Having bought and sold a few properties and using various conveyancers, it was refreshing to deal with people who are efficient, friendly, willing to help and always at the end of the phone. Montrose dealt with the sale of our property and the purchase of our new home. The sale went through smoothly and efficiently with zero stress thanks to Montrose. The purchase itself was particularly complex and despite it dragging on for over a year (at no fault of Montrose) they never wavered in the delivery of their service, going above and beyond to keep things moving and supporting us every step of the way. Professional service with timely feedback given for any questions raised during the sale process

I am very disappointed with the service and have actually pulled out from using Monrose. After clearly stating a fee for probate on the final estimate they are now saying that the probate figure was for “admin” that can not be explained and that they don’t actually do probate! The “final estimate” clearly wasn’t final, it was never explained to us that they don’t do probate and someone has made a mistake. Either way I have wasted 2 months and have no confidence in their abilities, hence have taken my business elsewhere at a cost to me of £150.

I have dealt with a few Conveyancing firms in the past, hands down Montrose are the best I have had the pleasure to deal with. The Friendly team are always quick to respond to any questions, no matter how trivial. Special mention to Penny and Sarah who helped stress that is usually endured during the conveyancing process be kept to an absolute minimum.
I will 100% be using this company in the future and I highly recommend anyone looking for conveyancing services to use Montrose.

Very dissapointing service, sad to say from start to finish I had to chase and email for updates, if you are thinking about registering land I would advise not to use as don't feel they are competent enough, sale and purchase nearly feel through two times due to delays and wrong paperwork submitted but they didn't seem to care, we had to beg the clients to hold on, eventually completed never even emailed or rang to say congratulations. Bad experience

We cannot fault Montrose conveyancing. They dealt with our sale and our purchase efficiently and ensured we were kept up to date either via the online app Hoowla or via email and/or telephone calls.
