I do not recommend this real estate agency at all.
- informed former property manager (Yogesh Bhutta) of broken window 18/11/2025
- Per Victorian rental laws a window is considered to be an urgent repair and if not repaired the home does not meet the minimum standard of a home in Victoria
- Window was finally repaired 17/05/26

The window took FIVE MONTHS to be repaired despite multiple calls, emails and texts to Yogesh. 30/03/25 is when Yogesh stated in writing that he and the home owner were denying the repair of the window, which again is considered an urgent repair and because of this fault the home is not considered to meet the minimum standards of homes in Victoria.

Yogesh is no longer the property manager of this rental (was not informed) but I have been in a back and forth with Pranay (do not know if she is appointed property manager as I wasn’t informed) regarding a possible rent reduction as I was living in a home that did not meet minimum standards for five months - she stated that within a week of her role she was able to have the window repaired, which is great, however, this confirms that this issue should’ve and could’ve been addressed/repaired much sooner and within the timeframe of when an urgent repair should actually be attended to and I know for sure it isn’t five months!

Pranay is trying to shift the blame onto Yogesh solely and refuses to take accountability for the failure to maintain the property minimum rental standards, I do not see why I should have to bare the consequences of internal staffing changes, responsibility lies with the the managing agency, which she/they are trying to avoid.

Last communication from Pranay was 06/05/26, I have not heard from her since then, despite two follow up emails 11/05/26 and 12/05/26.

I would avoid this company at all costs, it is clear as day they think they are above the law, they manage homes and allow tenants to live in them knowing it does not meet the minimum standards here in Victoria, they refuse to take accountability and the communication with them is just flat out shocking.

Also to note, I was without hot water for nine days at this property - again, company and Yogesh failed to take accountability for this.

Absolutely disgusting

I found Milestone estates through one line website. From the first response we were met with a very polite Landlord, was very kind and helpful. Paperwork was organised promptly, which enabled myself and family to settled very quick. We love our property. Since being a tenant the landlord has been very helpful and understanding. Compassionate and honest which you very rarely get these days with agencies.

Milestones is by far the BEST estate agent I’ve ever come across. The team is friendly and polite and have a real willingness to help. Above all, I absolutely loved the service provided by John who is understanding, empathetic and simply just AMAZING .
Basically if you want efficient service then John is the man!

This company is excellent! I’m renting a property from them and they are nothing but helpful. The staff are very polite and helped me along the way for everything. 100% recommend!

I’m a tentant from this agency and I’ve been receiving great service, problems are handled immediately with no delay and they are always reliable. The landlord and managers are amazing aswell, always on standby, very friendly and looks after their tenants.

Brilliant service, me and my room mates were desperately seeking suitable accommodation i the university area at very short notice and luckily milestone provided us with a recently refurbed house and have always been professional in dealing with us

No one responds to emails or calls until they want more money. Don’t fix the house even when it’s in a state of disrepair.
contract is with milestone and collected keys from there but apparently contract is through a family friend and nothing to do with them! All very odd!
Have had to take legal advice which I didn’t want to do as costly but no other choice 😔

We have used Mile Estate Agents for a couple of lets. For us its all about finding the 'right' tenants and we are very happy with the tenants provided

Milestone Estates have made looking for a new property to rent very easy. Great communication from start to finish. Highly recommend using them.

A very bad business - staff are non exaistant, inexperienced and rude... looks like no one is working when you go by the shop front and for when I walked in to discuss renting my properties out, It very disappointing to be passed on a scruffy man in a side office who came across very rude and not very helpful, he couldn’t care that I was looking at giving the agency my business but instead was more interested in himself... overall I would give a -1 star if I could.... read this and think before you approach them!

Very genuine staff, helped me find what I was looking for. 5 stars :)
