Poor experience - slow and cumbersome
I see most people have had a positive experience of this company but I have found them to be obstructive and difficult throughout. As an experienced investor hoping to find a bridging finance provider MFS were recommended via our broker. It has taken months and months with an early sticking point being an insistence on sending an agent to my house to verify my identity for a business transaction in the name of a company of which I am a director / shareholder which I thought was unusual and inappropriate. Eventually they relented and allowed the verification to take place at our office. Right now the transaction is being held up because they are unhappy with the identity verification. Which they arranged.

Very pragmatic approach

Pre-Christmas Completion.
The deal was not straight forwards but they worked with the client to get the deal done. They even worked longer in the lead up to Christmas to be able to get the deal drawn at the 11th hour to get the deal completed before Christmas. Thanks to Nabila and John for their help.

People over processes...
Specialist BTL from an intermediary perspective isn't easy to navigate however both Kayla & Destene went over and beyond to help and drive the cases forwards.
My first time dealing with MFS... yes there was teething issues and unexpected delays however with 3 cases completed this year for an aspiring foreign national landlord on a global talent visa with a significant interest in property development.
Overall:

I recently worked with Parissa and Donald on a complex application, and they were exceptional throughout the process. They were proactive, in constant communication, and navigated the back-and-forth with the credit and legal teams efficiently. Donald has always been a fantastic BDM, and Parissa was a brilliant underwriter—both on point with updates and requirements.
