Excellent!! Cant rate Alan highly enough. After a knee replacement 6 months ago - needed help to improve my mobility- after the first session I had improved so much .

Whilst gardening recently, bending lifting and so on I strained my lower back which was quite painful ( maybe shouldn’t be gardening too much at 82! ). However I was able to make an appointment with Stuart who I must say was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and supportive and my recovery was sooner and better than I anticipated. Would, without reservation, recommend North Yorkshire Physiotherapy.

I made an appointment with Alan after research for a good physio through recommendations after badly damaging my knee & ending up on crutches. He diagnosed the injury and explained what was going on with it - being an ex runner I like to know the details! I have had treatment (including acupuncture) which has really helped and exercises to do through the online portal. Being in the older age group it is getting there and I'm able to do a lot more now - thanks Alan :)

Excellent experience at NorthYorkshire Physiotherapy.
They helped me recover from my knee pain.
If you follow their advice and exercise plan the results will happen!!

I had a full bike fit at Stokesley with North Yorkshire Physiotherapy and it was excellent. I was measured and tested for flexibility and movement, then videos on the bike , analyses of findings, adjustments then videod again before evaluating findings. It felt much more comfortable on the bike by the end of the session I was impressed with the improvement. I can 100% recommend a bike fit with Stokesley Physio, they are very professional and have state of the art equipment.

I came to a consultation with Lauren, who was excellent. Her diagnosis process was reassuring, very well-informed and sensitive. The treatment she gave was impressive in that she targeted, perfectly, what was I felt a fairly non-specific problem, then gave me a number of stretches and exercises. I saw Jess on my previous visit, and like her, Lauren was a credit to her profession.
I will repeat what I said in my last review, that I have attended (as a runner and cyclist, prone to injury) a number of physiotherapists over a 40 year period. Lauren (and Jess), are by some margin the best representatives of their profession you could wish to meet. At £48 for the session, they provide phenomenal value.

After my knee replacement, I was nervous about getting back on my feet — but thanks to Niamh at North Yorkshire Physio, I’ve made an incredible recovery. From the very first session, she put me at ease with her calm, professional approach and deep understanding of post-surgical rehab.

She created a personalised plan that pushed me just enough without ever feeling overwhelming, and she explained each stage of my progress clearly and confidently. I always felt supported, listened to, and motivated.

I genuinely couldn’t have asked for better care. I’m now walking with confidence, pain-free, and back to enjoying daily life — all thanks to Niamh. Highly recommended for anyone recovering from a knee replacement!

Due to suspected sciatica in my right leg, I opted to seek the help of a Physiotherapist. Having read the reviews and being recommended by another health professional, I chose North Yorkshire Physiotherapy. The service from this practice was excellent, from diagnosis, to hands on manipulation and fully demonstrated exercises to do at home. I was very very pleased with the whole experience and I am happy to say I am very close to my normal health and would like to say a very big thank-you to Jess Wincote for all her help and expert knowledge.I would highly recommend this practice and would not hesitate to return should I experience any future joint/muscular issues

I cannot rate this company highly enough. From making the initial appointment on their easy-to-use website through to eventual discharge it was a pleasure. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and so thorough. Jess was so upbeat and positive, her enthusiasm got me through a difficult rehabilitation and back playing a sport I love when the NHS had given up.

Having had a recent bout of Frozen Shoulder (a constraint previously to this unknown to me), Alan has diligently worked on it to see me through the frozen stage and back to a functioning arm. Alan has been very patient and proscribed excellent exercises for me to do at home to help to loosen it. Great service, and highly recommended.

I suffering from chronic back pain which was affecting my work/life balance. I had been prescribed painkillers but I didn’t want to reply on medication just to get by.
A friend suggested physio.
I made an appointment at North Yorkshire Physiotherapy and it’s been amazing. I have more movement, I’m fitter and healthier and I don’t have to take painkillers anymore!

The practice was one of three options offered to me through Bupa. I initially chose this one because the woman who took my initial call was quick to answer and help and I got an appointment through the office almost immediately. Niamh helped me with my physiotherapy programme for my upper shoulder. She was friendly, enthusiastic, professional and helpful. I completed the programme with a huge increase in my ability to move my shoulder without pain. The practice is clean and professional looking. The reception staff welcoming. Thank you for a good experience.

Dallas was highly recommended by my friends from triathlon club. I'd been experiencing knee pain (IT band issues) which was putting me off cycling. Dallas told me that running injuries shouldn't be exacerbated by cycling, he adjusted my bike (which it turned out was a size too big) and I haven't had any problems since, only PBs. Thank you so much for your help! :) I'm enjoying my cycling more than ever now.

I have had professional consultations with Kate on several occasions for different ailments. She is reassuring, highly knowledgeable and great at pinpointing problems, issues and possible causes and remedies. I still practice hip and back flexibility exercises prescribed 4 years ago.

Jess helped me greatly to recover after breaking my hip. The exercises made me stronger and restored my confidence. The treatment has made a real improvement to my life.

Jess is brilliant. She has helped my back massively and I am no longer waking up in agony daily! An all round great and responsive service; I would highly recommend.

Had some physio on my right knee recently. I've had two sessions with Jess & it has improved a lot. I got a number of stretches to do as well as advice on how to train in the gym to build up the strength in my hamstrings to assist the whole knee/thigh area. Always excellent service with the North Yorkshire Physio team.

Went to see Jess for a sports massage around a long term hip injury, she was incredible, very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. The clinic was very welcoming place to be and was very clean with some very useful technology to help with some of my treatment.

Would 100% recommend! Thank you for your help, will be back again!
