Unfortunately my dog got sick with a bacterial infection from this dog food. $2,000 vet bill later - please don’t make my mistake. She was extremely sick. There’s lots of higher quality options like Farmers Dog without having the risk of going raw. No refund on the dog food either although it’s suspected it was contaminated.

Super quick and responsive customer service! Not to mention the product is great. My beagle has already started to lose some weight and we have tried for 4 years! Maev is great!

My dogs won’t touch this stuff. Frozen, defrosted, warmed up, with rice, with dry food, nothing. They won’t even eat the food they like if there is any of this in it.

I tried feeding it to the coyotes and wolves I have drifting through my property. They won’t touch it. The bears won’t touch it.

There is something very wrong with this “food”.

I started this for the health of my puppy,after researching food.She absolutely loves it,her coat is shiny and she’s happy.My,other older dog also loves it.I believe in feeding healthy food to my fur babies, to insure their health and wellbeing 🌸🌸

My dog absolutely devours this food! She loves it and I love that it’s so good for her. The fact that I can actually identify each and every piece of food in her bowl makes me incredibly happy and more than willing to spend the extra money on what is best for my girl. You can see the green beans the potato’s and every piece of chicken or beef. It honestly looks delicious 10/10 highly recommend!!

I have a 5 year-old Boxer who was diagnosed with "serious lifelong allergies" at six months. We've tried every medication, all kinds of foods, we spent $15,000 at a skin specialist, and still things were up and down. Along came Maev. I'm almost afraid to say anything in case I jinx her, but Cotton's coat has come back in beautifully, she has stopped getting ear infections, and she loves her food! Her being happy and content and comfortable is worth more than I can express. Thank you MAEV!

My dog loves it and I’m very impressed that we can see everything in it! No hidden fillers or chemicals! It’s so reassuring. My dog is digesting his food so much better now and going to the bathroom less. I also love that the frozen food is so much better for his dental health!

I think this is the best dog food on the market. My dog has never been healthier felt or looked better. It is just so crazy expensive.

I just placed a large order to get through my dog's pregnancy. It came partially thawed, but I knew the dogs wouldn't mind. I just figured i would be resigned to serving their food every day by hammer & shovel until my next order. It was more disappointing because it was my first time ordering the broth & it had partially melted & refroze into one big hunk. However, i reached out to Maev to let them know because I saw that it said to do so on their website. They went beyond my expectations and sent out a whole new order! Not only is the product phenomenal, but the customer service is just as good. My dogs have never been healthier and happier! Thank you Maev for making an easy and guilt free product that I can give my dogs! They don't have a choice other than to eat what they're given and I am so thankful to be able to provide them with food that won't make them unhealthy!

I had an issue managing my orders on the Maev website—I was trying to split my orders between two different addresses, but the site wouldn’t allow me to do so. I decided to reach out to the support team via email, and Stephanie was incredibly helpful. She promptly responded and took care of everything I needed. Thank you very much for the excellent support!

We’ve been loyal Maev customers since August of 2022. I’ll be honest — when we first started, the food was fantastic. You could see the quality and balance in every bag, and we felt confident feeding it to our dog.

Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill over time. Our most recent shipment of 8 bags was the last straw. Each bag had an extremely low amount of blueberries — only 10 to 20 total — despite blueberries being listed as the 5th ingredient on the label. That’s not a small variation; that’s a major inconsistency.

Even worse, all 8 bags contained an excessive amount of organ meat compared to the standard beef content. Organ meat in small amounts is fine, but this was overwhelming. It led to loose stools and, shortly after starting this batch, our dog developed a hot spot — something we’ve never dealt with before. While we can't confirm a direct cause, the timing raises concern.

Maev’s response was to offer 3 free bags. While we appreciate the gesture, it doesn't restore the trust we've lost after years of loyalty. We've decided to end our subscription permanently.

Pet nutrition is too important to play guessing games with ingredient quality. I’m sharing this review so other pet owners are aware and can make informed decisions.

Exceptional service

My dogs absolutely LOVE Maev!! The 9 year old has pancreatitis and this food is great for him. He has had absolutely no problem! My 7 year old was an intermittent faster (she would not eat til afternoon), but now she barks at me while I'm scooping Maev into her bowl if I'm not doing it fast enough!! 5 Stars for sure!!
