(Travel between Milos and Athens) Not at all surprised by their terrible rating, which perfectly reflects their service. The staff (except for one or two normal people) is detestable and disrespectful. You think you have a numbered seat, but instead, they herd you into the restaurant and it’s a mad rush for everyone… People are sitting on the floor, the staff couldn’t care less. Choose another company if you can, you will bitterly regret traveling with Minoan Lines

Χάλια! Περιμέναμε μές την ζέστη να μας βάλουν μες το πλοίο. ΑΓΕΝΕΣΤΑΤΟ ΠΡΩΣΟΠΙΚΟ ΣΕ ΟΛΑ ΤΑ ΚΑΡΑΒΙΑ ΤΟΥΣ ΠΟΥ ΕΧΩ ΜΠΕΙ. Ζητάνε ταυτότητα εκτός από εισιτήριο και πρέπει να αφήσεις τις βαλίτσες σε συγκεκριμένο σημείο και μάλιστα αν κάθεσαι στο σαλόνι θα σου φέρουν τον κάθε πικραμένο που έχει βγει απ το Δαφνί. Δεν αφήνουν την κατανάλωση φαγητού εκτός από το εστιατόριο. ΚΛΕΙΣΤΕ ΤΟ ΤΟ ΜΑΓΑΖΙ ΑΓΑΠΕΣ ❤

The worst experience ever! The employee was rude from the beginning and doesn’t speak english!!! How can he be working on a cruise ship when he doesn’t speak english! Horrible experience and we do not recommend this company!

Wir fuhren mit Hund von Brindisi nach Igoumenitsa auf der Fähre Kydon Palace von Minoan Lines. Minoan Lines gehört zur Grimaldi Group. Die Fähre war ca. zu 20% belegt. Online bei Grimaldi Lines gebucht hatten wir eine Kabine mit Hund und ein kleines Frühstück. Die Fahrkarte hatten wir online erhalten, jedoch mussten wir im Hafen von Brindisi uns mindestens 2 Stunden zuvor beim Grimaldi Lines Terminal einfinden um dort 7 Aufkleber für uns zwei Personen, den Hund, das Fahrzeug und die Kabinenkarten zu erhalten. Dann konnten wir 2 Stunden vor Abfahrt der Fähre in den Hafenbereich einfahren, wozu ein Aufkleber abgescannt wurde um dann wiederum auf einem Parkplatz auf die Einschiffung zu warten. Ca. 1 Stunde vor Abfahrt der Fähre konnten wir einschiffen wozu wieder ein Aufkleber abgescannt wurde. Auf der Fähre mussten wir zur Rezeption um dort neue Kabinenkarten zu bekommen. Es stellt sich die Frage was soll das Ausdrucken der Aufkleber am Grimaldi Terminal wenn die online erhaltene Fahrkarte, auch auf dem Mobiltelefon darstellbar, alle Daten aufwies und mit einem Strichcode versehen war. Komplett sinnfrei. Die Kabine war in die Jahre gekommen. Das Selbstservice Restaurant, das wir mit dem mitreisenden Hund nicht betreten durften, war am Abend für ca. 30 Minuten geöffnet. Auch war es nicht erlaubt des Essenstablett aus dem Selbstservice Restaurant in einen sehr kleinen Bereich vor dem Bordshop mit zu nehmen in dem der Hund gestattet war. Die Bar, auch mit Hund nicht betretbar, war länger geöffnet. Am Morgen wurden wir über eine Stunde vor Ankunft aufgefordert die Kabine zu verlassen. Es stellte sich wieder das Problem wohin mit dem Hund, und wo frühstücken. Das Personal auf dem Schiff war, mit Ausnahme einer Stewardess, oft sehr barsch und oft des Englischen kaum mächtig.
Fazit: Minoan Lines ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Tatsächlich war ich von euch vorgewarnt, gut gerüstet mit Desinfektionsmitteln, eigens mitgebrachten Schlafdecken etc. und dann absolut positiv überrascht ein sauberes Boot, eine TipTop geräumige und makellos appetitliche Kabine, freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen vorzufinden.
Also mit der Festos Palace zwischen Heraklion und Piräus darf man sich trauen...

Nach mittlerweile 13 Überfahrten, nie wieder mit der Fähre nach Griechenland !
In Bari am Thermial wurden wir 3mal verjagt, keine Parkmöglichkeiten für Wohnmobile !
Am Schiff durften wir uns mit kleinem Hund nur draußen aufhalten u. da nur mit Maulkorb zudem war die gebuchte Kabine mit Hund unzumutbar...
Telefonische anfragen wegen Umbuchung blieben erfolglos..trotz leeren Schiff wurden wir eingeparkt das wir nur mit Mühe aussteigen konnten.
Die bewertungen spiegeln den derzeitigen Stand !!

Gruseliges Schiff. MS Florencia ist dreckig, Kabinen abgeranzt, Essen wirklich sehr schlecht. Besser über Land reisen.

If I could give -10 I would. This company is the first thing that made me regret coming to Greece. 1. I booked the tickets 6 months before, so that on the day of departure they would send me for an additional "check in" and take another €11 2. It's just that they don't charge you for the air you breathe on board. WiFi is paid additionally. 3. Cars are packed like sardines to make the best possible use of space, so if you get hurt, no one is to blame. 4. 90% of the staff extremely rude. They swear at you in Greek, then answer in English. You are a shame for Greece and Greeks.

Απογοήτευση η πρώτη μου εμπειρία και είναι και η τελευταία.σου λενε Έλα νωρίτερα και περιμένεις τουλάχιστον 40 λεπτά έξω από το καράβι βλέποντας νταλίκες να μπαινοβγαίνουν.το προσωπικό βαριέται που ζει τους ρωτάς κάτι και δεν τους καίγεται καρφί να σου δείξουν.ενα χάλι μαύρο.σε κοιτάνε λες και σε πάνε για εκτέλεση.καταστρωμα ανυπαρκτο για όσους θέλουν να κάτσουν λίγο έξω κάτι μαραμενες καρέκλες και περιμένεις λες και πας για σισιτιο.

At the same time, to travel from Igoumenitsa to Angona, there is no check and there is no restriction as is the case in all other countries in the world. Rude staff, they put their heads inside the car to check the percentage and they treat you like a criminal.

I booked a return ticket for about 3 months in advance. However, due to some issues, I had to cancel the reservation a few days later. Their website clearly stated that cancellations made within 14 days are eligible for a 100% refund. Despite this, they deducted €350 from the total amount I paid.

They claimed that the refund policy only applies to domestic routes. When I asked where the policy for international routes was stated, they simply ignored my question.

If a website has a refund policy, it must be clearly and explicitly stated. Minion Lines is a third-party booking service for Grimaldi Lines. So, I contacted Grimaldi Lines customer support directly. However, they also refused to help me in any way.

We've taken many ferry trips before, but this was our first time booking with this company. They unfairly withheld €350 from us and have since stopped responding to our support tickets. We will absolutely never book with either of these companies again. For anyone considering making a reservation with them—beware: if anything goes wrong or you need to cancel, they may unlawfully withhold your money.

I will consult with my bank and lawyer as soon as possible and begin legal proceedings. There is only one refund policy published on their website, and what is written there is legally binding for the company. Anyone acting otherwise is either ignoring the company’s official terms or engaging in digital fraud under the company’s name.

Wir sind mit der Venezia die Strecke Ancona Igoumenitsa gefahren 06.09.hin am 02.10.zurück.
wir hatten beidemale Kabine 6125.
Die Kabine, Bettwäsche, Toilette und Dusche waren sauber. zu den schlechten Bewertungen möchte ich folgendes sagen. Die Venezia ist eine Fähre und kein Luxusliner.Das Essen war soweit in Ordnung. Verschmutzungen an Deck und in den Toiletten werden von Passagieren verursacht nicht von der Crew. Bierflaschen Pappbecher wegräumen ist nicht und dann die gepolsterten Sitzbänke als Schlafstätte benutzen.Das personal am Checkin war freundlich und die Fähre pünktlich. .Beide Überfahrten ware in Ordnung.

Toen we een overtocht van Italië naar Griekenland overwogen waren we op basis van de negatieve online recensies voorbereid op het ergste. Niets was minder waar! De boot vanuit brindisi vertrok op tijd, het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en gastvrij, een zeer schone boot en een goed ontbijt. Kortom een zeer goede ervaring.

Nachdem wir all diese vernichtenden Beurteilungen gelesen haben, haben wir todesmutig trotzdem bei Minoan Lines gebucht. Die Reise ging von Ancona nach Igoumenitsa. Die Erfahrung war durchwegs positiv. Das Personal war freundlich, die Kabine sauber und zweckmässig, Dusche hat funktioniert und war warm, das Deck war sauber und wurde regelmässig gereinigt, die Verspätung von einer Stunde hielt sich im Rahmen und das Boarding war ebenfalls ohne Probleme. Ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen, da mich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überzeugt hat.

Ho viaggiato con la nave Florentia tra Igoumenitsa e Ancona. Nave sporca, trascurata sia negli ambienti interni che suoi ponti. Gabinetti intasati e non funzionanti. Attrezzature di salvataggio che allo sguardo sembrano logore e prive di recenti manutenzioni, ufficiali scortesi e seccati dalle domande. Solo al bar e ristornate il personale era gentile.

Fähre Ancona Igoumentitza
Ein alter Seelenverkäufer, die Fähre kam schon dreckig an. Draußen überall hunderte Zigarettenstummel auf dem Boden, der Boden war insgesamt sehr dreckig. Eine einzige Herrentoilette war geöffnet (von 6 (2x3). Diese war schnell verstopft, so dass der ganze Raum unter Wasser stand - ekelhaft. Dann wurde gnädigerweise eine andere Toilette geöffnet. Gereinigt wurde erst viel später.
Insgesamt war der Kahn ungepflegt und unfassbar dreckig.
Das Personal wie immer störrisch, unmotiviert, unfreundlich.
Das Essen ebenfalls nix. Nicht lecker, nur teuer.
Das muss ich mir nicht noch einmal geben. Ich hoffe, dass ich das nicht vergesse.

We booked our crossing from Ancona to Igoumenitsa before reading any reviews. I’m very glad we did. Had I read the reviews I wouldn’t have booked the crossing however, our experience was a pleasant surprise.
Our cabin was clean and tidy with clean bedding. The bathroom was clean and in full working order as were all toilet facilities in public spaces.
Food was available from multiple outlets with a good choice from the restaurant a la carte menu, self service kitchen and cafe. My husband ate spaghetti bolognaise on Wednesday evening and on Thursday he had Veal Giovetsi and I had baked cod in a tomato sauce with rice, all were delicious and reasonably priced with plenty of available tables to sit and eat at.
It would be useful to know via your email booking confirmation that you need to check in at the Minoan Lines office before heading to the port and a little more direction from staff on disembarking with our vehicle would of been helpful.

Grimaldi hat ja Minoan übernommen und anstatt der schönen Minoan Venezia kommt die alte Grimaldi Florencia und verlässt mit fast zweistündiger Verspätung den Hafen von Ancona 😖
Für mehr als 1.070 Euro gibt es eine Kabine mit löchrigen Bettlaken, Haaren im Waschbecken, großen Mengen Schmutz in der Kabine und eine Fußmatte für das Bad gibt es auch nicht 🙈. Alles in allem sehr eklig. Logisch, dass sich die Klimaanlage nicht steuern lässt. Leider haben wir die Rückfahrt mit dem Seelenverkäufer inkludiert. Aber dann - nie wieder Grimaldi!
