Imagine you're inside a Harry Potter novel, or Discworld, or Arabian Nights. What would you expect the airport there to be like? It's not JFK or London Gatwick... it's another world. It's not really about seeing the airport itself... it's what unveils before you once you see the majesty of this unspoilt stretch of Red Sea coast. We stayed at Casa Blue Beach Resort (*****+) which was more than worth the cost.

The airport is located in Marsa Alam. The airport is very small, check-in takes a long time. The staff are not very friendly. The food area is also not very well developed. Departures are late, the staff does not speak English. I do not recommend.
