Been ordering the 72 can deal for 3+ years. I appreciate prices increase, but the excuses of 'our costs have risen' no longer works, as the cost of everything has peaked and they already increased their prices to reflect this.

The last time I ordered from them, it was £105 for 72 cans.

Now the maximum 'wet food multi deal' is 48 cans for £96! An increase in price of almost 40%!!!!

Needless to say, we won't be ordering from these guys again.

I phoned the company for an explanation and the girl just said, 'the owners have decided to increase the prices'!

40%!

You just lost a customer for life.

**Update to the response from Millies Wolfheart. Too little, too late. I've now switched my dog to another brand. And big deal you reintroduced the 72 can deal, it still meant an increase of over 30% overnight. A really shoddy way to treat loyal customers. No way I would trust you again, my dog deserves better than us being taking for a ride by an unscrupulous supplier. Plenty other suppliers out there, and to be honest his new food seems to have improved his bowel movements. No way I'd switch back now!

Been loyal to this brand for years now, have been using the 72 tin deal & have stood by them through the last several years when the price increased £5 every time I ordered for a couple of years. It went from roughly £1 per tin to £1.50 a 33% increase.
So I go online today, there is no 72 tin deal, only 48, which mean I’m now expected to pay £2 per tin! Another 33% per increase!
A good product, but not that good, not when you’re obviously price gouging.
Never mind, another formerly decent company falls to the seemingly irresistible lure of money over loyalty 🤷🏻‍♂️

The food seems good but just went to order & the price has risen again! Can't justify paying £69 for a 14kg bag.

My dog really enjoyed wet food from Millies and I have been with this company since 2022 but unfortunately this month has been my last order as the prices rise incredibly high. Also there is no discount for regular customers.

I don't feel like this company have been very transparent recently. We have ordered hunters mix for years and in recent months the quality of the kibble has changed and it also looks different too yet there has been no communication to regular customers either via email or on the website about changes that have been made to the food we are feeding. There has also been a price increase since we last ordered, quite a steep one! Last order for 48 tins was £75.99, now £95.99, that's an increase of 26%! Again, zero communication from them to long time customers and nothing on their website either!

Have just had a fab and very informative conversation with Alison from Millie's wolfheart regarding my 3 dogs. She was so helpful and even put up with so much chaos on my end as well which was so lovely. She was very informative about the products suitable for my dogs and I can't wait to get them started! Been using Millie’s for years for my 6 boxers never had a problem. They love it. Fantastic customer service great advice.

Have used Millie's since 2021 for our two labrador retrievers to varying degrees of success. A couple of their mixes did not go down well, hard to pinpoint, Duck & Veg playing a part in one pancreatitis diagnosis and the other Labby's symptoms. Worrisome that these food motivated dogs turn their nose on this mix.

Would avoid.

I did think this food was great until recently. Boxer dog have been in this for years and years. I received an order around November time and the colour was lighter. My Boxer and Frenchie started drinking and peeing a lot !My Boxer then started to become unwell on it. He has now not eating it at all . I noticed him lethargic, vomitting and totally difference In him. I have had a full MOT scans , blood tests , pee test all analysed to no avail full bill of health. Vet said it must be the food. I started making him my own food for dogs and he is much better now . When I give him even the smallest bit of it he ends up ill
I emailed customer service but don't believe them after all like our food you don't know what the manufacturers do. They will no doubt come back with a reply to this but I know my dogs and had many a dogs over the years .
Was good but it's changed I am 100% sure no matter what they say !

Fantastic food. No additives, no beet pulp as a cheap filler. Every ingredient does something. It’s economical because it’s such good quality. Poo is great, coat is glossy and good energy levels.
Customer service is excellent. It knocks the spots of other foods.

3 months on the trot now MW's Sub Contractor DPD have screwed up the delivery of the product to our house meaning hours on the phone for my wife with DPD and MW direct. Absolute joke and again failed to deliver to our house. No reason whatsoever just Gross Incompetence of both the supplier and the distribution company. The Product? Good but not much point if you cannot get it to your house!!!!!!

The food is fine but the customer service is terrible so we left and won’t be buying there again due to this. The first time I placed an order for next day delivery I don’t get it next day then they explained it has to be ordered before a certain time the day before to get it next day, I don’t see this because I’m dyslexic and they don’t make it clear enough for people with learning difficulties but it’s fine I was in the wrong for not seeing it and when I tried to speak to them about it they just got really rude and treated me as though it was my fault in such a rude manner which was not necessary. This is an example of excellent customer service and how you could have handled my complaint by saying “I’m really sorry that you didn’t get your delivery on time due to not seeing the specifications for next day delivery, however on this occasion as a goodwill gesture we will refund your delivery charge in full. Have a lovely day” this is what you could have said instead of arguing with me about how I went wrong. People make mistakes. There has been a couple of occasions where I have had delivery issues and you have just been downright rude. To me good customer service is very important so this I why I left. I found another provider who are friendly and don’t have issues with deliveries.

Can’t recommend them enough.

Eve the nutritionist was great for her advice on the food we should try and how prompt she was coming back to me about a query with ordering too.
Our puppy loves the food too.

Eve was great with some useful advice, when choosing what biscuits to get Rufus our cockapoo! He loves the selection of biscuits and I don't worry if he doesn't eat his raw food as I know the biscuits will do the trick and they are full of everything he needs! As Rufus is fussy we get the 700g bags.

Been struggling with my 9 month puppy; tried many different and expensive alternatives. Wow he adores his food and with loads of fab advice from Alison, have now reduced his protein intake and it appears to be working great. The transition was scary and took two days. However, with further advice kept feeding the duck and veg and his poo is brilliant.

Really high quality food which my giant 50kg dog loves. Also very good customer service, we had a delivery issue with DPD and they sent a new order straight away with a free bag of treats. Thank you!

We came across this food when looking to change our young vizsla's diet, but it was only a strong recommendation from a local dog trainer that made us focus on it & seek advice on the best options within their extensive kibble range.
The prompt reply from their nutritional adviser, Eve, was very helpful in pinpointing a strategy to gain some weight and to work towards identifying some suspected allergies. We are hopeful that this food will work well with Boo, as it appears to offer the necessary quality & flexibility to achieve our expectations.
Delivery of their Endurance mix was received within 5 days of our order, and a trial is underway. So far Boo loves it (as she does with almost any food) and it appears to digest well, without the issues experienced from the previous foods.

Millies Wolfheart offers a decent variety of dog foods and helpful advice, especially if you have a dog with specific dietary needs. We found their recommendations beneficial for our dogs, with noticeable improvements in their weight and digestion. However, their reliance on DPD for deliveries can be frustrating, with several instances of missed deliveries despite being at home. Their food quality is commendable, but the delivery issues have been a repeated hassle. Overall, a mixed experience due to the delivery service but good product quality.
