Mellor’s Mind Craft is AMAZING!

Lula-Rose started attending Rachel’s sessions in January 2020. Originally, we spoke to Rachel about helping Lula-Rose meet her SAT’s targets as we felt she needed a little extra help. Lula-Rose felt anxious and under pressure about taking the exams but Rachel really helped put her mind at ease. In the end Lula didn’t take her SAT’s exams as we went into the pandemic.
In the end, the pandemic is the reason we’ve stayed with Rachel. Not only did she teach Lula throughout lockdown via zoom, she did this at no extra charge, helping families that needed to cut back due to being out of work.
Lula-Rose has really struggled throughout the pandemic, she lost confidence in her abilities and she was going through some behavioural changes. Rachel is always on hand for a chat, giving advice and words of encouragement.
Rachel treats all her students as if they were her own. The happy faces I see coming out the door when it’s pick up time, is lovely to see.
I will be forever grateful to Rachel, she’s not just our daughters tutor, she’s become a great friend.

Rachel is the most amazing tutor for my son who is in year 5. He lost all of his confidence during lockdown and Rachel has managed to turn this around in a very short space of time. My son loves going to his lessons and never complains. Rachel is extremely kind to the children and they have lots of fun whilst also learning. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Rachel has been a fantastic for my son,before the pandemic he was struggling with basic things, such as his hand writing letter formation and reading and maths ,Rachel’s skill at delivering enjoyable and interactive lessons to my son has been a revelation, his confidence has increased dramatically and his school reports are pleasing to read. I cannot recommend Mellor's mind craft highly enough.

Our experience with Mellors Mindcraft right from initial contact has been nothing but positive. Rachel is a master of her craft. My son started with her earlier this year, after lockdowns really took their toll on his education and we were desperate for somebody to help us outside of what school could provide. With SATs tests on the horizon, we were in panic mode. Fom the get go Rachel put her arm around us both and told us she had us. And she absolutely does. The skills my son has learnt in a few short months is incredible and the confidence she has given him has filtered into all areas of his life, not just his education. I will never be able to thank Rachel enough for all that she has done and continues to do, and I know for sure that we couldn't be in safer hands.

Amazing tutor. My daughter loved going to Rachel and came on so much. Rachel is so lovely and made the children feel right at home. My child had an individual assessment to see exactly what she needed and all her work was tailored to her needs.

We came to Rachel at Mellors Mindcraft as our little boy was really struggling with his daily school work, had become very withdrawn due to this and as a result, his confidence in all areas of his life had become affected.

Rachel is excellent at confidence-building..to the point my son has recently received an award at school for confidence and assisting other children in the class, this is just one example, but there have been many!

We originally came to Rachel in January 2020; our son Jake was struggling at school due to relocation and a poor school choice at the time. Our son was put on the SEN register once arriving at his new school.

Upon assessment, Rachel assured us that Jake didn’t require a place on the SEN register and he simply had gaps with him missing school, being a July birthday and maturity.

Thanks to Rachel, Jake is now where he should be. He’s off the SEN register ( as Rachel advised) excelling in reading and his confidence is oozing.

Rachel was absolutely amazing with all the children. Really able to focus on areas where they need additional support without leaving the rest of the group out. Really approachable outside of session times too. Makes all children really enjoy learning.
