I have been a customer for several years and have purchased over 200 midi files from Hit Trax. Their quality was superb. My last two orders were for their midi packs 50 files for €70 the last of which was placed in February of 2025 (not 2010). I have three credits left and decided to order another pack. Their pricing is now astronomical. €88 for 15 tracks, €190 for 45 tracks. What???? Over 250% increase in prices? I'm gone.

I’ve been a repeat customer of HitTrax for several years, and until 2024, everything went smoothly. However, in 2025/10/03, I placed a custom MIDI orders and paid a total of $138.54 upfront. Neither order was delivered, and despite multiple follow-up messages, I received no response.

The website is still active and selling existing MIDI packs, but custom orders seem to be ignored. It’s possible the business is facing staffing or operational issues, but failing to deliver paid work without any communication is unacceptable.

I trusted this service and would gladly continue using it if they resumed proper operations. I request a refund or delivery of the pending work, and an explanation for the silence.

I recently decided to try out Hit Trax after being disappointed with what has been happening with Supreme Midi. Despite never commissioning a custom midi with them before, I was impressed by the quality of offerings on their site, and tasked them with a 9 minute rock suite. It only took them 10 days to deliver a MIDI and MP3 mix.

The MIDI is highly-accurate and the price was very fair for the quality I received. To clarify for others, custom midis do indeed have vocal/harmony parts accounted for, as I found it a bit unclear on the website when ordering. Will be ordering from them again soon - highly recommend!

Fantastic midis, even better custom midis, brilliant and thorough and fast.

Bought midifiles in November 2022. One file did not have the complete arrangement at all - nothing like the sample. Have sent many many emails to the company asking what happened, several of which have been responded to with a "we'll look into it", so I know they've received my communications, but still no file (even telling them it was important/urgent b/c of an upcoming gig). IT HAS BEEN FIVE MONTHS WITH NOTHING!! Too bad, because I had wanted to order custom files as well. Other people have seemed to have good experiences, but BUYER BEWARE!!

I purchased hardware and software/midi files from HitTrax. The products AND customer service are excellent. Currency exchange and international shipping were easy. They are available and approachable post sale. They have exceeded my expectations in all facets.

There was some kind of a glitch with my order and I received 3 MP3's and 1 midi file instead of 4 midi's which of course is a problem as guitar player in a duo I need to cancel out bass and guitar. The problem was fixed immediately by John in Customer Service and I now have 4 midi files at no extra cost to me. If I can't write my own files I have always used Hit Trax productions as we find them in the duo, the best.

Sent them two emails after receiving my order and one midifile won't load. I explained the problem and didn't even get the courtesy of a reply. I have purchased many midifiles over the year's with no issues.

UPDATE :Hittrax have contacted me and resolved the issue.

I purchased a custom file and sent the original mp3/youtube. Unfortunately the on line original was slightly off key and this was duplicated during the conversion to midi. This midi therefore cannot be played with other musical accompaniment and hence would be a waste of money.
However since this initial post Hit Trax has contacted me and indicated they will fix the problem so I am adding a few stars

Over the past 2 years, I have purchased over a dozen MIDI file arrangements, majority are great, a few not so; overall they are worth the price/value. I convert these files into my Finale Notation program and use for educational purposes only. I have not been able to retrieve any chord symbol notation, or lyrics with my purchases. Are these included and I just do not know how to retrieve them? Can they be available with request at time of purchase? Thanks!

Hit Trax have been delivering high quality MIDI files and backing tracks to my inbox monthly. I’ve purchased about twenty tracks and they’re AMAZING! It frees me up to focus on learning to sing and play those songs on my steel drums. Thanks John and the Hit Trax Team!

Hit Trax produced a very superb, high quality backing track for an Arabic arrangement. It was a few weeks later than promised, but we’ll worth the wait. I didn’t need them right away either. I bought a few other tracks as well. They’re all exceptional. And it frees me up to do more practicing/playing. The instrumentation was amazingly done. I can’t wait to play this song! Thank you John & the team at HitTrax.

I have a discussion with the management of Hit Trak midi files and have to a satisfactory conclusion. I now withdraw my previous problem.

Received MIDI files and MP3 backing tracks for three tunes that I special ordered from HitTrax. The productions arrived via email within a few days as promised. The quality of the productions are exceptional. Intricate rhythms and time changes were reproduced beautifully. Instrumentation was fantastic allowing me too bring a live sound to my performance. I am truly a fan. Thank you John & the team at HitTrax.

Friendly, prompt service and high quality files. Had a nice experience buying from this site - it was easy to navigate, the product description was very detailed and clear. In addition, they were nice enough to provide mp3 versions of the files, since I initially purchased only midi.
