I booked an appointment for physio as I had issues with a slight foot injury. After a few sessions with Steve this had improved significantly. After his initial diagnosis which was very thorough he gave me some ongoing exercises which were a big help enough for me to complete a Half Marathon in early April which at my first appointment with him was looking very unlikely.
I was very impressed with Steve right from the start, he is very personable & explains everything very clearly.
I would highly recommend Varney Green Physiotherapy.

The Varney Green clinic were recommended by a friend,from initial call,through to final physio session with Steve,the service offered was knowledgeable,friendly and most effective. Reception team very welcoming and professional. From first session with Steve,I felt I had a good knowledge of my shoulder injury ,what they were doing and what I had to do to move forward after months of pain. For me,they helped massively and got me pain free and back to work. Very grateful for the help received.

Been to see Steve with two separate thigh muscle (front and back) football injuries over the last six months. Steve was very meticulous in his questioning at the outset to ensure he understood the extent of the injuries before moving on to the required treatment. He used a mixture of manipulation, machines, sports tape and the dreaded strengthening exercises that you always get, but don’t want to do. On both occasions I got the results I required. On top of this Steve was very personable and encouraging, always showing a positive attitude. Thanks Steve!

I feel like they showed a lot of care to my injury and payed a lot of attention to what I wanted to do and get out of coming to the physio. They helped me recover well as well as giving me things to continue in the future to keep building strength in my ankle.

I visited the Harlow clinic on Thursday for the first time and had a deep tissue massage with sports therapist Rachel. I was super impressed on how lovely and friendly the team were. They made me feel very welcomed.

I needed a massage because I had a very painful knot in the back of my right shoulder. Rachel was very nice and extremely professional. She sorted out my issues very quickly and also gave me useful advice and tips on how keep my muscles healthy. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Harriet is honestly such an amazing physiotherapist not only in her job but she is soo kind and easy to talk to. I looked forward to each of my sessions. She really helped with my recovery process and i will definitely request her if i need physio again!!

Harriet has and still is keeping me mobile she is aa very professional physio and I would definitely recommend her

I have seen Harriet numerous times over the last year for various running related ailments, all of which she has managed to cure. It is a pleasure to be treated by Harriet, she knows her stuff, always puts me at ease and I always leave having chatted and laughed alot. She is everything a healthcare professional should be :-)

I've been seeing Harriet for a couple of years now with various running / neck injuries and she is fantastic. Very knowledgeable and has a great manner, would highly recommend! The receptionists are also excellent!

I have been seeing Harriet for treatment for a while following a knee injury. She has worked with me to get an MRI, to give advice following a disappointing consultant’s appointment and know has me doing weights in the gym to strengthen my knee. I can honestly say that with her advice and expertise my knee is 100x better than this time last year. She is friendly and approachable. Harriet takes time to explain what she’s doing and what the injury related to. I honestly couldn’t recommend her highly enough

When we moved into the area I had an injury and tore my meniscus and was treated by Harriet both prior to corrective surgery and post surgery for rehabilitation. Harriet was fantastic and made a huge difference to my recovery, I would go as far as saying my knee is now stronger than before my accident. Harriet is kind, considerate, very thorough and a just a lovely person to be treated by. I would highly recommend both Harriet and the team at Varney.

Brilliant physio, Harriet is great in puckeridge and so convenient as I live in the village, the rest of the team are also brilliant as have been to the Harlow site a few times when puckeridge was fully booked.
Can recommend highly!

I have been seeing Harriet for help to strengthen my knees whilst I am waiting for a knee replacement. She is supportive and explains everything to me in a way that no other health care worker has. She has helped me stave off the inevitable operation and has helped me stay mobile. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I came to Steve with quite a bad hamstring tear, a recurring problem, we started off with some treatment and then straight into strengthening the muscle. I saw a ridiculous amount of progress from when I started to the day I left. I had my first football game back yesterday and I have never felt stronger and fitter than yesterday and no injuries!
I must also say Steve was one of the nicest people I have met a fantastic character and personality. Couldn’t be happier with my experience.

I have been receiving treatment from Aimee for a variety of issues and always found her very professional, knowledgeable and providing treatments that really have helped. She recommended Rachal for some therapeutic massage treatment which has been equally helpful. Both girls are also very personable and caring.

I have been having physiotherapy sessions with Aimee after I was hit by a reversing car which resulted in my dominant arm being very badly injured. Aimee is very professional, knowledgeable and confident. She is always cheerful and friendly. She has supported me both physically and mentally which has helped me to cope through this dark period of my life. Nothing is too much trouble. Each week she tailors my exercises as I progress and motivates me at each and every stage. I will always be indebted to Aimee. I have recommended her to all my friends. Thank you Aimee.

Rachel has been fantastic it helping me through injury and preventing more injuries. Rachael has really listened and understood my needs which has made me go back time and time again.

I have been treated by Aimee for a frozen shoulder and back problems. I have always felt reassured and relaxed. Aimee is extremely professional and I have had excellent results . I highly recommend Aimee for your physio needs.

Very professional practice. Physios are experienced and knew how to treat my condition. I’m in a lot less pain.

I want to let everyone know how wonderful Steve is!
I’ve been seeing him with a back injury (a disc issue which then went to sciatica) since the start of October and he has been amazing. He’s polite, respectful and so knowledgeable and I feel he’s been essential in my recovery.
Steve has answered all my questions, thoroughly explained what I needed to do to get better and why and gave me hope when I thought I would never be able to bend again!! Sounds dramatic but honestly, it’s true.
I am now all but recovered and can finally bend so I wanted to let everyone know how fantastic Steve is and I will be recommending him to anyone else who is unfortunate enough to find themselves in the boat I was in.
If Varney Green Physio has an employee of the month scheme, Steve HAS to get it this month 😊
