Excellent service from start to finish. This is the 3rd procedure I have had and every time has been excellent. Would definitely recommend

I can’t recommend this place highly enough, I feel we are very lucky to have this in the Midlands. Dr Shah, the wider team, the service overall, the follow up and the results following my CXL and laser eye surgery procedure have all been exceptional. I wish I’d visited them years ago and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I'm amazed at the improvement in my vision since having surgery at Midland Eye Clinic. I no longer need glasses for driving & colours appear more vibrant than pre-op. Definitely reccommend treatment here and thank you Mr Dong Park and colleagues for your care before, during and after surgery.

I recently underwent cataract surgery at Midland Eye and was thoroughly impressed by their exceptional service and professionalism. From the warm welcome at reception to the attentive care from the nurses and support staff, every aspect was seamless. The surgical team explained the procedure in detail, ensuring I felt confident and informed and the follow-up care was outstanding. My vision has dramatically improved, exceeding my expectations. Professionalism from start to finish when I had cataract surgery.The receptionist was very polite & all the medical staff were excellent.I was very nervous was put at ease by the kindness if all involved with the procedure.

Two cataracts sorted in very speedy time frame. So effortless and quick I was so impressed by everyone at Midland Eye. Following on from procedures I had a small dangly lump removed and it was so great to get rid of the scratchy thing that had rubbed my eye for ages. Thank you so much Midland Eye. Improved my life no end.

I visited midland eye after a bad experience with another clinic. I went to see Professor Shah to get a second opinion as I was not happy with the outcome of my eyes that I had already had done by another clinic . After reading his review on line I booked in with him. I was very anxious on the day of my visit due to the bad experience I had previous l had. From the moment I walked into the clinic I got a good feeling the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and from that moment on every member of staff engage in providing a seamless professional service that I couldn't fault. The checks I had before I went to see Professor Shah was extremely thorough and not rushed and everything was explained to me. It was also very comforting that when I was sat in the waiting room 3 patient was saying how amazing Professor Shah is and that I was in the best hands.
When I went in to see Professor Shah it was like a breath of fresh air and compared to my previous consultant they were like chalk and cheese! it was the first time after 13 weeks of hell that I felt listened too and also felt confident in what he was saying to me , I just wish I found Professor Shah sooner ! After my appointment I have sent a few Emails to Sarah and she has also been so amazing and has come back to me straight away with all the answers. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

The staff are very professional, polite and helpful. I felt really at ease. Everything was explained, I can't thank my Surgeon enough for giving me my sight back. I would highly recommend it anyone who needs to go there. Especially for cataracts.

Efficient yet friendly organisation. The admin and surgical staff made the whole procedure a stress free experience.

Racist, unprofessional and disrespectful. Seen us for 3 minutes didn’t analyse my eye at all and Made a racial remark “you learnt some English today” would never ever visit this clinic again.

Midland Eye have cared for my elderly father so very well. Mr Barua is so very skilled and is kind and reassuring. The model of professionalism. We are so grateful for the excellent treatment and courtesy shown.

I had been a little anxious about having my second cataract op, but was quickly put at ease by the kindness of the consultant, and no sooner had I entered the operating room, that it seemed the experience was behind me. It was fine. Always a slightly strange experience but certainly not painful. Result has been very good. Thank you.

Customer Service is very good indeed. Within days I had an appointment. My Consultant was excellent, and he gave me every reassurance. I had complete confidence in him.

Had Cataract removal and lens implant in February in my left eye which really had its challenges anyway, having previously had a Corneal graft. Mr Barua, Kate and all the Nurses were brilliant from booking right the way through to the post op. I was so pleased I booked to have my right eye done asap. My Right eye was done on March 15th and immediately I could tell it was amazing. This was the best decision I’ve ever made, and I am now glasses free for the first time in 40 years. The team at Midland Eye are amazing, and I shall always be grateful to Mr Barua for his pleasant manner and great service

My first cataract operation was via an NHS referral. No interaction with consultant who completely blanked me. He did do a very good job though. My second cataract operation (about 2 months later) was private and, although I had the same consultant, he was a changed man! Very nice and chatty and empathetic. The fact that I was paying for this should not be the reason for this change but I just don't know. Also he said ( and I have this in writing) that he treated the astigmatism in my left eye and that my vision was 6/6 in each eye after both procedures. After extremely thorough tests at the opticians it was found that there was no change to my astigmatism and that I did not have 6/6 vision in each eye. Concerned at the consultant's attitude and at the inconsistencies.

This was a check up following removal of a cataract. I was dealt with in 10 minutes and all was well. Now booked for similar procedure on right eye
