I recently attended the strengths and difficulties questionnaire training with Marcus, as although I currently use SDQ’s in my role, I wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed anything and was interrupting the scores correctly.
I thoroughly enjoyed the training and got so much more from it than I was expecting. Marcus explained the course content really well and gave us chance to ask questions related to our own experience of using the SDQ.
A great course that I would highly recommend.

The training was interesting and it should be used in every setting for children across the UK. This could be used when children move schools/ areas.

Clear, concise and relevant training.

Very clear, concise, short course to understanding and interpreting the SDQ questionnaire. I have been able to advise many colleagues of appropriate interventions to suit their individuals as well as using the information to tailor bespoke programmes for the individuals I teach.

Training was delivered via zoom. We had a small class which made it easier to ask questions as we went along, rather than all at the end. Easy to follow and interesting. Two hour training went fast, but a quick 5 min break in the middle would have been appreciated.

This was fantastic training- I have been using the SDQ for a while but had not realised until attending this course just how valuable and meaningful the information that came from the questionnaire could be.
The course was delivered online and was 2 hours long but that time was time well spent. Instructions and information shared were clear and any queries were addressed in the moment. This was a fantastic course and I have to confess I kept having a little grin to myself because not only was the course really good, but it was also FREE!!
Marcus was an excellent facilitator and I would definitely recommend this course to others (In fact I already have! several times!)

I found the training really interesting . I work as an ELSA and use STQ assessments in my work but now have a deeper understanding going forward.

The experience with the company was brilliant. Small enough to care about individuals but working very professionally. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, making the training an enjoyable interesting experience. I came away being able to use the information straight away. Being able to complete the SDQ questionairre and interpret results to help direct individuals towards the correct therapy gives huge confidence working in this area.

This is the most comprehensive training I have received in a long time. I would wholeheartedly recommend the course for any Practitioner working with children and young people.
I feel fully equipped to use the Strengths and Difficulties questionnaire and interpret the data in order to support the children in my care. The evidence the assessment produces will be invaluable as part of our APDR cycles and any onward referrals needed.
The course resources are thorough and easy to follow, complimenting the course delivery.

I would highly recommend this excellent FREE training to any Teachers SENDCOs Play therapists or affiliated staff who work in schools using the SDQ Parent and Teacher assessment forms. Great training. Balanced theory and practical well. Informative and lots of resources offered

The training was really good and useful. Marcus was great. If you haven’t done this training I recommend it 100%.

I recently attended the SDQ questionnaire training and I found it extremely useful. I now feel well equipped to complete the form with children in school and also help others in school to complete as well. I knew it was important to have a baseline prior to any intervention but didn’t feel confident doing this. Now when I use drawing and talking I’ll make sure I ask children to complete the SDQ, and once the sessions are complete, and be able to see the difference it makes. I can also make sure our trained ELSA in school is comfortable using it, as currently I don’t think they are used as standard before an intervention starts. The information on CORDS was also useful and I hope we can access this as a school in future. I’d highly recommend this thorough training course.

The course on how to make best use of Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaires was so helpful - it's completely changed the way we triage pupils with social, emotional and mental health challenges, meaning that they get the right intervention as quickly as possible (and we can measure the impact of the intervention too).

It was a short course with relevant content, the second hour wasn't relevant to my setting. I think the training especially suits companies who offer different therapeutic interventions

This training was like switching the light on! I've filled SDQs in many a time, but never really thought about how they were analysed or how the results could be acted upon.
Wow, this has totally changed my opinion. I use them in my schools to be proactive, rather than reactive.
I can't recommend this course highly enough.
