to send the product back for a refund, still in its full original packaging and completely untouched.

It’s been 3 weeks, and 3 requests to do this and I’ve heard nothing. They ignore the emails in order to not refund. I’m extremely disappointed with this lack of service. My reason for returning is that there have been bad reviews on how it leaves your nails after removal, which is something I struggle to maintain, so I don’t want to risk damaging my actual nail. Other brands appear to be removed more easily and leave less damage. Save yourself your money and put it towards a more professional brand that is capable of at the very least responding to their customers.

Extremely disappointed with this product. It is not as described on the website, does not work and was a complete waste of money. It took weeks to arrive as it came from China, looked cheap and nasty and had no instructions. I spent hours putting it on, it looked awful and took me hours to get off! My nails were left damaged. I have thrown the product away. Complete waste of money! The positive reviews on their website must be fake!

Honestly wish I had came here first. False advertising, not from the UK, it's cheap and nasty china product. Ruined my nails, never had damage this bad before. Don't waste your money.

If I’d read these reviews I’d not have bought. Advertises it comes in a box. Mine came in bubble wrap, as a lot of others said. My activator bottle was empty so can’t use this unless I buy a bottle from somewhere else. So not such a good deal. I tried customer service and ive made numerous comments on their site to no avail. A lot have complained about evenness etc and not being able to remove. I’ll stick to doing my gel nails they look great.

Very disappointed with these products, delivery took months with mo updates at all. Products arrived wrapped in bubble wrap no box or packaging as it shows on website. No instructions included. I found products quite difficult and messy to use. Nails look nothing like all their adverts state. Avoid this company!

DO NOT BUY ! If I could leave negative I would . Not a UK company. Shipped from china . Takes weeks to arrive . Doesn’t come in gift box just bubble wrap ( can’t give as a gift ) When you ask for refund won’t allow you as it’s gone past 14days . Paypal wouldn’t refund either now I’m £30 out of pocket . I wish I had seen the reviews before I bought. Stay away not worth more than a few quid .

I wish I had come here first before buying from this sham company.
As others have stated this arrived in a lose plastic bag without the nice display box as advertised.
I bought this as Christmas present for my wife and was really disappointed to receive it in this condition,
Not to mention all orders are picked and packed from china rather than a local online company the website leads you to believe.
Overall very disappointed and would advise others to go elsewhere!

Order arrived today in bubble wrap not in a box as advertised how on earth can you give that as a present very disapointed and at £30 not that cheap either have no idea what to do with it now.

Took over 3 weeks to arrive, thought I was ordering from the UK but came from China. First application looks pretty rubbish and now can’t remove it! Colours all look the same too

If I could give minus star rating I would! Dreadful customer service. Been waiting 3 weeks on my order and tracking has not updated in 10 days. I have emailed asking for update 3 times and been ignored. Ended up getting charge back for the cost from my bank. When ordering nothing mentions that this is coming from China. Please avoid at all costs!
