ONE WORD “IT IS A DOG SH….” DONT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING THEM.
I got this so-called insurance because I am a Senior Citizen and sadly have to have Insurance according to STATE LAWS that are out in place to rip off the public( Major RIPOFF) even though I do not DRIVE anywhere due to working from home. I started out paying $24.00 a month ' and then after 6 months they raised it to $30.00 a month...Get this, same Odometer number and more money..What a rip-off as usual. I tried to call today, to see why I didn't get my renewal information , and was told I was cancelled due to another Insurance Company has bought them out..Oh and that after being hung up on numerous times and rudely spoken to by one of the claims people ( female) and talking to me like I am so kind of MORON.Not Appreciated at all. I say never ever deal with this SO called Insurance people..Reminds me of a "Bait and Switch" Company..Or an elaborate Ponzi Scheme to screw you out of your money.
I have always been able to reach someone. I was sideswiped by a driver. Trying to go around me at a stop sign. She accelerated and totaled my car. No License and no insurance. I called from the scene of the accident. They followed up with me with an email. Explained the process. Gave me the adjusters name and number.
They picked up my car. The only thing is. The towing company damaged my backseat with parts. So I would recommend taking pictures of your car. They were going to deduct $$_My car was in new condition. They corrected that. A reasonable payoff to my lender was sent via USPS. Problem with mail? I called. They overnighted a new payoff so I wouldn't get a 30 day late.
One statement was wrong on my odometer reading. Listed more miles than I had driven? I called. Proved an error. It was corrected. My milage was 122k. Statement 125k? The amount per mile wasn't the same. Just pay attention to your statement and odometer correctness. You have pictures from the previous month. Odd about that. The Customer Service people are the nicest to deal with. The issues were resolved. Just being calm and explaining things works both ways ☺️
Had me digitally sign all the forms, take my odometer reading etc. The told me after calling 8 times that I had to reapply. Drop them like a bad habit. USELESS!!!

Reasons why they take forever to answer
They don’t report so when you go look for other insurance it will be like you didn’t have insurance for however long you were with them.
They “don’t record phone calls” so it doesn’t matter what they say to you, they won’t honor it when you call back to discuss it further.
I haven't had to file a claim as of yet and hope I never have to. I will say though that I was a little scared about coming over after reading some of the reviews but I saw worse reviews with Geico whom I was with and couldn't stand!! My experience with Mile Auto has been the mist pleasant experience I've ever had with a insurance company. Whether I reach out via phone or email I literally never have an issue.
I had such stellar experience with Alexandra Waters from the Austin location. She was so patient, professional, and courteous. If customer service was in a diet then her picture would be next to it. Best customer service experience of the year thus far!!
SAVE YOURSELF. DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE.
Their customer service line says their hours of operation are from 9am-6pm. Yet I have called doing those business hours numerous times to get the message “our office is currently closed. I attempted to cancel my policy and have received no confirmation or reimbursement in 10days. I called the claims li e as it was the only way I could speak to a human. They said they have no knowledge of why customer service is always closed and cannot help me. ridiculous.
Heather was just outstanding! I’m not going to go full into detail but the previous lady that I had talked to in customer service was super rude and gave me attitude when I was asking questions about a refund of mine. Heather, was so patient, calm and understanding and she broke down what I was refunded for, why, and went into detail about my questions. Not only that, but she was so sweet and just made a weight lift off my shoulders. Heather if you’re reading this, thank you again for really helping me!!
Had my truck stolen filed a claim and never heard from the claims department again. Kelly wier the claims manager is the slowest most unprofessional I've dealt with. This company overcharges for the poor service they provide. The prices may be reasonable but believe they will overcharge deny claims and underdeliver what their own Trust Prospectus 8k and 10k form requires. They are committing Securities fraud on the American People. As we all are originally insured through Social security
Yes it was a wonderful experience. Heather did a awesome job. Very helpful an super friendly. Which made my day because I woke up this morning teary eyed an depressed worrying about life. But Heather's bubbly spirit an humor make me feel so much better. I almost didn't wanna get off the phone with her. She explained everything accurately an im so glad I called today an she was the one to assist me. Never was she impatient with me or rushing me off the phone. She was very patient. I will always remember this call with this agent because I understand everything what was needed on this call an she truely uplifted my spirit! Keep her, every company an businesses need yall's Heather!!!!!
Mile Auto has no sense of good work ethics. They are broad daylight thieves. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Mile Auto, and I must express my profound disappointment with the level of service I received. From start to finish, my interactions with the company were nothing short of frustrating and disheartening. I was overcharged for a premium and when I asked them about it, they kept evading the question and gave unreasonable explanations. I kept pushing until they finally said they had a problem with their system. First and foremost, I'm glad I did my due diligence, otherwise I would have been cheated. Mile Auto are crooks

DON'T USE MILE AUTO!! I ignored all the terrible reviews here and used them anyways but they are a TERRIBLE company! They have poor customer service. Jeannie Rappold and the poor customer service would treat you like SCUM. I was extremely fortunate enough to gain more from them than I spent
The only reason I’m giving this company a 1 star is because they don’t have an option for -10 stars! Do not waste your hard earned money with this company! The customer service is horrible the agents that work for this company are rude! I got a quote from them and I paid my down payment and then the following month they charged my credit card 3 times the amount they quoted me! I have told them numerous of times to cancel my policy and they refuse to do it because they don’t want to refund you any money! So they charged my card again! Luckily my credit card is putting fraudulent charges on them and the credit card company already credited my money back. So do yourself a favor and stay clear of these scammers!
I saw the reviews but still went and got Mile Auto! Worse mistake... I paid all that money just for a couple of months and for it to get cancelled??? When my 1st policy had to be renewed it said I had to call bc payment didn't go through. I eventually did call them a couple of days after only to find out that I couldn't renew because they are no longer taking applicants??? What type of company refuses to take applicants? That makes no sense! The same thing happened to this other guy below my review. I am just glad it only lasted for a couple of months. I am just going to get liability w/ another company bc the car I have now is just for the moment. And I am going to call them again to let them know that they are the worst and should be ashamed of themselves for having such a business.
I had a very bad experience with Miles Auto. Do not chose this company. Please do not waste your time and money.
The app doesn't work. You submit a picture and then they don't log your miles and then they charge you 1000 miles by default! My bill was more than $100 more than it should have been. Don't sign up. The app is clunky.
