Sunjay was brilliant throughout the process of buying our house. We were first time buyers and he was very clear and patient. We had a couple of meetings before applying for a mortgage and it was great to have somebody to guide us through the process and do it in a relaxed and personable way. Having not done this before, we didn’t know how to navigate things like insurance and the sensitive information that was needed, Sunjay explained and took us through it in a way that made us feel very comfortable. Once things got started, Dominic was extremely efficient and communicated with us clearly at each stage. We couldn’t have asked for better advice and guidance.

We had a very disappointing experience with Mortgage Advice Bureau. Our circumstances were explained clearly from the start, including credit history issues and a high LTV, and we were reassured that suitable mortgage options were available. However, after months of poor communication, repeated reassurance, and multiple unsuccessful applications, it became clear that our case had not been handled with the level of care and judgment we expected.

We often had to chase for updates, and at a critical stage close to completion we were informed that our broker would be on leave without proper support in place.

What makes this even more frustrating is that another broker was able to secure us a mortgage under the same circumstances within weeks.

Overall, the service lacked transparency, urgency, and professionalism. I would never recommend anyone to deal with MAB.

I am a first time buyer and the Manning Stainton Mortgage Advice Bureau team have been so supportive through the process. The team of Sunjay and Dominic have helped me through buying a house (advice of what is needed), submitting a offer, when your offer is accepted, getting a mortgage, what insurance is needed, to just general advice. No question has been left unanswered. If I have any friends/family/co-workers who are going to go through this process I will be directing them to the MAB. Brilliant service.
