My initial queries were answered with care and understanding. They clearly knew their products and systems, a great start so I was happy to do business with them.
My order was placed and an amount exceeding £3,000 was fully paid on 1.2.2024
I had no information and asked what was happening on 22.2.2024 (three weeks without any information)
On 23.2.2024 I got a reply informing me that it was “not the way we usually do things.” (A repeated assertion in their negative reviews). But no tangible information.
Still no information by 27.2.2024 so I cancelled my order before it was shipped.
On 27.2.2024 they asked me to give them more time without explaining why.
On 27.2.2024 I asked them to again to cancel my order and refund me as soon as possible.
On 28.2.2024 they acknowledged my request and then told me that my refund would take at least 17 working days for me to get into my account.
Today is the 11.3.2024 and according to my reckoning I have to wait for another 7 days to get my money back.
It is now obvious that they had no intention to fulfil my order but use my money as a short term, interest free, loan facility.
I'm now, reluctantly, getting my credit card company and PayPal involved in this problem.
Beware of this company.

I've used Mobility Scooter Plus for some years now and not once have I regretted buying from them. They have always been helpful and understanding of my disability.

😭 when you get a problem with your wheelchair. They promise that they will come out and fix it in your home under warranty, however they have said they can’t fix mine and will take it to a repair shop to get it sorted out. No replacement wheelchair - so what am I supposed to use to get about? I am a full-time wheelchair user. They also don’t know how long it will be in for Repair. Unacceptable when you rely on these devices 24/7

Having had many mobility scooters previously I didn't need to have the controls explained. We let the driver unload the box at the side of the road and leave as parking is very difficult where we live. I was very pleased as I had been told that it wouldn't arrive for several days.

I wasn’t really sure what I wanted but I was guided and assisted in making my choice. I had to wait a little longer than expected due to the scooter of my choice having to come from the manufacturer but it was delivered without any problems and I was given a run through of the controls etc. I was very pleased with my scooter and the very smooth transaction. Customer service was amazing Paul went above and beyond to go through the specs of the mobility scooters I was interested in and provided me with lots of knowledge to make the best decision for what I needed. Nothing was too much trouble and all my questions were answered. Delivery was quick and the scooter was packaged carefully. Aftercare has also been great with my insurance documents and warranty information coming through before my scooter arrived and advice on what the best policy for insurance is to take out after the free period ends. Thanks so much for all your help.

The service and advice I received from you was excelent, When Rob delivered my wheelchair to me he was courteous and professal throughout his visit, I am more than to have purchased from Mobility Scooters Plus and, very pleased with my wheelchair, I will advise anyone to contact Mobility Scooters Plus first.

We received these two brand new scooters already 2 weeks later. Did not expect it to arrive that soon.

In October 2023. I ordered online with Mobility Scooters Plus. An electric Wheelchair. This was the first time I had dealt with this Company. Having spoken with the shop, I discovered they were out of stock and so was the manufacturer's warehouse and they were not expecting that model Wheelchair in until some time in January 2024. I was then asked by Rob the shop manager, if I wanted my money back, or did I want to wait until the next shipment was due in to the warehouse. I said Would prefer to wait because the model I had chosen was a wheelchair for use in the house and only 22 inches wide. Which suited my purpose as I lived in a small bungalow. I was then offered by Rob the manager of the shop, the loan of a wheelchair until mine came in. I was so taken aback by the offer, as of all the shops I have dealt with over the many years I have used a wheelchair. I have never been offered a service such as this. I thought at first there was a catch in it? Perhaps it was to pay rental on the wheelchair I was being loaned? But no. It was a genuine offer which I accepted gratefully. I thought it was a fantastic and very generous offer and to prove it, a new wheelchair was delivered to my home within two days by a very nice guy called Paul who assembled the w/chair for me, all I had to do was to get on it and steer it. Then he accepted the offer of a coffee after his long journey, then we had quite a nice homely chat with each other. Before he left for his long drive home.
I emphasize. What a fantastic shop and staff to deal with. I would recommend anyone who wants good service from a helpful and honest staff. To use them for your purchase. You can not go wrong.

Further update!!
I have now had the wheelchair that I ordered. I am over the moon with it, It's much nicer to look at than what I imagined it would be from the pictures of it. It goes very smoothly and quietly it is a brilliant purchase. Well worth waiting for.

I found a firm with outstanding first class service.My wife was desperate for a mobility scooter with having M.S and virtually unable to walk far so we taled things over with Paul and decided on the scooter she needed and bought it.We was given a time frame on delivery and showing my wife all about it and it was delivered to the day.We was very pleased with the pleasant attitude of all the staff at this company.Really old fashioned treatment and other companies could learn a lot from them as how to get customers who will buy and stay with the company who have all this style of selling and helping people understand things and being very very polite. Thank you so much.

Great machine from a great team,bought m/c nearly a year ago and just recently needed a receipt,This was done rightaway.This reminded me i hadent done a review.Machine was delivered on and put togeather for my wife.any questions were answerd.This was a perfect purchase from a perfect team at a unbeatable price.Turned out they were local to me Rutland

I bought a Freerider 6HD (for the larger lady!) from this company and it has been perfect. It works every time and I have had no problems with it at all. The after sales is very good and Paul was extremely helpful regarding chargers etc. The original delivery in Aug 2023 was like Ronseal it did exactly what it said on the tin. We will deliver at this time on this day and unload it to my door so I just could get on it fully charged and drive up the road on it. It was perfect then as it is now. I am so glad that these guys (ladies included) in the team are so focused on getting you the right product getting it when they tell you it will be with you and for selling such good products. And for any advice or understanding and needing explanations Paul helped me through the quagmire of questions I didn’t understand regarding car cigarette charger but his clear precise answers did. I would not hesitate from using this company again. If all companies had their ethos on customers the world would be a better place and a lot less stressful. Was contacted and told my delivery would be at 9 this morning , chap ( sorry forgot your name ) was at my door at 9 on the dot , delivered and spent all the time I needed to instruct me on the use and safety of my new scooter. Very polite and knowledgeable , would be very happy to do business with ( Mobility Scooters Plus ) in the future and very pleased with my new scooter.

I felt secure using this company am very grateful. Yesterday had diagnosis. My achilles tendon is ruptured.

Still waiting for repayment from this company of over £2000 after having TWO faulty scooters sent to me. Would not recommend them at all! Had to take the case to court, court has ordered repayment of money and I'm STILL waiting. Terrible company - go elsewhere!

There were issues with the manufacturer not providing the order and Paul made sure I had the most appropriate loan scooter to use.
we then changed product and this was delivered when promised.

Ordered a rise and recline chair for my mother, she is so happy with it! Prompt and very efficient delivery, they even helped her move some furniture she couldn’t manage to. Highly recommend using this company!!

I bought an ATTO Sport scooter from Mobility Scooters Plus which was no small expense.

Chris at Mobility Scooters Plus was very informative, which helped me make the best choice for my circumstances.

The team has also been very responsive to any follow-up questions I have had.

I bought the ATTO Sport to take it to Australia and remain mobile. I gravitated towards the ATTO Sport because it folded into one unit rather than breaking down into three or four components.

The scooter, combined with the ATTO travel bag, gave me peace of mind travelling to Australia, which involved transferring at Singapore.

I will be recommending Mobility Scooters Plus for anyone with mobility needs.

product arrived on time, still problems with delivery as truck could not get to my house, alternative arrangements by. us needed so it could get delivered. product does as it should, star deducted because of above all else fine.
