Molton Brown customer service resolved a recent technical problem for me today.
I just want to say a big thank you for your quick response and for adding my missing points.
Incidently my products arrived safely yesterday and my husband is very happy with them.

Long term purchaser of MB products BUT just watch out for the subscription aspect to any on-line purchase. Very naughty.

Ordered perfume as a gift, ticked boxes for gift wrapping and message to recipient. Parcel arrived on time, but NOT gift wrapped and NO message. Embarrasing - not impressed, paid full price for item as well.

Unplanned visit and purchase on 30 August 26. Made to feel very welcome by Kate who was exceptional in terms of assistance and advice. A service that simply cannot be replicated online. Thank you.

⁹Just wanted to give a shout out to Jodie at your store in Windsor when we visited a while ago. She was incredibly helpful and very informative. She really helped my husband with his queries about various products and fragrances. Jodie is what customer services is all about and it's so refreshing at a time when so many companies have forgotten to 'look after' their customers!

Ordered £70+ of stuff so could also get the travel bag. Then told that as some products were discounted I wouldn’t get. This really was not clear on website. Feel a bit misled

I bought a perfume from Molton Brown after trying the tester in the store, which had a lovely, noticeable scent. However, when I opened the perfume I purchased, the smell was extremely weak and completely different from the one I tried in the store. It honestly felt cheap and was a complete waste of money.

I also had a very disappointing experience with the manager at the outlet, who was unhelpful and simply said there was nothing wrong with the perfume.

I would not recommend this brand. Save your money and buy elsewhere.

I have previously had 5 star service as a multi return customer of Molton Brown. However, on 23rd Aug at 01:39 I placed an order. When I checked the order I realised I hadn’t purchased a 100ml bottle of fragrance - but a 30 ml bottle. I immediately cancelled it. I screenshot the cancellation for my records and it is time stamped at 01:44! ….within 6 mins it was confirmed cancelled by Molton Brown!
Today, Tuesday 25th, I have received notification “It’s too late to cancel from our side as it’s already shipped.” They say, “We have notified the courier not to deliver.” “Once the package is returned to us we will issue a refund it could take 5-7 days to be credited to your original payment method.” “If they attempt delivery you can refuse it!” In my experience they throw them over my garden wall - so how do I refuse this kind of delivery I wonder?
It also advises “If it is successfully delivered (thrown over the garden wall) I can click the link for the returns process”
I have contacted by return email - it resulted in an immediate notification from the courier threatening delivery!
I am dumbfounded! Not for a minute do I think that someone packed and despatched the order in 6 minutes at gone 1 am on a Sunday morning? So how after notifying me of the acknowledged cancellation did you proceed with sending the order Molton Brown??

I had an issue with a subscription recently. I cannot fault Molton Brown customer service for their helpful and generous response, as well as the swiftness with which they resolved the problem. Top marks to everyone at Molton Brown! I love your products and I'll be subscribed for life! :)

Parcel delivered. Left on doorstep. Not received. Emailed to tell them. Sent me the photo of my front door to locate the parcel!!!!!
I am very annoyed as i do want the items. I will not shop with thdm again and definately would not recommend.

Generally adore everything Molton Brown do. Always reminds me of my daughter’s wedding and luxury hotel stays. I have candles, reed diffusers, hand cream, hand and shower gel BUT black pepper deodorant is bad!! Smells like a chemical spill!

Well I had won a prize so I am even more impressed with Molton Brown

On reporting the non arrival of my order at the correct address by Amazon I sent a message to Molton Brown on Saturday. No reponse by Wednesday. I called the freefone number on Wednesday and spoke to Meg who immediately took action to redress the situation and followed up by email. Presumably the lesson is always use phone contact if you need action! Thanks Mge.

I have just bought the lip saver product and like it so far. It is quite a tiny tube but I think it will last a good while. It was sent with an excessive amount of packaging as well as an unwanted gift bag. I fed this concern back to Molton Brown and was really impressed by the speed and intent of their response. I did not expect this and feel it deserves a special mention.

I am always delighted with the Molton brown products but one recently disappointed. I reported it not expecting anything and there is now a product review. I have used them for ever and never had an issue. The customer service has been exemplary living up to the usual product quality. Thank you 🙏🏼

We recently bought Lemon and Mandarin hand soap. We were very disappointed as there is virtually no scent at all.

I have been a Molton Brown customer for years and genuinely like the products. However, recurring fulfillment problems have made ordering directly from the company a rather unpleasant experience. I am considering moving to Diptyque.

My second-to-last order included the advertised complimentary gift box, but it was not included in the shipment. I have experienced this issue multiple times. I was unable to reach customer service using the published phone numbers during the listed hours. I do not believe the number is functional. I contacted customer service using the web form, and the representative who assisted me was courteous and responsive. However, the solution was less than ideal. Instead of the requested gift box, a gift bag was sent separately. It arrived late and was crumpled.

After this issue, I was advised to call immediately after placing a future order if I needed gift packaging. I followed those instructions and contacted Molton Brown promptly after placing my last order. Despite following the advice, Molton Brown was unable to include the gift packaging with the initial shipment. Molton Brown's fulfillment issues appear to be systemic rather than an isolated oversight.

The products themselves are excellent, which makes these recurring operational issues even more disappointing. Customer service representatives have been polite and have tried to help, but Molton Brown needs to address the underlying fulfillment and support problems that make the ordering experience unpleasant and result in a great deal of wasted time and effort.
