We subscribed to both the physics and chemistry kits. Both were great. The experiments are good and demonstrate the concepts well but are short enough that they take minimal time and effort to complete. The experiments aren't the standard baking soda and vinegar reaction experiments. They are more complicated experiments but delivered in an easy to understand format. I would recommend these to anyone. My kids are 10, 12 and 14.

If I could just talk to someone to buy their products.
All I get is an answering machine with NO call backs.
I don't think they have a clue what customer service is.

Now hopefully this will get them to call me, they have my phone number in the numerous voice mails I have left.

Finally got through and talked to Marsha (who was very nice ); but could not take an order over the phone and told me they could not send out two e-mails at a time (me and her mother for each item) (we are not related).
So we are still holding at 1 star. I am going to try the kits for the little girl in spite of bad customer service.

Our kids enjoyed the kits. Excellent learning tools. The kits gave our kids the thrill of building and learning all in one. Since our kids have out-grown the kits we have switched them to the MEL-MED program and they are looking forward to it.

My daughter has loved Mel Science kits. They have been a great activity for her and her friends. Its a fantastic way to keep them engaged with healthy activities. I highly recommend. Thanks Mel Science!

We enjoyed Mel Science kits. They were always well packaged, well thought out and fun as well as informative. The danger aspect was a hit too.

The subscription was fantastic. I loved it as a parent and my 7 year old daughter loved it. Each month a new experiment arrived. We were amazed and engaged. We learned a lot about chemical reactions and the chemicals we used. I would recommend this to any science lover.

We love the instructions and the ingredients that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to purchase in small quantities. My kids love a bit of the “danger” because they feel they are getting to perform real experiments. We also love learning the background of the experiments too.

This was a great experience for us! Our son is really into science and wanted to dive into hands-on experiments but we were intimidated. After researching, we thought MEL would be just the ticket. He could see and do the science that sparked his interest and we could have easy kits and instructions so we wouldn’t have to plan, shop, and prepare a curriculum. Perfect kits that were great prompts for play dates. We got to see how happy and excited every kid was to get to work through the experiments.

We really enjoyed this product. It's well done overall- easy to follow instructions and equipment provided was also excellent. This made chemistry attainable and not something to be feared. The customer support is also excellent- very responsive! back to it though!"

I would highly recommend MEL Science. We enrolled to give our children and more hands on approach with the experiments and the outcome was a very positive learning experience.

We have had such a great experience with both the chemistry kits and the 
kid kits! My son absolutely loves them. Everything we've received is great quality and always worked right the first time. Their customer service has also always been great. I just can't say enough good things!

These science kits are amazing! Everything you need is included, and we learned so much. My son is 7, and he was engaged and able to do most of the experiments on his own while I helped with the instructions. There are multiple experiments per kit, and you can try them more than once. These kits will be something he can return to as he grows older to learn even more. Appreciated the app and especially the Virtual Reality viewer and app.

Great experience and experiments! Our kids ages 11 and 8 really enjoyed the process and excitement from every set! Plus all the cool gear in the starter kit is so fun and useful for other science experiments! Mel science has enriched our homeschooling experience, especially during distance learning due to covid.

Great kits, could use something in between ages, my 1st grader found the ones for him a little less challenging after he did two or three, would love to see it progress a bit after a few kits. Otherwise super fun and kept us incredibly engaged during a stressful time.

Each kit has everything needed for the experiment and helps make kids feel like an actual scientist. The experiments are fun and (of course) educational, and my daughter looks forward to one arriving in the mail. MEL Science is a quality experience.

We've really loved the chemistry kits. They have give my kids and me several really fun experiences. Thanks for bringing high level chemistry experiences and supplies to our homes. These are so much better than standard chemistry sets.

Fun stuff for kids! My kids really enjoyed it for the whole year

We loved the kits and how simple the instructions were to follow and how prepared all of the supplies were. I enjoyed doing the activities with my kids. I felt like the kits were a great value for the price. Only stopped because we are too busy with other activities now.

We absolutely love Mel Science. There is a different kit with multiple short experiments in each shipment. We have had a great time learning and growing with Mel Science! Would highly recommend this product/subscription!
