We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from MGY Cardiff in selling our apartment in Cardiff Bay. From start to finish, the whole process was handled professionally and efficiently.

She took the time to clearly justify and explain her valuation, which gave us real confidence and set the tone for the entire sale. Throughout the process she was approachable, knowledgeable, and consistently proactive, keeping us informed at every stage.

Constantly chasing buyers and solicitors with a real urgency. A job very well done under very difficult circumstances. Vicci must have put more hours into this one than 10 usual sales.

I had a two viewings for rental properties with Jake Price. While I ended up not going with either property, communication with MGY (primarily with Amy Thomas via email) before, during and after the viewing was excellent. Jake was also the right combination of professional and friendly and I felt comfortable with our interactions. 10/10 would recommend viewings with MGY.

MGY Cardiff Bay sold our house (completed December 2025) and we bought our new house with MGY Pontcanna.

It may sound obvious that a company and their representatives do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it and how they say they are going to, but our experience of other Estate Agencies has taught us that this not at all common: MGY has stood out as an example of how Estate Agents should operate! Throughout the sales and purchasing process they were honest, open, reliable, helpful, friendly, punctual, and not pushy: they treated us with decency and respect.

Just some examples of their help include: booking longer viewings for us as my husband has mobility difficulties; scanning and sending documents to our solicitors for us (because our scanner was out of commission!); and helping us measure up spaces in our new home.

Super impressed with this estate agent. Normally there are lots of flaws that bug me with company processes but genuinely this has been faultless and we've actually been impressed with features they offer.

They have an automatic notification system which tells you when bookings are scheduled, then a feedback system after the booking. After a month they also send you analytics on how you're doing on rightmove.

Luca was very busy doing regular viewings and got us a great result from doing so, very personable. Also gave consistent feedback on what the viewers thought which was useful for knowing the pros and cons of the property. So we had a chance to make amendments if we wanted. Also helped us to know whether there was any serious leads or not.

We gave the company the keys and didn't visit the property at all during the viewing process. They were trustworthy and kept it in same condition it was left.

Overall, its been a great experience using this company. All the staff members we dealt with (5) were efficient, friendly and easy to navigate with. They've helped create a smooth process from start to finish, which is hard when theres high stakes as you're selling the most expensive thing you own and love.

Our property sold in a month and a half, we had listed it at slightly more than their highest estimate and achieved what they had originally estimated, which was more than another local company had valued (PA).

Do recommend.

Also the brochure/pics/vid/bio/floorplan they did looked great, highlighted the good features of the property whilst also accurately documenting for buyers.

MGY helped us sell our house. They acted at all times in a professional manner giving sound and constructive advice in order to achieve the sale. Not only did they deal with the marketing of the property, but also gave valued advice on what works needed to be undertaken in the property in order to achieve the maximum sale price. They also helped with identifying suitable contractors to undertake this work. We were kept informed throughout the process and I genuinely believe that without their help the sale would have taken longer and not achieved such a high sales value.
